I have a issue when using the itch app on windows 11 when i sign in i can get to my library and explore fine but when attempting to search games by genrea i get stuck in a cloudfare verify you are human loop. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, updated my pc , and enabled mfa but this issue persist on app. i do not have a vpn nor am i using https proxy on the app. I also cleared my browsing data and cookies on the app to no effect.
I have this issue as well. I am on a Windows 10 desktop and every time I try to browse by anything it takes me to a CloudFlare page to check that I am human. When I click the button to confirm that I am, indeed, a human, it loads then starts refreshing the page rapidly before asking me to check the box again. This only happens on the app and not the website version. I have tried with and without a VPN just to see if that made any difference (it did not). I turned off my anti-virus and it still does not let me pass the verification on the app.

When I select the CloudFlare checkbox yes "Verify I'm human",
From my firefox browser version of itch, there's no issues. Browser itch is fine as I can logout and login again from a different itch account with zero problems. The itch app version is where I'm encountering issues.
I've researched and found this reddit forum:

But even with deleting all cookies, browser history, clearing cache etc, I still cannot access the itch app. I'm blocked with my game dev activity, which is frustrating.

Found an workaround in this thread: https://itch.io/t/5428675/new-human-verification-fails-on-app?after=20. It rather seems that the default browser in the app is unable to retain the verfication token.
Can you please give ANY feedback or communication regarding this actual matter please? The communication about this is unbelieveable bad, Even after writing to the support there still is no reply after literal over a month. Is itch even still alive, as in are people even still working there or what the heck is going on?
I opened a support ticket over itch's support mail address about almost a month ago, and still no reply. I start to wonder if itch is even still alive?
I can suggest to also write to the support and open a ticket to hopefully escalate that issue. Something seriously has to be done asap, as itch is basically almost useless right now. No sane person downloads and updates the games manually!
I am stuck as well, i have been for over two months so i just stopped using itch for a while and thought it was just on my side, now i finally look up a solution and i figure out everyone has this issue hahah. I just had no time to look it up, bc i was packed with stuff to do. If anyone every finds a solution or notices the problem is gone pls pls write inside this thread! I even re installed the app, so now i am on the webbrowser.
To anyone coming by this post i found a solution to finally get past cloudflare and get to teh main page, you have to click on the 3 dots next to the web adress and open dev tools, after that you click on network and click on the wifi symbole with the gear.
After this you go down to User agent and unmark "Use Browser Default" and in browser you choose "UC Browser", what client (windows, ios, android) doesnt matter, the page will refresh once and you finally come to the store page

Thanks for the suggested fix, it will be included in the next update so we can see how it works. I'm still working on some modernization updates for the app so I don't know when the next version will be published quite yet.
I believe the root issue is that the current deployed app is on an old version of electron and cloudflare sees that as suspcious. The next update will also include a newer version of electron which should also hopefully prevent the browser checks but we'll have to do some more testingt.
So the issue is known and hopefully fixed in the future. Thank you @leafo
