A fun and interesting take on the theme. I do like a good "Game inside a game" meta thing.

It wasn't till my second try that I realized there is no point in watching who goes to the counter to pay for their stuff, the game got easier when you just focus on any shrinking icons, otherwise I think I would have been overwhelmed.

Things got slightly choppy on the last level when there were a lot of shoppers, not sure if that's me or it just being web build shenanigans.

Nice work.

The Art, Animations, Audio and overall cleanness of the game is professional level. The way you used the calender and clock instead of classic UI is perfect   The Gameplay was kind of too much for me though. I have had the same problem with another catch the thief game in this jam, but I lose concentration.. idk might just be me. Maybe a counter of how many thief are left in the day would be more rewarding to work with than just a time counter? Would be less realistic though.

Super fun! Loved the art style, and the coffee and cigarette mechanic really helped to keep it interesting. Very well done!

Amazing game, had a lot of fun. The concept is really interesting and well executed. The urge to grab the coffee mug felt too relatable (my coffee mug is right by my side at this very moment). The hand being the cursor made me missclick sometimes (a bit hard to find where the pointer was) but that could be a me problem. 10/10.

This one was spot on for the theme.  Good balance of mechanics, it might get a bit stale just staring at the monitor so the coffee/cigarettes were a good way to keep players on their toes.  If i'm going to nitpick I'd say that the difficulty curve is a bit steep, maybe less customers on the earlier rounds would help ease the player in a bit more, but overall this was a very solid submission, great work!

Amazing game! Love the art and overall atmosphere. I dont know whose ideas were moving hand and walkie-talkie, but that person is a genius.

This was a really original idea and fun game! I drank more coffee than I did while making our game (which was a lot already) and I had to realize I would be a terrible CCTV Operator because I sent the guards on all the wrong people while letting the thieves escape, but I had fun all the way. Beautiful art and an overall very well polished experience. Maybe one thing I would recommend improving is the difficulty curve, but maybe it was just me being bad at it.

Very fun and engaging for such a simple concept! ^^

Amazing game, I really loved the visuals and how we can interact with the cigarette even on the main menu :)

this is a good game I didn't realize that you could only use the cigarette once per level until the final level, but great game good job

Not only is this a fantastic & unique use of theme, but it is executed so well! The artstyle & sound design were both great and everything was polished and juicy.

Gameplay wise the game was so hard for me, I was overwhelmed quickly and struggled to keep track of anyone and kept catching the wrong person, lol

Amazing artstyle and a really cool idea! The menu & credits were really nice, and I liked the music too :) Some suggestions:

  • It was hard to know where my mouse was pointed. Maybe have a small dot as a cross hair in the center of the screen so the player knows where they're clicking
  • I found it difficult to catch a thief in time, especially if they stole something nearby to the exit. Maybe instead of having to click the walkie-talkie you could also e.g. press space? That might help the player be quicker

Great job with this. Has great style, good original idea, nice theme interpretation, and is a really fun idea. I found it too hard to keep track of everyone and I was not precise enough with my clicking to make any progress, but I still had fun.

Wow, phenomenal presentation! From the visual to the sfx, everything felt so alive! Really like the planning aspect of when to use the cigarette and the constant reminder of drinking coffe. The little wobbling when items shrunk was really helpful too. Amazing job, I had a lot of fun!

The best I've played from the jam so far, amazing job!

Love the immersive camera placement on the hand, I really like the items on desk being interactive and part of the gameplay, the parallax effect helps as well. Would love to see it become full game release with more stuff added.

Wow, very on theme! I felt pretty overwhelmed at first and frustrated because there were just too many people to watch out for, but once I started looking out for the shrinking items, I aced it first try! Well done, really solid entry! Thanks for making and sharing it :)

Wow, looks like we had very similar ideas, but approached it very differently :) It's beautifully executed. I've never been so alert and relaxed at the same time. Really great job!

It's really great. The only small pity is that I always move the mouse to the wrong person : (

I am not exaggerating when I say this is the most fun game I have played so far in this jam! Loved it
