I died pretty fast the first time, but I managed to make it on the second run! I absolutely loved the Cujo inspiration, read the book when I was a teenager and it absolutely blew my mind back then. The horror of being cooked alive by the sun or ripped to shred by the rabid dog(s)... Yeah. I wish the sprite changed so you'd be able to see when you're carrying a weapon, but it played fine either way. I liked the art style, like some paper dolls out of a comic book.
Woah! Love the worldly concept. The dogs were ruthless to me, I could not escape lol! My first attempt I was beating down on one dog with a crowbar until I died from exhaustion, that was something. I tried to use the throw able distractions a few times to no avail either 😭. Eventually learned my lesson and ran through like nobody's business, huffing water from every other watering post. Fun game and definitely intense! The dogs do well in serving as speed demon terrors to motivate me to f off lol. Great job to everyone involved.
Love the "It Came From The Desert" feel!
Amazing game! I loved the 70s atmosphere
Good concept and good implementation. My only nitpick is that it's a bit confusing that the attack animation stays the same when the player has a weapon.
Amazing concept and really loved the style, but I think the game lack hit impact and movement doesn't feel smooth (only have these two nick picks on this game)
Great game and very polished
Amazing job you guys!!!
Interesting concept for a game. I think the character was a little fragile, not allowing for much time to play each round, but I think having to avoid the dogs and collect various items to attack them with was good.
This was a pretty tense game! As someone with a dog, it was kinda rough to get through, but the core gameplay loop was solid and overall I had fun with it.
Great game, I really liked the aesthetics. I haven't seen any other game with the same style yet.
Nice game, looked very cool and ran smooth :D After a few attempts i managed to finish the game!
In this game jam, I encountered some truly interesting game concepts, and your game is one of them! Well done, guys, this is good work!
Looks great and there is a lot of potential in the story and the heat effect. Just a bit short!
Solidly put together game <3 I managed to get out p quickly by just rushing it to the end by accident (was just tryna get away from dog .x.) but the art and audio is v well done!
I managed to get to the end really quickly, and I never figured out how to use a crowbar. The art, music, and sound are really well done. Great job! Keep making games!
Great game with really nice aesthetic, sfx and music! I'm a little bit confused at first about where to go and how to get away from the dogs, but then I ran to the office and managed to finished it.
I'm a top down fan and this one is a cool game! A tad it difficult at first but then it kinda grows on you! Love th e art and the feel and look of the game
Run for your life !!! The thrill of escaping is great.
Never knew dogs could be man’s worst enemy. I liked the top down gameplay, kinda wished that I didn’t have to wrench puppers but then they killed me so all’s fair in love and war :D
Very cool monster escape game, the setting and visuals were done well. I liked the writing a lot it definitely put me into the game before starting and kept me more immersed - the bodies were a nice touch too. The dog AI felt good, I liked that they didn't just run straight at you and would kite around you sometimes, it made the combat a lot more interesting. Great work y'all! And hello from another Digi Alumni hahaha
The dogs were scary!!! I just kept running though and that seemed to make it too easy. Good game though <3
