really cool art style. I really like the colors you used and also the dithering in your artwork. The atmosphere is strange. Me opening all the bathroom doors is really strange...

I like this :)

fun and cool concept with nice graphics and intense sound. pretty disgusting teeth that person has.

Good job!

I really had fun playing this and trying to beat my own record! The music and atmosphere of the levels are really unique and the little main character dude is well animated! Good job

First of I really like this game, the art style and the story it is telling. It was not really clear for me that i will be stuck there forever. I have two smaller issues. The music loop transition is not as clean and I kind of had problems following who is who and who is talking at the moment. Maybe you could fix that by animation one frame of the mouth or making character bigger or in frame more. But otherwise a really good jam game! Good job!

really cool style with clean color pallet. The music and sound effects were very fitting. The gameplay is fun but gets a bit repetitive after a while. I would also very much liked to see my current score.

The graphics are really great! Good job!

My gosh wow!!! This is incredible!

I really liked the pixel art, it is super clean and cohesive! The atmosphere is eerie and would have liked to play more and see how the story would continue. Overall this is a short clean and satisfying experience.

I really like the graphics and music and colors used. But when i played it i got stuck in the upper right corner when collecting orbs. There is one bugged one in the wall up there. Another feedback i can give is to try to make the movement smoother. But other than that it is really cool!

I will try out your game and give you feedback as well hope it helps :

Wow I really really liked this game. It was so quick over :( Like I was in flow of figuring out how to correctly position the furniture. The art is clean and sweet. The gameplay is very fun. I really enjoyed it. And the music is so relaxing and cozy. I really had a blast with this one. Please add more levels :0

Dude i really really liked this short game of yours. It is impressive that this is your first completed game! Awesome man! I really liked the atmosphere, story and style you were going with! My fav area is that last one, it just has some kind of special feeling to it I cant really describe.

Good job!

I have to agree with carmux a tutorial or some kind of introduction would have helped a lot. Overwise the atmosphere music and graphics worked really good.

Well this reminds me of L...imbo haha. No but seriously well done i really like the atmosphere and the audio at the start. And the artstyle is really atmospheric as well. Good job!

I really had fun playing your game. The artstyle is clean and polished. I really like all the different recruitable characters and them being all unique in abilities. I also liked the background blending into your itch page bg. Really cool and fun game!

I really liked the pixel art + old retro effect. It really nice and polished! And the art is very clean.

Well done!

I really liked the art and audio and entire feel of the game! Well done! My only feedback is in the tutorial I think it would be good to show the attack with Z before or when attacking gets introduced and not afterwards.

Otherwise really well done!

Please just like @amethyscent i beg you to not pull yourself so down.
I think the act of making something even with less time and still publishing it is really great!

I saw your anomaly game and had to play it because I'm a big fan of those types of games. Very solid game! I did not have as many anomalies in my run. Would love to see more.

It think showing the room I am on right now would help with seeing how far I am progress wise in the game.

Good job!

Hey there I just got done playing your game and i really liked it even if i don't play that many deck building games. I Must say it was fun. Firstly I have to say the main menu is gorgeous and i really like it with the perspective, colors and everything. I like the pixel art and realistic drawn BGs it looks good together.

But i also had some issues while playing. Due to my lack in deck building I noticed it would be good to show in the start what to do and what each icon is or even a hover option over them would help a ton.

Also did I come across this:

I played till volcano area and it generally was not as hard for me. Generally rather try to make a polished shorter experience then longer one.

Regardless of all things i really had fun playing. I hope my feedback helps you and good job!!!

(1 edit)

I really liked the art in this game and have to say the cover art is gorgeous, so beautiful!!

I played the first section I believe. I had some problems understanding what to do and got stuck a long time with connecting the stars. I think given the player feedback what to do and when he is not doing the thing intended even if textboxes could help a lot.

And I am not sure if this was intended like this just wanted to let you know:

The story and atmosphere are really great. Hope I could help :)

Hey i just got done playing all 3 levels of your game and must say i really had fun playing. The sound effects you made via mouth sounds is one of my favorite things, just gives it unique and special touch. The graphics are simpler stylized and have a really nice look with the chosen color pallet. I really like them. The detail of eyes looking towards the player i also thought was cool! The little people animations and actions were very sweet and expressive. My only issue is that i cant see my score while playing. Another thought if you plan on working more on the game, which i think you really should, is maybe there are items in the game that have an affect on throwing or collecting of little dudes in some way. Great job!

oh nice i will play and rate your game.

I really like the sound design especially the music and feeling at  the start of the game. The artwork as well there is really cool!!!

I had some problems figuring out what my goal was in game and at the start, as well as the buttons and what i should be doing, maybe say what my goal is at the start and short guide how to play the "board" game. The popup messages with key buttons helped a lot.

I think the artstyle and font is pretty! Sound effects and Music is missing and think would really up the game!
As well as some more challenge the player has to deal with while delivering the package.

Good job and i hope i could help!

I really like the stylized artsyle and environment in your game. Reminds me of 3Ds games + The Nighmare Before Christmas (1993)  movie. But also the characters assets like trees, the bridge and fluid with their textures help so much in addition to a aesthetical color pallet. Very nicely done! My only issue is that mechanically it is a bit simple. As soon as you figure out the timing you beat all the enemies. And i don't know if it was a bug for me but the different difficulties gave me always the same amount of gold per kill.

Overall i really liked it a lot would love to see more different maps :0

First of i really liked this game!

The fish are really nicely designed and moving the camera via panning is really fluid.

My only issues are when i open the fishdex and click on arrows the character everytime makes a photo in the game and this next one is little but would really improve your game, which is the player pixel design and background pixel ratio do not match, they should be the same to make it look more together.

I really like it that you look and take photos of fish and slowly see your dex get filled out as well as i think it motivates to finding all the fish. Good Job!

Hey first of i like the voice acting and artistic direction you went in with the bugs. And i really enjoyed you making a short tutorial that really helped. The mechanic of putting the bugs in areas falls of a bit in my opinion. i would have liked to do more with the bugs or that the more bugs i have collected in the game would have direct impact on the world (like reducing the bugs in world the more i collected them). Just some ideas, i think it has a lot of potential! But overall i liked it and you guys did a good job!

That is really cool idea. I will check your game out! Here is our short mystery game. Looking forward to what you think about it :)

Vielen Dank dir! Das bedeutet uns viel.

I am kinda lost. I like the idea but i am not really sure what to do exactly, think it would be good to have more of a guide or tutorialization in the beginning. I think that would gladly help.

I enjoyed playing the game and think the overall concept of upgrading your cube everytime it dies making it stronger is a neat concept. But maybe it would have been better to upgrade while in gameplay or upgrade something to make the area of clicking bigger or different enemy types just as some ideas. I also understand the game jam duration was shorter. Overall very enjoyable and fun game.

Thank you very much :)
