...I asked for a ticket number according to the rules of this category:

If you still need to make a topic about a Support Request, you must include your ticket ID with your message.

It's an informal system our admins came up with to try and speed up some delayed tickets. All I can do is pass it on. Yes, I've noticed all the complaints. No, I don't know what's going on, and I couldn't do anything about it anyway. The people who could answer your question don't watch this forum so they're unlikely to see your post.

Sorry you can't do anything!

I personally provided the ticket(s) number. It's up here if you scroll up a bit. Has it been forwarded? I don't know because I still haven't received any money or response. Sorry, but "I'll forward it to the admins" is not a response, there's no "speeding up" here, just further delay!

Nothing happens in 5 months!!!

Looks like I hadn't. Will fix that in a moment. Didn't see you posting a ticket ID because you replied to someone else instead of making your own topic to ask for help like we ask everyone to do.

- I opened two tickets! No answer! I continued to this (and other) threads.
- I opened my own thread (sorry for not giving my ticket number there for who knows how many times), unsuccessfully.
Somehow there is always a reason why it has not been resolved for over 5 months.

I may not understand (English is not my native language), but when you use phrases like "you speed up" and "you can't do anything" in a sentence... how do people process that?

...However they want, apparently. I said,

It's an informal system our admins came up with to try and speed up some delayed tickets.

Didn't say I'm speeding up anything. I said I can pass on the ticket ID, but can't do anything about whatever is going on.

(1 edit)

I get what you're saying! It's just logically contradictory!

Initializing payment -> money arrives
(=fast)

Initiating payment -> money does not arrive -> open a ticket -> nothing happens -> open a ticket again -> nothing happens> Go to Support and ask questions -> ticket number here and there -> still nothing
(=much slower)

...and again you ask me to give you my ticket number so that you can speed things up by forwarding it to those who don't respond!
(=wait more)

...to quote a dear green friend of mine:"Do or do not, there is no try"

...Actually I'm passing on these ticket numbers to our admins, who can then talk to support and/or handle the tickets directly (I don't know how it works). That's the theory, anyway. Sorry to hear it's not helping. It's just that if you ask for support on the forum, that's the only way. If you just want to rant, okay. I can't always tell.

I don't want to "rant"! Money is a serious topic! Especially when it's in other people's hands! People live off it! Paying rent, bills, or employees. I want the money to be mine becouse it is mine! ...and it seems like I'm just running after it!

You called it "theory"? Seems not so optimistic! Does that mean you don't actually know if there's even one person who reads all the notes you send them, or if they end up in the trash?

Our admins don't reply to my ticket notifications. I have no way of knowing. Sorry.

..and that is what i mean under running in circles!

a few thoughts:
- If the payment is blocked by the processors than how can the "admins" do something about it?!
- Regardless the payment processors, there is no relevant answer coming to our tickets (via email)! Nothing!
- I don't want to get personal, and it's probably not your fault (it's your job), but I hope they pay you well for having your back for things like this!

I was talking about the general situation with the payment processors. No idea what's holding back your payout in particular. There have been numerous complaints about delayed payments even as far as last spring. Some creators apparently did receive their payouts after several months. Others (like you) are still waiting.

P.S. Thank you for the nice words. I'm not paid to do this. I'm just a community moderator. The itch.io team is on a different continent from me. Been trying to keep information going between our admins and the community since I'm here all the time anyway. Guess it doesn't help much.

A volunteer bullet catcher, blind, without a weapon on the front line, for free! Good for  You. At least You belive in something.

seriously? dude! in this case i have the feeling that the company doesn't have a single employee! i envy your commitment, but i think you're on the wrong side! in a way you're volunteering to help with a dirty job! again: (sorry!) if it's not for the employees, then where does the money go?
