How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
The cat is roaming in the dark and bumping into things and trying not to wake the owner and get caught.

Great concept! I wish my cat had the decency to try and be quiet/cautious at night. I didn't realize there was a radar/sonor option at first and just rampaged through the mini-game multiple times, so I felt a bit of variation there would be awesome (like wario-ware). Really well done and the loop was pretty fun.
Thanks for playing! Yeah, I'm allergic to cats, but if I wasn't I might take a cat over a 50lb dog jumping on me while I am asleep.
I liked the gameplay loop, but felt the game was on the easier side.
Thanks for playing! If you failed the arrows with the minigame, it was very punishing, and we didn't have a lot of time to balance or add the other objectives/enemies that we wanted to try to add.
What a great idea! I also love that the owners don’t wake up right away and that you have another type of gameplay to prevent them from waking up. Everything just fits perfectly!!!
Thanks for playing! Appreciate the kind words.
My 7 yr old loved this game!
Thank you, that is the highest compliment.
honestly, I didn't even use the sonar system, actively bumped into objects to play the mini game over and over again.
great concept and great execution.
thanks. That's certainly a viable strategy.
Very cool gameplay, gotta love the sonar system and the whole (especially the ending) is very cute!!
great job!!
Thank you for playing
I really like the concept, the game is pretty beautiful and the cat is cute. good work!
Thanks for playing
That was cute! The premise is funny, yet compelling. I especially enjoy the jazzy soundtrack!
It took me a while to realize the rhythm arrows were supposed to align with the line on top of the box. I had initially assumed the arrow was supposed to be inside the box.
I'm not sure if the mechanics mesh with the premise very well. It seems like I'm supposed to be encouraged to move slowly, using my limited noise resource to avoid obstacles, doing the minigame only as a last resort. However, acing the minigame (which is fairly easy) causes no noise to be built up, so it's potentially less risky to blind run everywhere than it is to use meowing at all.
All-in-all, good work! Congratulations on the submission!
Thanks for playing. It actually is supposed to be close to the center. But there's more leniency in being early than being late.
Love the premise and the palette is also well chosen. My only real complaint is that the game assumes cats actually care if they wake up their owners. Alas, the poor mouse!
Thanks for playing. You raise a good point. Cats really don't care about that.
I guess this cat is the exception lol
Cool gameplay, we also loved the animations.
Thanks for playing!
Artist here! Thanks! It was fun to do!
Great premise, love having to use your meow sparingly to solve the maze. Art and music are lovely as well. Would be good to make collisions clearer to the player, currently its hard to tell if you're going to bump into something. Nice work!
Thanks for playing! I agree, we had to make the collision shapes smaller because we kept bumping into things. It also happens because the cat turns from a sideways profile to an up and down profile so the collision seems to jump a bit when you're doing that.
Nice art and music. Definitely would play some more levels. :)
Thanks for playing! The original thought, was to design it so there would be a random generator so that each playthrough would be different. I actually coded the randomization for the rooms, but we didn't have the rooms created to toss into the random generator. .
