I'm amazed by the Moebius-like aesthetic! The gameplay features are solid delivering this (bitter-)sweet story.

Thanks so much! :)

That was insanely trippy! Great take on the controls. Love it.

Niiiice! I was really suprised by the amount of mini games you put in there. Each one was fun! Had a good time. :)

Would love your feedback! :)
GROW OUT

(1 edit)

So many games! It's no easy feat to play and rate as many games as possible here. Would love to get some more feedback on mine called GROW OUT.
The core idea is simple: You're a vine trapped in an underground lab and need to escape. Moving through light lets you grow while water shrinks you.

It's quite short and I spent way too much time trying to bring the vine to life with procedural mesh generation. Making it feel a bit organic as it twists and extends while moving and not being like a weird noodle was tough, but I had a blast experimenting with it.

Nice. Keep it up!

Super cool! Like everyone else here I love the colors. And a bit of tower defense is always great.

It's a love letter! A really wonderful one. I think the platforming is just right to not distract from the actual core.

Through and through awesome! Really enjoyed this one.

Such a well-crafted experience! Kudos!

Nice one. The atmo was really good and the dialogues were fun.

Shows how important audio is and how it contributes to the atmosphere. Nailed that. A bit more content/variety spread over the place and connections between villagers would elevate this a lot. Keen to see what you will make out of this.

Nice push. I'm starting tomorrow and will try to play as many as possible. Would love some feedback: GROW OUT by Dr.Zwieback

Thanks! :) Glad to hear. I have fixed a few things in the meantime, most notably the camera which was quite jittery and off in a few areas and should be much smoother now and the move direction preview marker of the vine should also work much better now and is visible in occluded areas.

Nice! This gives reminds me of Pokemon Snap on N64 back in the day. Love the concept and color palette.

Super cool! Go for it! :)
