If you mean itch.io staff, they're unlikely to see your post, as explained in the rules of this category. You didn't have to make a new account just for this (the rules allow it anyway). But by the same token, no-one reading this can act on your complaint either.
In this case, please forward my comment to your "admin"!
To clarify: For a comment deemed bad, Itch can take away my right to comment, which I don't want. That's why I'm writing about a New/different Account, but what I wrote is still legitimate.
Why is there "Questions & Support" if not for people to read and react to? ...and then why do you ask for and forward the "ticket IDs" to? Because it's useless, it doesn't work, they don't respond, there's no payment! But why not? We don't want to put together a picture of what's really happening from external forums, but it's pretty clear. The explanation about activists influencing the bank is ridiculous in many ways, besides the fact that there is a solution, another bank that awaits with open arms anyone who will store money with it. So I hate it when people look at you as stupid or don't give a clear answer to a simple question. And I don't want to offend you (since you're at least answering) but what are you doing here if you can neither solve it nor answer the comment?
But if you do know the answer, please write it here. Thanks.
They won't be able to act on it without a ticket ID. Doubly so as you made a new account just to post this, so it can't be connected to a previous history. This is just an informal system we've arrived at. If it doesn't work either, then I don't know. And it's not about one bank. It's about bank card processors like Visa and Mastercard, that have a worldwide monopoly. It bypasses banks. It even bypasses PayPal and Stripe. You can't fix this so easily.
Translated to my case:
Because there is no problem with my Paypal account. It is usable (I can send and receive money). Does this mean that there is a problem with the ITCH account and it is not even your fault ?
In this case:
- You asked for the ticket numbers and tests as if our case is "progressing" completely unnecessarily while you actually have no influence on the problem?
- That suggests that the problematic account is yours and if this were the case, it is quite strange that the payment processing works when the money goes to you, but not out.
- It affects quite a few people, and from what I can see, this situation has been going on for a while (at least a year or a bit longer).
- It looks like you're just collecting the money, but you don't want to pay it out! Why don't you inform users (sellers) through official channels (by responding to properly submitted tickets in a timely manner )?
...I asked for a ticket number according to the rules of this category:
If you still need to make a topic about a Support Request, you must include your ticket ID with your message.
It's an informal system our admins came up with to try and speed up some delayed tickets. All I can do is pass it on. Yes, I've noticed all the complaints. No, I don't know what's going on, and I couldn't do anything about it anyway. The people who could answer your question don't watch this forum so they're unlikely to see your post.
Sorry you can't do anything!
I personally provided the ticket(s) number. It's up here if you scroll up a bit. Has it been forwarded? I don't know because I still haven't received any money or response. Sorry, but "I'll forward it to the admins" is not a response, there's no "speeding up" here, just further delay!
Nothing happens in 5 months!!!
I get what you're saying! It's just logically contradictory!
Initializing payment -> money arrives
(=fast)
Initiating payment -> money does not arrive -> open a ticket -> nothing happens -> open a ticket again -> nothing happens> Go to Support and ask questions -> ticket number here and there -> still nothing
(=much slower)
...and again you ask me to give you my ticket number so that you can speed things up by forwarding it to those who don't respond!
(=wait more)
...to quote a dear green friend of mine:"Do or do not, there is no try"
...Actually I'm passing on these ticket numbers to our admins, who can then talk to support and/or handle the tickets directly (I don't know how it works). That's the theory, anyway. Sorry to hear it's not helping. It's just that if you ask for support on the forum, that's the only way. If you just want to rant, okay. I can't always tell.
I don't want to "rant"! Money is a serious topic! Especially when it's in other people's hands! People live off it! Paying rent, bills, or employees. I want the money to be mine becouse it is mine! ...and it seems like I'm just running after it!
You called it "theory"? Seems not so optimistic! Does that mean you don't actually know if there's even one person who reads all the notes you send them, or if they end up in the trash?
Based on Itch's communication, it asks users for data and modify settings that do not solve the payment problem, they clearly only take pretend measures and thus mislead users based on what you wrote. On our side, the payment flow between the bank and Paypal works perfectly. My indicated problem is not unique. Based on my information, this applies to all parts of the world, The problem does not occur on the user side, but Itch communicates this to its users in in the way that they have to do things to solve it.
The shame is further deepened by the fact that, based on my knowledge, in the case of terminated accounts, the payment is made immediately?! ...so based on this, the problem is not on the bank's side, but it is quite a big contradiction that the problem is limited to payouts only, it does not affect inpays. I have already written that before, we are not fools and there is a solution, Itch just have to look for it.
Finally, I would also like to clarify that I am not a new account for "Electric Black Sheep" or "Just A Hobby", but true... our interests are the same. Please do not make a false assume!
It is not my job to help here! I am not the problem, I am asking/searching for help! My goal is to find information and a solution!
Where can I find help or an official Itch statement on what they see as the solution and when it is expected?
...Once again, I didn't assume anything or made any claims about your identity. Didn't even try to check. If you want to post from a new account, okay. And again, the way to get support is via e-mail. If you post a ticket ID, I'll notify our admins about it so they can look it up and hopefully solve your issue faster. That's all I can do. But as explained in the rules of this category, if you won't post a ticket ID, then our admins can't help you even if they happen to notice your post without my help.
