Never in my life have I felt so incomepentet at giving out drinks xD.  Jokes aside this game is really great. Funny that  at the start of this jam, I also had the idea about a train driving through diffrent strange places with interesting passengers. But I scratched the idea. Now I am even more happy to see someone making such a nice game about it.

Visuals are excellent, animations top and gameplay is fine. And the story of course is top.

amazing everything aside, this might be my sign to not be a bartender

Wow! You guys made this in a week? That is wild! This must be one of the best games i played from this game jam. The atmosphere, graphics, gameplay, environmental design, story and dialogue and audio all were awesome and on point! I really cant say more. I really liked this game. Good job and well done you guys!

This is really impressive! It starts super casually and picks up pace really quickly. Once after the beer guy did I fully understand what's going on. I loved the visuals, audio, and the story is really well thought of. Amazing work in all aspects!

Amazing camera work, entire game felt  like a cinematic in ps1-ps2ish art style with great atmosphere, compliments your unique mechanic & take on the theme. The (drunk) progression & message in the end was beautiful. After the credit screen came I went back in the train and I was somehow able to interact with a few passengers who said they didn't want a drink, did I discover an easter egg? :3

Few nitpicks:
- The train track became repetitive after some time, could add some randomization to it
- If there are non obvious controls the game could subtly explain it, eg: space for dialogue switch

Attaching 2 bugs I discovered (both game me jumpscare xD):
- Screen turns cinematically dim if I do fullscreen & back
- 2 faced people

Solid entry nevertheless, cheers!

i like pouring drinks

Super cool concept! It was pretty funny when I realized my glass arm kept going lower and lower and at some point my drink was upside down haha. I liked your use of camera angles in the conversations which added to the strangeness. Great work!

This was a really great and immersive experience!

The gameplay was original and fun, not too easy and not too hard, really enjoyed it (on the later sections it was much more challenging, but very fair in my opinion).  And the graphics and sound contribute in immersing you in the stressful setting perfectly! I also love the old-style graphics, as they are consistent and contribute to the feeling of unease, like replaying an old game who scared you in your childhood.

And I loved the ending.

The scenes outside the train windows were very cool, the pouring drink mechanic was funny, and the narrative was cool! Good job!

I love how silly pouring drinks is :3 I feel like this would transform really well into like a vr game lowk. Narratively, it feels like the character is like somehow mourning the loss of themselves through a soulless job or something and then gameplays like "mario party drink pour ha ha funny" :sob: crazy dissonance, good work!

Incredible narrative setup with that loop which translate super well the intention. Congrats really !
We have a kind of similar approach but in 2D, feel free to test our game ! :)

What the hell did I just play?

The retro style visuals are incredible, and the narrative and cinematics are really well done. Super cool experience.

absolutely loved this. I had to look to see what the control was for continuing dialogue. itd be a nice add in to have that right on the screen when you enter dialogue. was laughing out loud trying to pour my drinks as they all slowly tipped over and spilled out. LOVED this. fantastic work

Truly, these are the gems you only get from jams like this. Your idea was lovely. Put a smile on my face when I poured my first cup and got half of it on the floor like momma. Your execution was fantastic. The mood, the vibe, the cinematic framing. Very well done. I enjoyed this short and sweet experience immensely.

I really enjoyed the pairing of the goofy hand mechanics and the cinematic story and camera angles.  I had a great experience, congrats on the game!

What a cute little game, I was expecting something horror like but I was surprised. The story of the characters are really cute.

Gameplay wise I wise there where a little bit more variety in how the pour mechanic is used, but I get that this is not the main focus of the game.

Really great job, very cool and short expierence :)

thanks so much! Yeah were planning on developing it further, and added in more elaborate and complex pouring mechanism later on. Unfortunately for this game the time constraint had us cut some ideas out

Submitted(+1)

Yeah, I feel you :D but I think that is normal for a game jam that many ideas get cut in the end because of time limitation :)

This game was hilarious. I had a lot of fun pouring the drinks. At one point my cup was upside down and it was really funny pouring it. I also liked the little stories every now and then and the cinematics was really nice. Nice work!
