Reaaally nice even if I can't find the good objects for everyone!
What a great game! Only managed to help 1 ghost but I still had fun trying to guess!
Very good idea ! The arts are beautiful and a really good choice, Great job !
This game is such a gem π
The concept is genuinely well implemented with a bit of challenge.
All of the stories are interesting to discover and we loved to have to think outside of the box to find the perfect matches.
We achieved to find what all of the 4 characters needed but are still wondering if another one wasn't supposed to appear after the cyclop got the right items ?
Congratulations ! πβ¨
Thank you so much! <3 And well done, judging by the other comments completing the 4 was not so easy haha.
(Nope, nobody else was supposed to appear β were you maybe thinking about the ghost's fiancΓ©e?)
Thank you haha
Yes, we thought her fiancΓ©e would come to the inn after all the other customers had received what they needed.
Maybe it would be nice to implement it in a future update ? ππ
Lovely game! I wish it was a little bit more obvious what each ghost needed, but maybe I just wasn't good enough at picking up on the clues! I love what you did with the theme, and each item!
Thank you! :) And don't worry, you're not the only one, we're planning an update with better clues to make it less tricky haha
I enjoyed the writing in this game a lot. I found the first two guests order items were easy to give, but couldn't do the last two, haha.
The vibes of the game was definitely cozy and chill. The visuals are ok, I understand you made use of assets, which is fine but at the same time it having mixed pixel ratio feel a bit jarring overall. The music is also fun, but at times also felt a bit dramatic for the overall game.
Overall I enjoy this narrative game. It's rare to see one in a game jams, so good job!
Thank you for the feedback!
Yeah, we tried our best to find assets that would not clash too much, but clearly there's room for improvement!
Liked this game a lot, it was sweet and kinda mysterious. Cozy vibes are a top-notch, especially the fireplace cracking!
Thank you for the kind words!
I liked the concept of the game, it was very cute and sweet. The short bit of writing in the beginning set the mood nicely and I liked the riddles. I only got 2/4 ghosts right however since with the 2nd and the 4th one I had no idea what hints linked to objects (but maybe that's on me). I liked that every ghost had it's own unique character too. The inn was beautifully decorated. Good job! Thanks for participating in the jam!
Thank you so much for the feedback β and for organizing the jam! :)
Giving way more hints is definitely on the to-do list for an updated version, after seeing how many people were stumped by some characters! We didn't really have time for playtests outside of the technical aspects, and it shows. :') Nothing some rewriting can't fix, I hope!
I love the story and picking a meal and item for the guests. I had a bit of a hard time with some as I would forget parts of what they said, but it was still very fun and cozy to play. Great job!
Hee-Ho. Very cool cozy autumn vibes. Very nice pixel-art and music
I'm not much of a reader, but appreciate all the narrative you put into this game. Oddly, (me not being much of a reader), my submission to this jam is a word game.
Lost your words --> give it a try

Cozy narrative with a cool intro - and a fun game loop!
I did however find myself forgetting a bit of the conversation when I had to pick items and couldn't find a way to see what was spoken? So maybe a conversation log for the future (or if it exists, maybe make it a bit clearer where it is). Either way, well done!!
There is indeed no log, and I agree it may make things easier (coupled with more hints while giving out the items)! Something to think about in the future.
Thanks for the kind comment!
Peaceful and cozy. Fireplace sounds really sell this relaxing vibe. All assets work together in a cohesive way. Maybe has potential for a short-length full game. One thing that would be useful is a way to see the full dialogue history of the current customer.
Thank you for the kind words!
Yep, either that or maybe the ability (with a different layout) to look at the items while talking and not only at the end would probably help.
The thing I like the most is how all of the guests hang out in the inn, with their food, drinks and items. Great presentation overall. Good job!
Thank you very much! :)
Adorable style, easy to understand concept and sooooo cozy, best on theme for me so far, good job! <3
Thank you so much! :)
aww! This game is so great! I really love the artstyle and the theme and how the characters sit in the Inn. It's really comfy and fits the theme best from all played until now.
I think you could use a smaller or more rounded color palette though. Then it would feel a little bit more whole. But it looks awesome even now.
I would play it longer!
Thank you!!
This is very true (neither of us is much of a visual artist and it shows, haha). Taking note for the next one!
This game looks adorable, and I love the gameplay of listening and choosing what fits best for the guests. I had trouble choosing for some, and I think having them give a little hint when you get it wrong and giving you more than 2 chances would be nice, though.
Thank you! :) You're absolutely right, we realized this a bit late. I added hints to a couple of replies, but will definitely need to do all of them later!
I'd love to play it again if you get around to updating it later.
