Woowies! This is a interesting and unique game idea! I really like the graphics, sound effects and music as well as the story of this game!Especially the graphics they are awesome! Good job

I really liked the post processing you did it looks awesome with the pixel art. For some reason my audio got bugged after clicking a level and i only heard the footsteps. Cool Game and atmosphere!

I really liked the pixelart style and progression of this game. My only feedback is that the background and sprite pixel ratio is the same. Really cool game. Good job!

I really liked the atmosphere and the controls and overall vibe. When i had to get the strange package my vehicle got bugged in the wall and i could not move :/

Overall really nice and incredible that this  was made by one person in such a short time. Good job!

Wow! This game is so clean and polished for being made in a week. For one I really liked the animations, the simple gameplay, the color pallet. The idea of flipping coin being shaking an in game window is very innovative. The gameplay is simple and fun and due to the roguelike elements has a lot of replayablity potential. My only little issue is that in the animations the pixels were not as sharp and seem ed blurred. Overall great experience!

The graphics and color pallet used is very cool! I think some kind of tutorial or explanation in the start would have been really helpful. The environment and enemies have really good simple but effective design. Good job!

I really liked the atmosphere and ambience of this game. The overall look and art style is awesome! Also the small the details like pinecones in the trees, the animated wind and when running also after while the character becoming out of breath. I noticed when not interacting with something and clicking left mouse click that you are unable to look around. Great job!

I really enjoyed playing the little minigames when fighting against opponents. Also the hover animations of the possible choices a player can make in combat was really clean and cool.

I really like the concept and artstyle. But I had problems understanding what to do in the game, as well is the music quite shrill.

Really innovative and cool idea with the "Check Your Fate"!!! I really enjoyed playing this game. Good job!

Great game and such a simple but interesting concept of following a levitating orb as a goal. I sadly did not manage to play through the entire game, but i finished the parkour part. That was quite frustrating because some of my jumps would count as me sticking to the platform not allowing me to jump anymore. I really liked the atmosphere and world design. I would love to play it again after the game jam. Good job!

The pixel artstyle is very cute and fitting to the game. I have some small feedback for you. The text in the start was overwhelming, better would have been to show it line by line. A short tutorial to show the controls would have helped out a lot. I did not know how long i had to do the chores, maybe a timer would be good. But overall I enjoyed this and hope this helps you.

Wow! You guys made this in a week? That is wild! This must be one of the best games i played from this game jam. The atmosphere, graphics, gameplay, environmental design, story and dialogue and audio all were awesome and on point! I really cant say more. I really liked this game. Good job and well done you guys!

I really liked the mechanic of finding and lighting candles with my flashlight and the overall vibe of the game. It is a bit short and I don't know if I found all the candles. Some kind of feedback if i won or see how many i am missing would mayorly help imo. Music and sound effects would also greatly help. I played the web version and encountered visual glitches sometimes when walking around. Hope this helps!

I really like the direction and concept of this game. Not only am I a big fan of The Beginners Guide but i really enjoyed this short but very unique experience. I think it does fit the theme "Strange Place" quite well. I really enjoyed the different segments/areas and have to say good job! Definitely a lot of work was put into this project. I do have some small issues if you plan on fixing/updating the game after the game jam. For one in the construction level there was an area where to objects intersected and as a result there was a visual glitch. In that level as well when you walk up the ramp it is super slow. I don't know if that was intentional or not but compared to rest movement it seemed out of place. in the start first level you see the shadow of the player capsule. And my biggest issue was the distortion in the maze level, which as a result was hard to play without getting nauseous. I really enjoyed the voice acting! Well done!!! Overall really good game jam game. I had fun playing it!

I really enjoyed the overall vibe and visuals of this game! The chosen colors (overall green and red for death screen) do fit really well and are pleasing to look at. Every run is unique with different map layout and characters, etc. makes the game replayable. I had fun playing, good job! Man i really liked the art style xD

really cool art style. I really like the colors you used and also the dithering in your artwork. The atmosphere is strange. Me opening all the bathroom doors is really strange...

I like this :)

fun and cool concept with nice graphics and intense sound. pretty disgusting teeth that person has.

Good job!

I really had fun playing this and trying to beat my own record! The music and atmosphere of the levels are really unique and the little main character dude is well animated! Good job

First of I really like this game, the art style and the story it is telling. It was not really clear for me that i will be stuck there forever. I have two smaller issues. The music loop transition is not as clean and I kind of had problems following who is who and who is talking at the moment. Maybe you could fix that by animation one frame of the mouth or making character bigger or in frame more. But otherwise a really good jam game! Good job!

really cool style with clean color pallet. The music and sound effects were very fitting. The gameplay is fun but gets a bit repetitive after a while. I would also very much liked to see my current score.

The graphics are really great! Good job!

My gosh wow!!! This is incredible!

I really liked the pixel art, it is super clean and cohesive! The atmosphere is eerie and would have liked to play more and see how the story would continue. Overall this is a short clean and satisfying experience.

I really like the graphics and music and colors used. But when i played it i got stuck in the upper right corner when collecting orbs. There is one bugged one in the wall up there. Another feedback i can give is to try to make the movement smoother. But other than that it is really cool!

Wow I really really liked this game. It was so quick over :( Like I was in flow of figuring out how to correctly position the furniture. The art is clean and sweet. The gameplay is very fun. I really enjoyed it. And the music is so relaxing and cozy. I really had a blast with this one. Please add more levels :0

Dude i really really liked this short game of yours. It is impressive that this is your first completed game! Awesome man! I really liked the atmosphere, story and style you were going with! My fav area is that last one, it just has some kind of special feeling to it I cant really describe.

Good job!

I have to agree with carmux a tutorial or some kind of introduction would have helped a lot. Overwise the atmosphere music and graphics worked really good.

Well this reminds me of L...imbo haha. No but seriously well done i really like the atmosphere and the audio at the start. And the artstyle is really atmospheric as well. Good job!

I really had fun playing your game. The artstyle is clean and polished. I really like all the different recruitable characters and them being all unique in abilities. I also liked the background blending into your itch page bg. Really cool and fun game!

I really liked the pixel art + old retro effect. It really nice and polished! And the art is very clean.

Well done!

I really liked the art and audio and entire feel of the game! Well done! My only feedback is in the tutorial I think it would be good to show the attack with Z before or when attacking gets introduced and not afterwards.

Otherwise really well done!

Please just like @amethyscent i beg you to not pull yourself so down.
I think the act of making something even with less time and still publishing it is really great!

I saw your anomaly game and had to play it because I'm a big fan of those types of games. Very solid game! I did not have as many anomalies in my run. Would love to see more.

It think showing the room I am on right now would help with seeing how far I am progress wise in the game.

Good job!
