lemme just say (and i hope i’m talking abt the right game) but seeing this project evolve to this scale from the first day of the jam until the end of submissions was absolutely impeccable (did i use that word right?) this game looks AMAZING

the movement feels so natural and fluid! and I really like the opaque paint-ish visual style too. It was a bit difficult but as of a rare sum of things I do I managed to mostly complete it
i saw someone say this is similar in roots to celeste and that rlly just made me want to pick up that game even more! :D
this reminded me of those old nes point and click games like deja vu. don’t quite know why since they’re pretty different, thats just what my mind went to.
oh yeah and uh i loved the game, rlly liked that free will aspect of what you do with ur items and them having an effect in the future (maybe that’s why my mind went to deja vu)
oh and in the meantime here’s mine (cultural diffusion): https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4297589
I couldve sworn that was the name of a previous jam…
Anywho, here’s mine. Didn’t get as much time as I thought i would’ve since it is break but I’m proud of what I managed to conjure up! https://fardboi123.itch.io/dog-in-giggleland
The game I’m making is practically done, albeit some small things left to tweak, and most of the sound effects and music in the game aren’t actually my work and are just slightly edited by me. The sound effects I’m not worried about bcuz those can easily be credited. However, I did use a track from Plok, and the title screen music is apparently owned by a specific company, but I can’t retrace the music or the company anywhere (i got it from a random youtube video a couple of years back)
I was just wondering if, besides crediting the makers of the two tracks, do I have to do anything else? I ain’t too familiar with copyright and both of the titles in which these things came from are quite old now.
