I think it looks like the bird from the nuggets youtube video when he almost dies of Nuggets at the end

I gave you a great rating,  because I actually enjoyed the game a lot and I think that the concept is creative! The way the difficulty progresses each level is also very good and I felt like I had a good challenge at the end. The only criticism I have is that the crying baby game over sound  go kind of annoying. The Music sounds very professional and I felt like it could play in an actual Cafe, but for some reason it did not fit very well to the game for some reason. Maybe I'm just used to more crappy music or something.. idk. Very cool overall!

omg your game title says Batlant Theft. I thought I was going crazy for a second haha

yeah, I'm aware of that bug now. I will ask the hosts, maybe I can still fix it. I'm glad you had fun anyways!

I think I can't really play the game, because I have a sub 1080p monitor. I will for shure give it a try if you can fix it somehow..

I know that bird from somewhere... irgenwie von so einer alten Kika sendung oder so? Music is hype and it never got boring, because the gameplay quickly shifts from time based to rage game platformer to getting chased by a ghost. Liked it.

Now that you say it, that would really be nice. Especially because the levels dont have real names. Thank you!

Wow, such a professional game look and feel and UI. The Gameplay is also leans into cozy for me. To just enjoy the music and collect ressources a bit.The Gameplay works well, but I dont knowany other way to win other than stay at a long range and shoot from far, as the enemys can't hit me there. Then there is not really a need for upgrading. Also robbing the towns and then depending on them to fix the ship and upgrade is weird. You don't feel the repercussions of raiding them. But that are just details, theverall game is so good.

I have the new world record btw

Can you enable the full screen button in the itch settings? Love the look of the night city btw!

Quite cool! Reminds me of Smashy Road back in the day! I would have be able to see the police cars behind the building, because I crashed into them without being able to see them. Maybe they could have had the circle around them as well where you can see them through. Or maybe its not that important to have the skyscrapers that tall.

Such a cool vibe with your announcements and the eyes and all. I did not seems to have to escape with the stuff in order to win, or did I?

My Crew is too tuff! But this game was unironically very entertaining. My Buddy had a different tactic to mine, as I only took 1-2 Rats on a heist and he took most of them. He completed the game a lot faster than me. Some of the game seems to just be chance and no real tactic or carefull reading, but I still enjoyed it a lot.

I really enjoyed playing your game! Reminded me of Bloons TD in the slightest. I realy like your cover and tutorial artstyle, I wish you had made the game look like that by making the grass a one color texture.  I would have personally liked that I think. The Ant paths being drawn on the ground is also cool.

Its cool that you have to keep track of which ghosts go to the counter and which don't. I had fun.  I was cunfused as to what made me go game over though, is it the number of shoplifters that got away or my money being depleted? Maybe a clarificaion would help.

Played through the game! I liked that you created an ending where you can see all 10 bags.  The House has a very weird vide. I felt like I was stuck in a liminal space at some point haha

That first hell nah caught me off guard haha. But at some point my dude had a change of mind and didn't wanna eat any more crayons. What a weirdo.

.. I'll keep quiet until then

I have found a trick..

Congrats for winning the Jam! I don't know how I feel about you beating me in the Limitation category, but I'll cry about that on my own haha. I guess you have that one funny horse hand in the in the power select!

I catched all the zombies and killed all the loitering cows! You are the limitation and theme king. I feel like this is would be the most obvious interpretation, but nobody else did it.  I wished this was a 1 week jam and you could have worked on the visulas and sound. Cool

Cool! This was actually very enjoyable. You choice to jump two blocks at first and then be able to chose between left or right makes fast gameplay possible, but for some reason I kept trying to move one block and then two into another direction (in my head . This made it kind of frustrating to try and move quickly to me, as I keptselecting into a wall or get set somewhere else. I would not know how to fix it anyways.. Its so cool that you put in tje efford to make lots of levels. Thats rare for game jams. Even ifits easier fora simple game like this.

The way the horse gets disgusted when hitting the foul blue berries is hillarious!  But the dishes are not that that intuitive to make.. Maybe when dragging an ingredient over the individual cooking utensils, the finished recipe could already be shown? That way you dont waste your time with cooking the wrong dish. The rest was very cool. And the horse whistled the tune when balancing the pot that one time I think. That was nice as well.

COOL!

All Pin Joints! The Hardest part were the cosmetic legs, which were made with skeleton and bones. This helped me:  youtube.com/watch?v=7bSJtARnJ_U

It is quite simple actually, and I was surprised that it works so well. Because works similar to a car and I attached two points per wheel, where the cosmetic legs attach. Then I put collisions onon the two points as well. Aside from the Head and Tail that is basically it. There is also more about the Horse turning when its not touching the ground and lowering its body before a jump, but thats all just additions.

This is best played two handed, one hand butterflies the LMB, and the other hand is ready to press the RMB in case of a piece of horse shit on the ground. Iam going to deduct points for that haha.

The music is fire, really had fun timing the button presses to the beat. Maybe the game would be even more intuitive if there was a slight checker board in the background, like something to gaige the distance to the next platform better. But that was only a minor issue. Maybe its just because iam very used to the checker board being there idk. Otherwise very fun, would have liked to play more!

I wish there was something other than the particles to see, when the horse is supposed to kill the human each time, but maybe thats too gruesome or you can't concentrate on the minigame as good. Everything else is amazing.

The Gif is perfect, even shows that you can kind of groundpound, I didnt even think of that.

no, I just checked really quick what the two foods are but nothing more.

I have no Idea where I got stuck afterall. Could finish the game with no problems at all. And It took like 6 Minutes without reading the Dialog or book  (my second time playing)youtu.be/aIUSJo8fGXA

Oh! I did not even understand that you can dash in the air,  until I read the comments. I think you could add upon this game very well with things like a stomp attack, when you are in the air etc. Very cool.

xmoby writing soo many thoughtful comments for the jam is cool

The game is very clean all around! Also great use of color.

Ohh Interesting. I will give you game another try, if you upload a working version. If you dont get in contact with the Jam Admins and update your game I will hunt you down as well haha

The visuals, story and music work really well together! I finished the three days with ease. I dont know if I understand the tighten the reigns mechanic completely? (wouldnt you hold them tight all the time to be faster and more precise? But otherweise, it was very fun to play. I also noticed that the fance on the side of the road is mirrored? Also did you not use any Software Aside from Visual Studio Code? That is impressive.

Darn Horse. Yeah I was aware of Horses getting stuck, but didnt take the problem too serious I guess. I thought it would work as a rage game, but idk haha. Glad to hear that you enjoyed it though! Thats so cool.

This was incredibly hard for me to beat haha.My Laptop gave me like 10FPS (it gave its best) andI felt like the gas pedaland gravity was very strong. (maybe beacuaseof my framerate?) Otherwise I thought the Idea and use of the limitation was great. You managed to deliver on the idea as well. Also the cars ramming me from behind were very hard to deal with, until I noticed that I can ride in the middle of the road and be fine.

So many characters and content! The art is defenetly the strongest part of the game.  Maybe many small slight grass patches in the floor texture could make it look even better. Just an Idea, I don't actually know what your vision is. Also The Horse set me down outside the towns boundaries once and I couldnt get back in. Sounded like you will keep developing. Dope!
