I loved this! I was able to win it all with N American Crater :) the team names were fantastic and the gameplay felt great. A minor frustration with the camera, not being able to see the action sometimes, but I completely understand with the amount of work this must have been. I had so much fun playing this, amazing job!

I kept thinking the whole time "how is this game going to end? The cards are already doing the cascade." hahaha I loved the blue screen of death :)

This game has a really great vibe :) The mechanics were well explained, so I was able to jump right in. Very solid work!

You nailed the feel - everything felt super responsive and satisfying :) I would love to keep playing this game after you're able to fix the difficulty issues!

This game is beautiful and the control are fantastic :) I agree about being able to look down, that feels necessary. A minimap might be nice too, but it might not be needed. Altogether though, it felt very nice to play. Awesome job!

That makes me very happy to hear and also I'm very sorry hahaha I know there's a bug once you hit 10 crows where they keep spawning endlessly. I can't imagine what your screen must look like :)

My high was 79 :) the trick for me was to just hold down the space bar the whole time and just let go for a split second when I had enough time. It reminded me of trying to learn how to drive stick hahaha it's a very fun game and the audio and effects are pretty perfect. Awesome job!

I got up to 1600, but I think I got a bit lucky. That game is hard hahaha it was really fun though :) Also, loved that title screen!

Sorry for the unclear direction! That underscore represents a space, not an actual underscore.

You did an excellent job with the visuals and all of the customizable menu items :) and the challenges were simple but interesting. This was really well done!

Really nice, creepy atmosphere :) the ambient sounds and music were spot on. I think the only thing it needed were some sound effects for when you landed a strike, since it was tough to tell if they were in your hitbox. Other than that, I enjoyed this one quite a bit! Well done!

Wow, the entire presentation for this game is incredible. The art is original and poppy with a great overall feel :) Excellent job!

Oh man, I am not good at this game hahaha after a while, it started to click though. Great job on the overall theme and feel!

Great idea and I thought the fights were very well balanced. Very well executed, especially for only 3 days of development!

I was smiling the whole time I was playing it :) the combat felt really smooth and satisfying. Great choice of sound effects and music. I could have played a lot more!

Haha whoops! We were pretty down to the wire with making the deadline so i wasnt able to playtest it as thoroughly as i would have liked. The crows should max out at 10, although 21k could work too :) Thank you so much for playing and leaving such a thorough review! We plan on making improvements and releasing as a full game, hopefully, so your comments are very much appreciated.

Thanks! It was actually like the last thing we did, cause we weren't sure if we were gonna have enough time. My wife does all the art and she put it together in about 6 hours.

Thank you so much 🙂 We had never made any kind of fighting game before so we were really happy with what we ended up with. Thanks for letting us know about the keyboard controls. I mostly tested it with a controller so I completely missed that issue. And I would love to make a full version of this game someday, but I know it would be a pretty big game, so I'm not sure when that will be. Thank you for the awesome feedback!

I ended up just kiting around enemies into each other and then vulturing the experience when one of them died hahaha I had a lot of fun :) and I loved the character creator. Nice work!

It took me a bit to get used to it, but once I did, I was pretty locked in. Amazing job with the tutorial and I really liked the way you made level unlocks through the shop. This was really impressive :)

Really charming game :) I think adding some sound control would help, since those robots were super loud haha but overall great entry! Congrats on your first game jam!

Really charming and great camera work :) That's extremely impressive in 12 hours. Nice job!

You did a fantastic job with the UI and audio :) really enjoyable gameplay experience overall and it feels like there's a lot you can do with the concept. Well done!

Very cool :) reminded me of playing Commander Keen on DOS. You did a fantastic job with level design and I loved the way you did that cube flip scene transition. Really, beautiful and well-made game!

Thank you! Our main reference for this game was streets of rage 2, which has a pretty slow pace (he's kind of a faster Max), but I can definitely see how speeding it up would make it more fun. We wanted to add a frenzy mode when you hit a high enough combo, but we just ran out of time.

Fun game and cool style :) It looked like the experience started despawning at one point which made it tough to progress. Not sure if that was intentional or not. Nice job though!

This game was excellent. Played to the end and could have played a lot more :)

Fun game and the mechanics were really intuitive :)

Awesome job on the art and audio :) the sound of the swipe and roll was super satisfying. Well done!

I think I agree it would have been nice to accelerate the dialogue, but great job on the animations :) I like the idea of find clues in a dark maze. Congrats on your first game jam!

Great animations :) I was able to beat it (just barely) on my first try, so I think the difficulty level was well-tuned. Fun game and congrats on your first game jam!

I really loved the look and vibe of this :) I have to admit that it was very hard for me hahaha those jumping skeletons! With a bit of tweaking (like the jump distances, as others have said) I think this can be a really great world. Also, the split and sword animations were very satisfying. Awesome job!

Thank you so much!!!! I'm so glad you liked it :) we were really proud of how it came out. It would be really fun to expand this world, hopefully we can think of more to add!

Fun, immersive experience :) I loved the whole vibe - everything went well together. Great job!

Really cool world! I felt like I was a toy in a Playmobil set. The best thing you can do when you're low on time is to add personality and make it a fun experience, which it was :) Well done!

Judging from the thumbnail, I thought it would be kind of a standard "catch falling objects" game but adding the pegs made it so much more fun :) Very cute art and easy to jump into. It was a little disappointing the song cut out cause I was into it :) Great job!

This feels like a game that if I played it too much, I would start seeing it when I closed my eyes, like tetris hahaha and I love how happy the shovel is doing this :) Very cute, fun, and exciting game!

Fun game :) I felt like I was killing all the enemies every level (well, until I died) and getting the maximum amount of money every level. I think it might be more satisfying if they got away half the time, so when I killed most or all of them, the shop felt a little more earned. Just a suggestion!

Overall, it felt really nice to play and I loved the different versions of the ship. Awesome job!

That was a really satisfying way to control the meteor :) Congrats on your first game jam!
