How does the game fit the theme?
The game features the operation of a nuclear reactor, which is one of the riskiest endeavors.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Most interactable objects, sounds, and some props were sourced from the Unity Store rather than made from scratch. All of the code was written from scratch, except for the interactable logic.

How many people worked on the game?

Wow the looks of this game are incredible! Its actually kinda spooky! It took me a while to figure out, but sadly i always lost to the fire, the extinguisher didnt seem to work for me! Great stuff anyways and congratulations on submitting this!

PD: 712 pages of a gibberish manual and NO easter egg at the end? That is evil!

The atmosphere is a vibe the art and models art great the gameplay is nice, with some polishing and a better end it would be better but this is a good entry how it is!

Amazing atmosphere. The web build gets stuck quite a few times tho and figuring out what I have to do takes some time. But great job I was constantly on edge!

Cool game, nicwe atmosphere I loved the art style of the game. The puzzle was interesting but it took a while to win. If anyone plays this game and wonders if it is worth to get to page 712 of that book in the trash - page 69 is enough,,,

Maybe I hoped for a more dramatic end, so this dissapointed me but nevertheless a great game!

Fantastic visuals and feel, but I was thrown off by the lack of a introduction, other than that I think you did great!

Very nice work, amazing vibe both visually and sound wise. Performance wasn't the greatest but that might've been the web player. I got stuck once trying to read the note in the bathroom under the sink while carrying the fuel container. It took quite a while until the X on the note appeared.

This is an amazing piece of art. The soundscape, the visuals, the setting. I absolutely loved all the aesthetics about this game!

However, I always end up losing to the fire. When a fire breaks out, I open the water valve, press the emergency button, grab the fire extinguisher, and start continuously spraying at the fire. But nothing happens. I tried 4 times now, with fire in different places.

What am I supposed to do when the fire breaks out?

Developer

I am sorry this happened to you, it can be really frustrating. There’s currently a bug where the extinguisher won’t work if you spray it too close — it only functions properly from a little distance. I’m glad you enjoyed the art and aesthetics though, and I really appreciate your feedback!

Thank you for this hint. I managed to put out the fire and beat the game now.

As mentioned, I love the atmosphere in this game. The mystery. The anxiety.  The pressure. I would love to play a 4 hour game in this setting.

In the hopes that you will make this into a full game, I did have some technical issues that I hope you can eventually resolve:

  1. Stutters, especially in the beginning of the web game
  2. Crashes. Sometimes they happened when alt-tabbing out of the Windows game.
  3. Mouse movement feels weird, choppy. If I move my mouse real slow for 10 cm, nothing happens. But if I do 10 cm fast, I turn in-game. Maybe it is mouse acceleration? If so, it would be nice to have raw mouse input.
  4. When pressing the emergency button, the hover text on the water valve now always says "close valve", even when it is already closed.
  5. The water valve is misplaced when viewed from a distance.

Anyway, fantastic job with this game. I hope you can get more people to play and rate it.

Also: The biscuit is a lie!!

Thank you for your input! Great job on beating the game, not many have managed to pull that off. I’d love to turn this into a full game someday, since I had a lot of fun working on this project. We’ll definitely take your feedback into account if we ever do that.

The core premise of the game is solid, and despite the complexity of the machine, the systems are impressively well-integrated. Mechanically, everything ties together in a cohesive and thoughtful way - great job on that front!

Gameplay-wise, I found myself struggling quite a bit 😅. From the very beginning, I felt lost and wasn’t even sure when I had actually won or was supposed to escape the facility. A bit more clarity in progression would go a long way.

The post-processing effects, while visually striking, felt a bit overwhelming at times and distracted from the gameplay experience.

One area that could really benefit from improvement is the indication of interactable objects. A white outline would work beautifully in the dark environment, or perhaps a crosshair that changes with an icon and keybind prompt instead of relying on text at the bottom.
Additionally, highlighting key objects more clearly - like showing that a pipe is visibly connected to a water tank - would help reinforce logical interactions and reduce confusion.

In summary: a mechanically well executed concept that would shine even brighter with clearer visual cues and player guidance.

Very cool game. Stressful! A bit confusing to figure out what to do to balance heat and rad, but still a neat game with a spooky vibe. Great job!

Nice resource management game. I liked the art style and atmosphere a lot. Gameplay wise, the code/rod system was a little clunky and it felt like my inputs weren't working all the time, especially if I typed the same digit twice in a row (11 for example). I also felt like the walkway to get back to the computer from the rods was way too long and made having to go down to do anything feel really slow.

Here's a vod of me playing your game. Thanks for sharing!

Extremelly well setting design and narrative induction. Everything , from graphics to sound to environment matches the game design and flow. I was guided through the story while playing, yet I did not manage to finish my quest in time due to talking to the developer 😂

At first I was a bit confused about the lack of any explanation, but found the notes and managed to turn on the reactor, sadly never got the code without blowing up the core.

Also the visuals are great! Love the low FOV style

I am sorry because of my failure. Fun idea, but a difficult to see what you can do, and I never guessed the password.  Overall a pretty good jam game. Well done.

Loved the visuals. Would love more tutorials, though! Or at least a way to tell concepts using game visuals.
