Very clever puzzle game, had fun finding my way out !

Maybe the music is a bit too repetitive but not a big deal.

Congrats !

Great! I think you managed to introduce an interesting variety, even if it is a relatively brief game.

Good luck with learning 3D! If you were able to come up with this game at the beginning of your journey (on top of that:  within a brief period!), I am looking forward to your future games! :)

I liked it! I see we had the same "learn 3D" approach. Game is cozy with a kind of simple yet effective puzzle. I'm not sure how and if it was adjustable but my ray started to angle upwards from the initial room and I ended up not using all the mirrors.

Turning the reflection into such a clever mechanic is brilliant, and with the addition of small mechanical elements like mirror pieces and frozen keys, it has become an incredibly good game.
With the background music and modeling, it's one of Jam's top games that everyone can enjoy playing.

really like this concept - reminds me of the crimson room. unfortunately i couldn't make it to the end - in one playthrough i got stuck behind the boxes in the locked room and couldn't get back out. in another i was trying to place a mirror and it noclipped through the floor and i couldn't get it back. i'll definitely try it again later though - love the vibes :D

Nice game! Loved the creative reflection mechanic (though I admit I got stuck and couldn’t find the gas, might have missed something). Still very cool to explore the house and liked the music. Congrats on your first 3D game!

sorry, there is no gas! It was just written in so people didn't think they could melt the key or door with fire,  my bad!

Submitted(+1)

Ohh that makes sense! I’d have to melt the key with sunlight then ahaha. For some reason finding it in the fridge made me want to cook/melt it on the stove x3

A short but very well done game! the "repair mirror" mechanic gave me motivation to move around and look in different spots, which is always great.

This is a very cool escape room. I had much fun, and the enviro feels very cozy.

Fun puzzle game ✨

Hey this was a lot of fun! I really enjoy a good puzzle game and this is really well made for a weekend jam. Great job!

I escaped! Nicely done on this little 3D game, I like the reflection mechanic and the music. I was able to complete the game without using the shattered mirror however (I don't know if that was intentional or not) but I didn't mind fussing with the mirrors I had to accomplish the goal.

I really like it

Congrats on your first 3D game! This was a fun little puzzle--like some others I was able to solve it without using any of the mirrors in the living room area :)

I thought the reflection mechanic was a cool idea and was pretty well executed. The one issue I ran into was that sometimes the mirrors would move slightly from where you had them when you clicked to position them, making it a little tricky to get the beam of light out of the bedroom.

Fun concept that I could see being interesting for additional puzzles. Nicely done!

p.s. you should totally add a jump button lol

I've managed to get out! Not sure if you intendeed to use all mirrors, but I didn't find the last piece of the broken mirror and ended up completing the level without it. Not sure if this was intendeed, but you made me feel like I broke your expected outcome :D . Congratulations on testing and completing a 3D project!

Developer

I think you can do it with just 3 mirrors. I placed more just in case. Glad you worked out your own solution!

Submitted

Well, there you go. Making me feel dumb now and wanting to go back and resolve it with 3. Well done :P

I was amazed by the mechanic you used to look for mirrors in the game; it's so successful and beautiful. It's a bit of a winning game, but I finished it four times, trying to complete it in different ways. It's a great game. I'd be very happy if you took a look at our game too :3

Great idea and a lot of fun solving the puzzle. Nailed the theme. The mirror/light ray mechanic was done really well, and the puzzle itself and level design was well thought out.

I really enjoyed the visuals of the game. The mirror puzzles are quite interesting, but the mirror rotation could use a smoother rotation so the angles could be adjusted more precisely. But I really enjoyed this game!

Developer

I think that would change the game a lot, having them set at 15 degree intervals cut down on some of the potential cheese and also ensured you couldn't totally screw yourself over.

I don't think I've ever seen a light mirror game in 3D before, so it was very neat! Seems to have some bugs though, and I don't know if it was intended, but I was able to complete it with only 3 mirrors. Enjoyable regardless, and a nice way to shake up the light reflection games!

Developer

oh yeah it's definitely cheesable, well done for just using 3!
