Welcome everybody to this years SNES Dev Game Jam!
We really appreciate you accepting this magnificent challenge of creating your own SNES homebrew. Last years jam was incredible and provided many great entries. But I have the feeling that we will be able to top it this year.
You can always ask here in the forum or on discord for help or to join/create a team. Several chiptune musician already reached out!
Every contribution will be appreciated!
106 people already joined although the jam just started, that is already 5 more people than at the end of last years jam, where around half joined in the last month of the jam.

I've been beating the drum a bit for this game over the last days. And I have even reviewed it: https://snes-testberichte.de/super-hard-bouncer/
Great effort! I really hope to see more SNES games from you.
As already teasered in a previous community post. Svambo and me put a lot of thought into creating a new SNES Dev Game Jam in 2026.
After several weeks we came up with a bit of a plan and concept and since today the SNES Dev Game Jam 2026 site is finally live!

All of you are warmly invited to join - the results of 2025 were mindblowing, and we have a feeling that it will be even more amazing this year, hopefully we will see as many of you as possible in the upcoming jam.
If you can't join, please share :)
I had some trouble getting into your game in the beginning, because I didn't understand the controls properly and I was clueless on what to do. Then I got it and got hooked, the really cool design and the atmospheric music add a lot to the whole feeling.
I hope you will continue working on this game and include some more power-ups and maybe a bit of story to read in some of the empty rooms about what happened and where exactly the player is.
Control issue: if you stand really close to a wall that's north of you and try to shoot left or right it's like the shot gets stuck in the wall and doesn't fly towards the enemy. Cost me some lifes :D
