Awesome initiative! you can play our game here: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4304774

I love the chess inspiration for the movements in the field! couldn't get too far into the game after the second battle but I thoroughly enjoyed my short time with it. Great work you guys

hahahaha good call, we don't collect emails for the same reason lol. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Strange places indeed. I left the game wanting more and I say this as a compliment! Loved the aesthetic of the game and definitely you got across the feeling of this dying world in need of some kindness.

I'm happy to carry the sappling and the honey close to my heart if that means making someone happy too. Thanks for making this game.

Thanks for playing dude!

you can pet the cat! check the credits  😉👉👉

No problem! English isn't mine either and I get it. The important part is that the message comes across.

TBH not to toot our own's horn but using Nakama made it so much easier to implement those online features specially for being an open source project, I highly recommend it!

Omg you made all of this in a week?! hell yeah! what a well done and polished experience.

I felt honestly bad when I got the leave ending but a choice had to be made T_T. Loved the writing and all the invisible systems you guys made. Great job!

What a great set of puzzles, they are simple but require you to think outside the box to solve them.

The story is a bit wordy sometimes and the english grammar can be better but there's nothing stopping this game being great.

Loved it!

Loved the vibes of this game, it felt very oniric and surreal. What a lovely experience!

What a treat of a game! Expert execution with some of the most whimsy art I've seen in a while.

Bro don't even start, you made cotton candy Cuphead! <3 I n s a n e ! (Thanks for playing!)

Absolutely loved this game!
Here's mine:

I loved this game, the color palette is exactly the opposite from mine hahaha
Very pink very cute but I love the implied violence in the dialogues, the gameplay feels very polished and the player feedback is absolutely on point.

Give Pocketboudn a try!

Loved this one! the vibes were on  point!😘👌

Amazing work on the art department!. I love how what you saw on the windows lets you kinda know what is going on inside. Very well made!

Will do for sure! thank you for noticing :D

More rates wouldn't hurt! check out our game here:

This was great! there's a bunch of systems here at play, I'm surprised you were able to add so much :D.

one of the most addicting game loops I've played so far! A lot of depth with the items on the store makes this a very interesting game. I would pay for a full version, good job team!

Thanks! we were going for a Game Boy aesthetic and limited us to use only 4 colors.

All the backend was made much easier using Nakama, it saved us so much time you have no idea.

Thank you! we spent a lot of time getting this to work like it should. Playtesting early helped us catch the little UX problems from the beginning and orient our polish tasks. And yes we're all humans hahaha, if anything my cat also helped as emotional support.

I didn't thought I was going to end my day surfing inside someone's veins! I love the concept and the execution is well done, a bit of a tutorial at the beginning would definitely help understand the  heartbeats mechanic.

tight scope! very cool game I can see myself lost for hours here

thank you for playing! I’m glad you liked it

thanks! :D

Yeah we're having issues with the scaling in fullscreen :C

Super interesting take on the strange places, the graphics look great for the most part but some of the color choices make the text hard to read but its just a nitpick, well done!

Nicely done! a metroidvania is very ambitious for a game jam game so congrats for taking the risk!

Nice execution! I love the aesthetics of the game and the gameplay feels solid. One piece of feedback is to reduce the shake on the text boxes, or just shaking the speech bubble and not the text because it makes it a bit difficult to read.

Loved the artstyle! some puzzles can be a bit tricky but I was able to go through. Great job!

We found another issue, if the game opens up in another window it can affect the input. We suggest in that case that you resize the window to cover the game and it should work then. Let me know!

That's fair! I've been thinking about it too but considering we're counting the amount of slides the player make I wanted to keep it to avoid miss clicks. Maybe for a post jam version we can try a hold and release to confirm.

Are you using firefox? we just added a fix for that browser, can you give it a try again?
If that doesn't work you can always download the PC or Mac version.

The game is up now! check it out :D

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it
