  • A unique game that I struggled a bit with gameplay. I would like to see this game refined a bit to see the play aspect improved but thank you for your creation
  • Once again, a real game with incredible potential. A slightly more precise version of the controls would make it almost perfect. There’s nothing to complain about — each level evolves, there’s even action, you fight against monsters, so it’s not just a strategy game as it might seem at first glance. Honestly, really well done. Once again, I’d love to see the game go even further. Anyway, congratulations and thank you!
  • A few bugs and glitches. Be careful, as the place where you have to bring the stars to save them looks like a trap or something you don't have to touch. Otherwise, the game is a nice puzzle platformer.

I played the 1.1 version as I tried to play the initial submit everyone made. I only had three real problems with it;

  • The camera gets glitchy when at the bottom extent and you try to fly up. It looks like clamping logic gone awry, and is visually unpleasing
  • The solid black text for the menu and tutorials has poor contrast and could do with an outline. You can see this on the right side of the title menu credits, or in gameplay when the tutorial text scrolls over a vine. Particularly apparent when playing composite on a CRT
  • Very little animation during gameplay. Without animating things like the hungry dudes, my brain switched almost entirely to puzzle solving mode and it felt very functional and lost some of the intended charm

Outside of that though the gameplay was easy to understand, and the levels slowly introduce the layers of complexity available for puzzle designers. You should be very proud, this was a lot of fun to play!

Great points, and thanks for playing. You'll be pleased to know none of these are fixed in later versions! Thanks for taking the time to comment!

I like the art style and there's quite a bit of gameplay variety with different objectives here, which I found enjoyable. The movement and controls and camera could be smoother. The music gave me Jason Page vibes, good stuff. =)

A decent idea here. Although, as I recall, the controls seemed a bit awkwardly mapped. Maybe put the pickup/throw on Y and fly on B, which would match the more standard configuration for SNES games and its controller layout. I could be remembering the controls you implemented wrong. Was quite a few hours ago I tried. Pretty cool though.
