Congratulations everyone!

Amazing results!

Good grief, that was close at the end! I'm looking forward to sampling what everyone has made. But I need sleep first!

Those last 2 days were a crunch.

I was not able to get everything I wanted done.  There's no particles, flying enemies or a parallax background.  I spent my time making sure the levels and enemies felt right instead. Overall, I'm happy with what I published and enjoyed the jam.  Looking forward to playing the submitted games over the week.

I want to personally thank KungFuFurby for creating the excellent soundtrack for my game and relieving a major source of stress off my shoulders.

I am going to continue working on my game.   The Space Rescue Squad in my head is a little over 4 times bigger with more environments, enemies and levels.  There's no time frame yet, I'm juggling a lot of snesdev projects at the moment (some I haven't worked on in months).

Congratulations on your entry, I've been looking forward to it! I built a whole particles and decor system and had to ditch it last minute for lack of time too, I get exactly where you're coming from!

I feel we almost went opposite directions! I sunk a lot of time in trying to get my mode7 bonus levels working, and ultimately had to cut it and salvage what I had to make a quick outro instead.

If I'd spent that time focused on the main game, I might have a lot more to show...

next time!

The flood of submissions at the end was something to behold, think we blew the 2021 snes game jam out of the water

We had hoped to get some people involved in SNES programming, but we never expected such a response...

You are incredible!!

Yes, this is incredible, it's great to see so many new SNES game! Congrats to everyone, and thanks a lot to the Jam organizers for running it! :)

I'm really proud I made something even when it's small! You guys rock! Awesome job!

You made a great job (see also my comment below :-)  ).

Interestingly, I ended up revisiting a SNES ASM project that I had left behind several years ago... even pre-dating the 2021 SNESDev game jam. Not for a game jam, per-se... but simply because I wanted to revisit it. These game jams are giving me a spark or two..

@moon.bit: I'm thinking the same about my submission (and hope the content of my game isn't to small - I tried to give my best for the moment). Your game gives me a very good feeling, when I'm playing it! Great job. I like the atmosphere very much.

@all: Fantastic games! I'm proud to be a part of the jam and the community.

Thanks a lot! We made it, even though it's something small :D
