How does the game fit the theme?
i mean the theme is strange places and the whole game is literally the weirdest place most people visit every single night but never pay attention to. the stuff you see when you close your eyes for long enough yk? it happens to everyone, but turning it into a game environment with its own emotions feels strange and brain scratching in the best way.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
none. everything was made procedurally in lua by me :), every procedural shape every shitty little particle, sfx, palette shifts, even the garbage typing sound for text. no ripped sprites or snippets

Theme implementation was super creative. I wish the game was a little more challenging though, and I also wish there was an option to mess with the volume settings. Great work though!

Lmao I sent this comment in on accident, I sent the complete one just now xD

Relatable and nice with a different take on the theme! Nice visuals as well, even though a little hard to read at times.

The visuals are super original and cool looking (although there are readability issues). Great take on the theme too. Extremely original.

On the bad side, the audio destroyed my ears, I had to put the volume to a minimum...

10/10 this is just insane (in a good way)

Great game overall. I enjoyed the gameplay, visuals were well made, the audio though was kind of annoying. I understand the vision, but it was more annoying than enjoyable, I must say. Other than that, good stuff! Especially for solo work

Feels like I am trying to connect to internet with my phone back in the stone age

Super interesting take on the strange places, the graphics look great for the most part but some of the color choices make the text hard to read but its just a nitpick, well done!

Very nice game, with a nice message! As many others said, the audio can be a bit too loud at times, but other than that, I really enjoyed it

Very unique and beautiful. The narration is great too. The gameplay loop felt a bit lacking. Audio had good tones but was way too high pitch and quite annoying at times.

This is the weirdest game I've ever played in a good way. Its insane that you've made everything procedurally in lua, I have only respect for you as a programmer! You made me genuinely curious how to make these things, if you have any resource that you've read /watched for making them and you could share them, much appreciated!

Love the visual overload

Uh a TIC-80 game :D so inspiring!

This was really peaceful towards the end and I love the colours and art 🤩 those negative thoughts won't get to me 🥱

LOVE the theming, and you managed to capture the perfect colors and patterns of that place! The contrast between game objects and the background is a little tough sometimes, but I think overall it added to the experience :) This was cool!

It's quite creative, I really enjoyed it! But the sounds are a bit loud for my taste, everything else is very well done!

Great visuals, very strange as demanded. It's a bit hard to understand what we need but the real downside is the sound.

Great work overall !

Great visuals and presentation. I did notice that the music bugged out when the game restarts, so the last key keeps ringing forever (yikes :D)

The art and color is fascinating and fun to just sit in. I found the audio a bit too much for me, and the font/text color makes it a bit hard to read with how busy the screen is. Really fun experience though
