How does the game fit the theme?
The game follow somebody that is trapped in a strange room. Each time he tries to leave by the door, he come back at his start point. But the room has changed...
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Made the game from scratch. As it is my first ever one.
I used assets from itch.io for my player animations.

The visual style was pretty cool, and I really enjoyed the level transition light flicker effect. For this being your first game, I'm extremely impressed with getting this much done within the given time. The only critiques I would have in terms of game design are to have some sort of visual indicators to make climbable surfaces stand out, or maybe using more common climbable objects like a ladder. Aside from that, I noticed the jump animation also doesn't end when you touch the ground, but I haven't tried the download version, so I don't know if it's different there. Also, the final puzzle felt a bit out of place, considering how the rest of the game expands on the puzzle mechanics of the levels before. So, I feel like it would've made more sense to end on the second last puzzle, where everything introduced in the game was used. Although with the amount of time we had in the jam, it's a bit harder to focus on level design. Overall, the atmosphere was great and brought together an interesting concept story-wise.
The game is well polished and the character animations looks good even with a black siluette which is not easy to do.
I liked the concept and would have loved more levels, the horror part was introduced with the phone call and would like to know how it evolves.
Well done as a first jammer!
I love the art style and the concept, it looks really polished visually and the vibe is great. Gameplay-wise sometimes it feels very difficult to realize what you can interact with and how.
Very nice atmosphere. I love the animation. It's very fluent. It's also really fun. Love the Game!
I like the overall visual and the atmosphere. The puzzles are also fun. Great work :)
Dang, for a first game not too shabby. Could easily expand this. Reminds me of old flash games.
Great work!
Congrats on finishing your first game AND doing it in a jam!
I liked the concept of the room changing every time you go through the door. The little puzzle variations (moving the box, climbing the bookshelves, etc.) kept it from feeling too repetitive. The last bookshelf was a nice one. The atmosphere was probably my favorite part. It had a slightly creepy, trapped feeling. The aesthetics in general all look good.
If I had a small suggestion, I'd maybe streamline the interaction a bit. Having both a click and a separate interact button felt a little overlapping; I wasn't sure which one I should be using. It might be smoother if it were just one or the other. But that's a small thing.
For a first finished project, this is awesome. You should definitely keep it up!
Hey! thank you so much for your feedback! I'll keep your suggestion in ming for my next projects :p
That was a nice game. I liked horror and the puzzles. Took me a bit to get you could climb the bookshelf. Liked how the character looked. Even though its just 1 place it truly felt they were diferent. Simple, quick i was there and enjoyed it!
Love the puzzle‑solving — it’s pretty cool. Easily one of my favorites. Great work.
Good work! A fitting soundtrack would elevate the experience a lot. Solid first game, would continue playing to know more about this strange situation.
The art style was great. I really liked the eerie/creepy atmosphere.
I really loved the pixel art and sfx, great job!
I really liked the pixel art, it is super clean and cohesive! The atmosphere is eerie and would have liked to play more and see how the story would continue. Overall this is a short clean and satisfying experience.
Wow, the art and animation are top-notch, and special respect for the lighting. I would polish the jump a bit, because there are moments where it’s hard to land properly.
Overall, congratulations on finishing the game
Thank you!
Woah! Rarely I see games with such beautiful and consistent pixel art as here. You have my respect!
Gameplay wise, my only big concern is the jumps precision that is required to reach wardrobe from a bookcase. Would be nice to move them slightly closer.
Good job overall, and incredible job for a first game jam submission!
Thank you so much! Yeah, I had fun making this jump difficult 😈
Through and through awesome! Really enjoyed this one.
Thank you so much!! 🫶
what do I do in this level?
You finished the game! It could be more explicit indeed 🥲
the animation was spectacular! i really like the style of this game and the subtle theming. well done!
Thank you! 🫶
The art is really awesome, I love it! I just miss a little bit of an ambience soundtrack, at least, but the concept came out really good!
Thank you! I agree with he soundtrack point, I'll keep that in mind for the next game 🫶
I really really enjoy the game but i can't seem to click on the key on one of the levels: the one with the book! But i could just be missing something :/
Anyway love the whole atmosphere and the graphics!!
Yes I got some feedbacks telling me that there was missing an indicator to see if the door is open or not. The level with the book simply open the door when you put the book on the shelf. (It was the last level 🤪) Thank you for playing! 🫶
