Solid entry for this jam! Nice work. Would love to see more enemies / environments given more time. Thanks for making it.

Thanks for playing!
great job. I would make the bad guys attack a little more I never had to parry. and I would make you a little less fast, it felt like you could just run away from any bad guys.
but still great job.
Cool idea with nice graphics!
Combat needs some tweaks:
1. There is no need to parry
2. Since character stopping when it's attacking, I just choose to run, get key and exit cave, because it was much easier and simpler than fighitng.
Congrats and good luck!
Hey! I think it's quite a good start for a simple prototype. All the actions feel nice individually, but the transition betwen moving/attacking/parrying feels not so great. The parrying effect and animation are very satisfying, but the slimes don't actually posess any danger rn, so it was a bit hard for me to stop attacking them and check the parry move. I'm sorry if my feedback is a bit harsh, I just want you to become even better.
Liked the simple experience of vanquishing the slimes, good work! Cool cover art as well.
Nice dungeon aesthetic. Slime art especially is cool. Controls written on the ground at the start is a good onboarding choice.
I played several runs and found I could skip combat entirely and just run for the key. Enemies are slow enough and don't deal contact damage, so there's no pressure to fight. The parry mechanic exists but I never needed to try it. I think tightening enemy speed or adding contact damage would give the combat systems a reason to exist. I managed to get runs down to maybe 20 seconds because I think there are 2, maybe 3 possible key spawn locations.
Also the camera tracking made me a bit dizzy. A small buffer zone around the character before the camera moves might help.
Good foundation for a dungeon crawler.
The UI and visuals are solid, but sadly I couldn't really get into the combat. Since you can just walk through the enemies, I didn't feel encouraged to use the combat at all. The game for me turned into running around finding the key ignoring all enemies and running straight through the dungeon to win. It's a shame too because the combat is actually pretty fun and it's got some neat ideas. It was fun to hack away at enemies just for the fun of it, although I think the attack radius for the slimes is too small because I never once got hit by them, and I didn't quite understand the parry and never found a reason to use it.
The art and the player design are very good. It's a very good starting point for immersion. Some enemy variety which actually makes you have to use the parry would be good. But this is a solid base to build something on!
Looks promising! The art is great, and the player design is really cool. I especially like the parry animation. Well done!
I like the character art! The camera shake was a lot to handle. Realized I could just go through everything, get the key, and leave. But it's a solid base, good work!
It was quite nice, the pixel art is cute, and the music, while not amazing, it also wasn't annoying. I did not like the screenshake, I feel like it's a bit too much, maybe an option to change the screenshake amount could be nice? It's short, a cool concept that could be expanded a lot! Good job!! :D
The game was fun! I liked the UI readable and clean, it was really easy to get into the gameplay. On the bottom-right map, one building isn't connected to the rocks. Also, sometimes I just went through the slimes without getting hit. It took me around 5 minutes to complete. Good job!
