cap would suck for Acacia until there is an RP escape item to survive the dialog. So I think if an escape item is created that character can develop over time. In fact, using an escape instead of an Allure can be a moral victory as well for anyone interested in that.

I don’t mind your RP storyline idea, but all storylines feel kinda meaningless to me in the hypothetical. My Gareth doesn’t have a sister, so I don’t have a bias leaning towards “What if he did”. My villagers can’t even entirely settle on their own backstories, so I’m not committed to cementing any one story yet.

I like your ideas though, and I share the desire for their to be more point to Acacia than there is now. Fingers crossed, moral support for TD and all that.

Stay South of the Deep Woods to avoid Acacia. They show up differently on the map and you can kinda see Orson's house so you know when to head north.

I consider Acacia a WIP, the game ends when you die and this character just ends the story. Best case scenario you drag out an Allure Potion RP with a character that doesn't communicate well, can be guided towards non violent outcomes and then will "click-boom" execute you in one post regardless of how the RP went up until that point.

Learned you can't get her into a group convo and just blacklisted all of the Deep Woods until further notice.

Getting Lore out of the LLM is.. unpredictable. So in your game I'm sure Acacia can be anything, Orson considers her a wild friend in my world and still joined me on a trip to the Deep Woods to stand around and witness my execution anyway >.>

Dead End for the time being, but who knows what might come of it in the future. Cute Skull Dog character either way.

Two of those ten live out of town. One of those two visits the tavern, rarely. Good luck.

No game needs a wiki as much as this one v.v.. but it's fun to wing it in and learn the hard way or through little tid bits in these comment windows.
Asterisks is the discord RP box.
*takes a short walk out the front door, waving to Gareth as he leaves to get the job done for him. Methodically taking his axe to every felled branch in the woods surrounding the tavern until the sun had moved high into the sky and he had only the task of carrying the remains of each branch back to the big innkeepers shed. Locking it closed with the ornate padlock found hanging from it's handle before tiredly walking his way back into the tavern, wanting nothing more than that promised ale and a long soak in the bath house*
Done, Gareth.. That's.. Fuck me that must be a months worth of wood piled up in your shed now, although, I guess since you're using it to run a whole tavern maybe I'm overestimating how long it will last you.. *leaning up against the bar as he looked to the big wolf, hoping to see that Ale he was looking forward to in his paws* I trust that satisfies today's work order?
Boom, feed'm stuff like that. Everything Italicized on your screen was in Asterisks for the Ai. I've only ever seen a few dozen text boxes from the Ai fully break to show me what's going on behind the scenes, and of that, asterisks were most of what I understood. Three Eyes and a few others have slipped in comments that talk about () being Out Of Character interaction with the client/Ai/LLM behind the scenes.. but I have zero understanding of what it does, means, or makes possible.

I tried a memory 'command' I read in these comments once and it slowed my session down af until the next time I loaded it up. No regrets though, folks remember what I wanted them to remember from that ^.^

I'll try to be succinct.

Gareth will sell you the shed, play nice, improve your friendship with him and bring up in conversation that he should already know that you paid for the shed and are waiting for him to give you the key. Keep prompting the Ai to figure out that it owes you the shed key and it should, eventually follow through. Other than that interaction I recommend avoiding conversational trades until you have saved right before it and have the patience to fight through a lot of attempts. Sometimes it's expert and flawless, sometimes I give up and will try again later..

Your property is an invisible box between the river, the tavern and Rosalyn's home. Three eyes showed one screen shot once that gave a map of it, or a portion of one, Basically, you can build on your square when you have the key, and one other residents' squares when they give you a key to their place.

You rarely reply directly, but I see that you read through and listen well. Thank you, Three Eyes.

My bug report is one that I'm not sure if I know is a bug or a mechanic I haven't solved yet. I used a levitation potion to get to the chest in the center of a large gap in the Glacial Fortress, and I didn't have permission to take anything out of the chest. Would have been a decent haul, but I had a similar thing months ago when I got to the last chest in the Flooded Caverns. just a chest I wasn't allowed to loot.

I don't clear dungeons often enough to know if it's particularly regular, but with no fix it takes me a few days to come back with the supplies to try again.

I’ve liked Aldric least since the start of the game for two reasons. Business wise he hallucinates far beyond his capabilities, and then he also seems to be the character that wants you to tell him about your day the most and he’ll prompt it every time you interact with him instead of remembering you just told him all of it. I like that sometimes you can give him a push in the right direction and sometimes he can handle items and requests properly, but anything HE ever suggests.  Don’t do it. He cannot follow through.

I recommend trying to learn alchemy with Rosalyn, that was fun for my character when she honestly was making up nonsense and being a supportive teacher. Celandine is practically my dark arts teacher in alchemy so uses for the Allure potion and creating me things with Liquid Latex that could be kept on our residents nightstands was a beneficial addition to my relationship with her.

Hayden/ mostly perfect and adorable.

Mirel/ I agree completely. Conversation sex pests are a time sink, though I’ve been having fun bringing two characters together and having my character leave them to it. That’s when the writing just blending together came out for me the most.  Everyone talks to each other the way I talk to them if I’m not in the room v.v

And Acacia will be a good character, when she stops being a death sentence.

Does everyone else basically barely talk to Orson too since he’s so out of the way? I never thought twice about the relationship daily limit because I was maxed before it was implemented, but with Orson it’s… shockingly inconvenient. 16 map tile trip to exchange pleasantries or a nightly check to the tavern to tell myself I need to write down what days I saw him on.. wish I could trade for animal meat with him too. My exploring supplies are unpredictable if I can’t find any of wildlife to hunt on the way.

I think this is harmless, I’m still trying to tune in to what provokes it but I’m suspicious it’s the teleporting, and it’s in two parts. First, a conversation teleports without every member of the group and effectively kills the original thread of dialogue. Can’t communicate with people you left behind, can’t walk back to them without losing the thread. No biggie, getting used to it.

And then, sometimes after a good teleport my options list doubles the “Have X Character follow” “Have Everyone Follow” options. So my list is “Leave, Have Rosalyn Follow, Have Everyone Follow, Have Rosalyn Follow, Have Everyone Follow, Trade, Give Item, Give Gold.”  Super minor, definitely a bug. I kind of hope/wish that the doubled option would actually have a different person in the conversation follow, but I doubt that how it’s working.  I’ll grab a screenshot of it next time.

Yeah, didn't nuke my life to employ it.. respectfully.. but I also had zero progress on getting to the Fortress today with hours of time burned in game >.> So.. Plan accordingly.

I’ve been brought to spots in RP for little asides that were so wonderful I kinda wondered if it was a coded thing that could happen. Considered laying down a name bit of floor to commemorate the spots I picked for those, and then I updated the game and lost a lot of the RP memory that may or may not have built up in the background. Everyone stayed at 100 love, but forgot how any of those relationships worked v.v. I did keep my second watch tower though.  That was awesome.

Start asking around town. On sight Rosalyn and Gareth both were.. not supportive of their existence.

Finally found, and used these Allure potions. Um, big fan.. no notes. Acacia likes them too… but, it did not spare my life. So. I went it on a high note and I sure did learn a lot, but, I checked at every opportunity if I could escape the conversation or start a follow command, or teleport the conversation somewhere. I actually even gave her my second one to drink when I couldn’t get myself out of the situation.
No luck. So, I prefer a badass mob that I can just fight to the death like the strange slimes. Or, if it’s not impossible to create, have Acacia start as a savage beast and when we knock her down to zero health, spawn the NPC Acacia on the body and remove the death countdown. Even if she’s never going to be safe to be around at all times I need a win condition to engage with the content. Oh, but seriously, o.o these Allure Potions. They pretty much make up for anything that has ever gone wrong in this game, although I say this before my first friendly use of the thing has worn off. I might have made a mistake today.

The way Rosalyn has talked her up in my playthrough I was very surprised Isolde wasn’t the very next NPC added to the game.

Currently loving right now that I’m running into different NPC’s on the adjacent map squares to Silverpine regularly. Orson’s a given, but I found Mirel two tiles over on my way back from the caverns and walked with her back to town. It was delightful!

you’re a legend. Thank you. I’m learning that the swamp might be ntfw at my current level.

If you're looking at your map. Locations tend to get a cloud over the tile they are in. Caves to the east is straight forward. There's a Glacial Fortress in the High Mountains you need a key to get in and I believe way in the bottom right there is something to find in the swamp. The swamp is kicking my teeth in, so I have yet to risk it.. Flooded Cave gave me half a key for Glacial, I assume the Swamp is hiding the other half.  Also, I think Orson's house (Way North West) Gets a cloud sometimes.. I dunno, the map is rough, I need to take a close look at it.

Blah, it's night on my save. Either way, you might be able to see hints of stuff by looking closely at it. I only really know about the cave, the fortress and I've been murdered in the Deep Woods to the north.

Pretty sure I was in the map square of Silverpine, as in entering the zone, after the sun had set every time so far. But they weren’t all over the place. Just a lone slime in the center-ish of town.

I only just realized that this line I’m seeing it the relationship bar is the daily cap. Everyone was maxed out until the new NPC appeared and the second time we interacted they clicked for me. Then with the update wiping some level of interaction memory from my save I quickly upset Oriana and learned that the cap works both ways, which.. is a pretty good offset.

Only note on this is I would definitely prefer if we doubled the limit in both directions. Not a big deal but Orson is far af out of town and once a week is rare air to be in town and paying attention for it. Maybe I really just want the date added below my stat bars, and names for the seven days in a week.

Maybe it shows up in my inventory, but remembering the days based on my files total number is rough.

Finally did remember how to use Rune stones properly, rocking a legendary sword changes things in a wonderful way.

It’s happened twice since then, last day of winter Rosalyn’s house had a frozen slime outside of it. Villagers do not help fight >.> at least that I can tell, but that is literally one of the main reasons I live in this place.

I just killed a Red Slime directly outside of Aldric's shop o.o What has this update changed? - Also, Deep Woods had an amazing amount of Herb Loot. Very happy with that until I had my throat ripped out

He was not joking about the dialog quality. This is awesome.

Ahh shucks. That daily cap is a long time coming but it was really nice when you’ve restarted your game to bring a few NPC’s into a long conversation and let them boost your reputation to the moon with everyone :p

I’m psyched to see Kane’s expressions though, should be fun.

I’m not kidding, that’s my exact plan if I can migrate the story thus far to a proper quality custom character.  Poof, I got Magic’d in this beast you see before you! How cool is that!?
