Very nicely done, I thought the ghosts were so cute. For me, bobbing for apples was the perfect difficulty. I got it on my first try, but it was just difficult enough that I had to pay attention, but easy enough that I wasn't stuck.

I think it would have been nicer if some other ghosts had costumes, and their houses had some Halloween decorations, plus the end felt abrupt when approaching home after trick or treating.

I almost didn't play as I tend to avoid any downloads, but I'm glad I made an exception. I'm sure you'd have had many more ratings if it was playable in broswer as it's awesome! This game is so nice for only having 3 days to make, and I loved it.

I loved the stories and the themes of nature and magic. The scenery was nice as well.

I think it would have been cool if discovering all the secrets would unlock a final secret that pops up or has something new appear on the road. It took me a minute to notice the top left said I collected all 15, so I kept searching for a bit.

I know it was a darker game, but I think it was still cozy, as it was simple, and low-pressure to play, and felt like reading a spooky book in autumn, and reading is such a cozy activity for me.

The game was so cute looking, but I felt more like I was playing a light horror game, as I had a sense of unease, due to the hiding (which was still cool) and the music sounding creepy, especially (I liked the music).

The music stopped after a while, so I completed the game in silence. Also, nothing seemed to happen when I got noticed by the people. They would get exclamation points over their heads, walk right up to me, do nothing, and give up. When the game ended, the words were cut off as well.

I had fun playing, and I loved collecting the candy as a cute little fox.

Thanks for playing! Glad you found it cute. I do hope to add those features if I update the game more. I know I had tried to make a score count, but it wasn't cooperating in time. :)

Thank you, I'm glad you liked my art. I did try to add a counter, but I couldn't seem to get it working quite right in time. I agree it would have been much nicer with one. :)

Thank you so much! I do have some ideas about adding more enemies while balancing the cozy vibes, so I'll see if I can pull those off if I continue to update.

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I've received comments like that about the mushrooms from a few friends as well, so I definitely have to make them either do something or blend in with the scenery better, as I was hoping to add actual pickups at some point.

And yeah, thanks! I like using my banner for information I don't want missed, or if I have any warnings like bugs or anything (my previous game was very loud and the music never works right, so I warned about it there lol).

Aw! Thank you! Yeah, I'd love to add an end state and some more things to do in the game for sure. I'm glad you still enjoyed it. :)

Thank you! A couple of my friends, who mostly enjoy cozy-type games, were really loving that about Cozy Caster since I made it lower difficulty, slower-paced, and cutesy compared to similar games. :)

I had fun playing, and the art was all so nice and cute. I really liked the different pigeon types and the phone as a menu. The text messages were a nice touch, too.

Nice game! It was a bit difficult, and didn't feel quite cozy, but I think the cuteness of the leaf knight made up for it.

Thank you. I hope to add more sounds in the future. Also, if you have any specific suggestions for improving my art, please let me know. :)

Thank you, that's so sweet of you to say! And yeahhh, vanishing near death is a bug. I actually found it the other day and fixed it, but I have to wait until the jam is over to update. Thank you for telling me about the bug, though! I do plan to add at least a bit more to my game also. :)

I think the game is cute, and I loved the concept. The end was adorable.

I saw that you listed your known issues, so I don't have much feedback beyond noticing those.

I had fun playing. :)

I know your comment said you had no gameplay, but I wanted to check out what was there. From the title and what I can see in the game, it looks like you were going to make a cooking game of some kind? I think that's a cool idea and I would have loved to play that.

I did notice that the controls are strange, as it seems like the directions are tied to the character's direction and not the player's view, which makes it confusing to move.

If you do end up making the full game, I'd love to try it out. :)

Loved it! Picking outfits was so fun, I ended up being a killer ghost cat lol. Gathering candy was fun too, but clicking can be hard on my hands. I think it would be cool if there were even more outfit pieces and sounds when interacting with the buttons. But yeah, I for sure enjoyed playing.

I had fun, and the story was lovely, sad, but sweet. The art was cute as well, made me want a real apple.

I think some fallen leaves on the grass or changing the saturation or colour of some of the scenery could have helped it feel more autumn-like, but that's probably more of a personal opinion on my part, since fall is different around the world anyway.

Nice job on the game. :)

I liked it and was getting invested in what was going on until the demo ended, but I did read that you only managed to make 2 days so far. I think music and sound effects could really enhance the game. Nice job on the art btw. :)

I couldn't spot any anomalies, but I thought the game idea was pretty cool. The owl was cute lol.

The gameplay loop is nice, I liked searching for the leaves and I think you did a good job with the colors and the way the leaves move.

The sound for picking up seeds was quite loud, making me jump and hurting my ears. Music would have also been a nice addition, and maybe some sounds when pushing the leaves around as well.

I also had some trouble navigating as I had trouble remembering where I'd been since every area looked similar, I think adding rocks, trees, water, etc to distinguish each area could help a bit.

Your game for sure gave me cozy fall vibes though, so nice work.

Thanks, I'm glad you think so.

Nice artwork and sound. I had trouble with the rewinding, and once I figured it out, the little green bar marking where to press space vanished, unfortunately.

Thank you :)

The art is so adorable, and I love the paper world. I think it would have been cool if the birds flew away when you got too close, and if the witch had something to say to you once you returned all of the cats.

Thanks, I'm glad you found the game intuitive, and that you think my witch is cute! I took longer than I care to admit trying to get the design right lol.

That's so kind of you to say. I love your suggestions as well.

I had wanted to have an end and make the smoke clouds pixelated as an update. I didn't think about the health bar, thank you. I'll for sure try to add that.

I'm new at Godot, so your recommendation of something specific I can look into using on it is so valueble. You even did the leaf piles using that? It sounds like the TileMapLayer's going to be a game changer for me! (It's my second Jam, but my first with Godot. I used Game Maker the first time, haha.)

Thanks for the comments and feedback.

Ohh, if you do get around to updating it, I'd love to play it again and see. :)

Omg, the music design is awesome! I love how the song gets more intricate as you pick up more stuff, or while the big enemy is aggroed. The game-over screen is funny, and I especially like the art at the end.

If I didn't read the description beneath the game, I'd have no idea that I needed my son, so I think that could be a bit clearer. Also, feedback sounds or effects when taking damage would be cool, as I had trouble noticing that the dolls were throwing stuff to hurt me until my second playthrough.

I had fun, and I think grocery shopping as a little vampire and finding your bat son is pretty cute.

Aw thanks! <3

Thank you so much. Yeah, I thought so too, but I agree about it being more cozy this way. :)

Relaxing game, I had fun and got a few laughs, especially when I found the moon and read the description for it lol.

I think the water was a bit jarring as it didn't fit the rest of the game's look. Also, the sharp edges of the ground at the edges of the water looked kinda rough.

Good job overall, it's super awesome how you managed to make a game about sweeping so enjoyable.

The little cat is so cute, I loved seeing what it would paint next. Pretty good design, as the gameplay was intuitive enough for me to figure out what to do after just a bit of messing around lol.

Omg! I did it! Mrs Fox is so cute :')

I had trouble again, as I didn't realize I had to slide the pearls all the way to the end, but it was great after I figured that out. I'd honestly love it if it had a free mode to just make more necklaces afterwards. Nice work on the game<3

Lovely visuals and sounds. The title screen blocked the menu options if I didn't play in full screen, and I had trouble seeing the lost watch. I enjoyed playing though.

This game is pretty relaxing and chill. Nice job getting the atmosphere just right. I look forward to trying the updated version!

Thanks! I don't know where we could get a wand that shoots candy, but I want one too. lol

Thank you so much for saying so! Also, that's a nice suggestion. I had briefly considered adding aiming, but my time was short.

That was really fun. The dialogue was funny, and I loved everyone's reaction to the character answering everything with yes or no lol. The art style was cute and suited the game well, plus I liked how the trees animated a bit. I think it would be cool if the guy you sell butterflies to had something to say if you didn't have any on you when you try to sell.

If you update it and add the things you were disappointed you couldn't add, I'll for sure replay it. :)

Fun, and so cozy. The leaves could be a bit finicky, but that just let me take my time enjoying the pretty levels.

Making it sound like the music is listened to on a radio with a host, and the host kind of explaining the game story was a cool idea. Plus the witch having a radio hanging off the end of her broom was a nice touch.
