Not about you....

Sort version...

This was a pretty big mess that happened here. We reported that we had a problem but we were just told to leave because no one would pay attention to us anyway, we wouldn't get any help here. Since there are shortcomings on Itch's part, this was also discussed...tried to. From there it almost turned into a witch hunt. What is irritating to me is that members misinterpreted the facts we wrote and made statements that are not true. And this is manipulation that we should not allow and the problem with this is that we overcomplicate the simple thing that we are here for. I asked the moderator who did this several times not to do it. What ultimately blew the fuse was that I saw the moderators name as the creator of my own topic, so I reported him because someone manipulated it. (I think it was the moderator but who knows, ...sadly I can not check.) They immediately reinstated it and interestingly, the payment problem was also solved... so someone listened, we managed to draw attention and get help. Case solved. So the moderator was wrong about this too. I would have liked a simpler solution.

Ohhh... After I reported that "someone" messing with my topic and I think a simple member can not do that!?... that is not mentioned. But finaly someone listened. And yes. Communication should be better from the source to awoid these kind of situations. And you waited for a whole 15 minutes to tell me that? Thank You.

If it is solved then should be visible for others to see to know that there is hope. Since Iam not the one who closed my other topic...

I am still interested why is that trolling if it is true and it is for benefits of me and my partner? In my eyes a troll is a person who is destructive without any reason... But I had one. Ohhh.. and every software is free to download!

You changed the details of my Topic, which is important to me, especially because of the theme! But now I see "No Time To Play" as the creator!? Time stamps also changed! This is intentional manipulation, an abuse of his moderator rights. This is outrageous! I have expressed my objection to You several times. This is anything but behavior worthy of a moderator! Reported!

Edit:

Creator's name and time stamps restored less than a minute after I finished my report. Someone is working very fast!

Angry? You call him a troll in his own topic? You are part of the problem!

"It was a game and the same game was sold by a different account at a cheaper price."

What software? On whoes account? Where? I want to know specifics! Cheaper? Every software is free in his site! So I think the money is from donations!?

(1 edit)

If itch thinks it is dirty money, doesnt that make them the criminals they are working against? Or it is the software dirty and the money is clean?.. and they have the right to keep it?

I have an issue with itch and same members try to make me angry and tell it to everyone that I am... but I am not angry Paolo. Do not belive it.

....But it was sarcasm. You asked for help in a uniq way and you had the response. You should know that there is no support here, there is only time for scolding on Sundays ;)

NTTP suggested earlyer that everyone should make his own topic with his own problem. I did that.

You are welcome! Our problem is the same.

NTTP is the one I have already indicated that his/her presence is disturbing, but he/she doesn't want to understand.

False again.

I do not blame community members for the payment delay. I do not know why you even brought that up.

And I am not pushing or pulling members eighter. I do not pushing you to be here.

You got the gist.

If you don't want to, don't read it.
You don't have to agree and I didn't want to convince anyone of anything or take it out on anyone!
I have no problem with suggestions related to the topic, that's why I'm here, but I do have a problem with comments about my attitude! You can ask questions about me, but You have no right to make accusations about me! We don't know each other to draw conclusions, especially not false conclusions by poking at me and then elegantly walking away!
I'm stating facts, clearly! I'm not flatter either! I don't know which of the facts you took as an insult or an insult, but if you don't understand the gist, it's better if you leave the topic, because all your statements are nonsense that applies to ME! To accuse me of being angry and therefore unable to think?...This is why I am angry now, I take this part of the text as a provocation! Don't tell me what to do or how to do it after you upset me.

Goodbye.

Paolo! Did you dare ask for help? On Sunday?
There was only time for a little reprimand.
Incredible.

There's a lot of "random people" here with the same problem, without a solution. I'm curious about their opinions.

My employer's bank did not reject any payout request, since there was no attempt!

I know that my employer has the right to sue, but the problem still comes from the direction of Itch! AndI know he's not the problem because I can talk to him. That's the key! This attitude is missing from Itch side.
All this sounds as if Itch has the right not to communicate and not to pay, or to drag out the time as long as he wants.
Evidence? If you ask for your payout, no transfer. If you write to support, they do not answer! This is a behavior that says it all. This is all evidence!
"It's NOT a fact that it was Itch's negligence?" This is a statement! Are you defending them? If you think that legally my employer has the right to sue, (because there is a direct contract between them) then the situation is the same here,  Itch has a relationship with his bank and we have nothing to do with the bank, we don't see the bank activity! That's why we need to address the signal to Itch! How do you know that it is a FACT that it is not Itch's fault?
The time frame? Anyone could drag it out for years with this reason. And the non-communication reflects their attitude/behavior, which they support by modifying their own set of rules, which will apply to us! They modify and influence the user rules afterwards to their own benefits. Seems they exclude themselves from conflicts because it is more convenient, and thus the solution to the problem and that is creating another problem. What makes me think they would stick to the rules in the future? Availability is not a consideration from Itch? If we consider the rules so important, then they should respond or pay and not ban us from writing on the forum on such topics.
If anyone has ever been to a court hearing knows that these are all important things that are usually taken into account.
Not only do I feel it, ... I know that I am right! Or not? And if Itch can't manage his bank, at least they should burp some official explanation to the users why not, which is exactly why the forum exists elsewhere! (What? When? to expect...ect) Regarding the forum, I don't believe that they don't see it. No way! They just don't care!

Another thing: With these rules ....don't ask because there is no support.... is a joke in a forum called "Questions & Support"

It's interesting that a moderator immediately popup with rules that apply to users and always only mentions the parts where they excuses the responsibility of Itch!

My employer hasn't paid me for the work I've done for months because they haven't received the requested payment for months! (Itch support is not responding!)
I know I should be nagging my employer, but I see that he's not the problem.
I've tried elsewhere, where it was suggested that each issue should be opened in its own topic, so I'm doing this now. "Get help from the itch.io community."

Due to the above, I would like to voice a legitimate concern and ask, since I can't find another place, but I'm also curious about the opinions of the members, even in an explanatory answer.
We have a contract with Itch! This was approved by every user upon registration and is valid for both parties!
I don't see that Itch fulfill the terms of the contract on its own side. It has enough energy to limit the web interface but does not respond to support emails, it only collects the money. So they are there, they just do not acknowledge the problem and from now on I think it is intentional and if Itch does not explain the situation and does not communicate then do not be surprised if it is called a thief.
Accountability!!! This is the essence of a contract?!
Delay in payment is equal to unilateral breach of contract, right?!
After months of no response, would it be right for the dispute to go to court?!
In this case, is the party that violated the contract liable for compensation for the damage caused?!
From this I conclude that those users who did not receive their money on time would be entitled to compensation!?
All this could apply to the interest due to the delay in payment and the depreciation of the money!? (Even the value of the dollar also changes over the course of months! It is also a damage!)
I do not think that the Bank would be responsible for this, but if it is true then Itch shold forward the charge to the Bank, that is not our business not our contract!
If someone says that they are very busy, blah blah, poor people, then hire as many people as they can to perform the task they have undertaken!
Not a single official support person has been here yet, because there is no support team (a.i.?)!
Anyone who has undertaken the task out of conviction blindly believes in the good outcome of things, even though they do not receive any feedback on what they are doing!

Thank you in advance for your opinions and comments.

I hope you succeed.
If I may ask you something... Since there are several people who are waiting in vain, please let us know if your request has any results.
Thank You.

Some users waiting for months without payout or any resonse.

Btw...Read the terms. They can terminate yout topic if you bring up this issue and ask for help! I am not kidding.

Good luck.

A volunteer bullet catcher, blind, without a weapon on the front line, for free! Good for  You. At least You belive in something.

Based on Itch's communication, it asks users for data and modify settings that do not solve the payment problem, they clearly only take pretend measures and thus mislead users based on what you wrote. On our side, the payment flow between the bank and Paypal works perfectly. My indicated problem is not unique. Based on my information, this applies to all parts of the world, The problem does not occur on the user side, but Itch communicates this to its users in in the way that they have to do things to solve it.

The shame is further deepened by the fact that, based on my knowledge, in the case of terminated accounts, the payment is made immediately?! ...so based on this, the problem is not on the bank's side, but it is quite a big contradiction that the problem is limited to payouts only, it does not affect inpays. I have already written that before, we are not fools and there is a solution, Itch just have to look for it.

Finally, I would also like to clarify that I am not a new account for "Electric Black Sheep" or "Just A Hobby", but true... our interests are the same. Please do not make a false assume!

It is not my job to help here! I am not the problem, I am asking/searching for help! My goal is to find information and a solution!

Where can I find help or an official Itch statement on what they see as the solution and when it is expected?

In this case, please forward my comment to your "admin"!

To clarify: For a comment deemed bad, Itch can take away my right to comment, which I don't want. That's why I'm writing about a New/different Account, but what I wrote is still legitimate.
Why is there "Questions & Support" if not for people to read and react to? ...and then why do you ask for and forward the "ticket IDs" to? Because it's useless, it doesn't work, they don't respond, there's no payment! But why not? We don't want to put together a picture of what's really happening from external forums, but it's pretty clear. The explanation about activists influencing the bank is ridiculous in many ways, besides the fact that there is a solution, another bank that awaits with open arms anyone who will store money with it. So I hate it when people look at you as stupid or don't give a clear answer to a simple question. And I don't want to offend you (since you're at least answering) but what are you doing here if you can neither solve it nor answer the comment?

But if you do know the answer, please write it here. Thanks.

My employer hasn't paid me for the work I've done for months because they haven't received the requested payment yet!
Shame on those who are responsible for the late payments and if they make rules that we are held accountable for (because they have time for that!), but they themselves don't follow them!
By doing this, Itch is ruining people's work!
I am aware of the rules of conduct and I don't think what I write here is offensive, because it is the truth.
This is destructive behavior, I Don't let someone who "steals" other people's money teach me how to behave!
If Itch delete this comment, they will cover up the truth, take away the opportunity to defend themselves, influence public opinion for financial reasons, and this is a crime!
I take responsibility for my comment. By deleting my comment, at least there is evidence that Itch saw it, are aware of it and are still uninterested, but that will not qualify me.
In this case, there is only one thing everyone can do, which is to escape the sinking ship.
I am eagerly awaiting the reaction. We would all be better You do that here and openly!!!
