How does the game fit the theme?
The story is about take a risk. Making a game with a pretty big fill size, and the game can't be played in browser is also pretty risky. The gameplay is also a bit risky.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
None

I wish more people would give downloadable games a shot, they are always so cool! This one is super unique and I loved the concept. Well done!

Cool game! I loved how unique it is and the dialogue was entertaining. I had a lot of fun playing and it kept me hooked! Good job! :D

I understand that you value creativity over the typical games that focus on graphics, predictable sequences of events, or familiar genres, and this game delivers. Arguably, you’ve given it more personality than most entries, and it’s a great addition to the jam. If I’m being honest, I think it would be more appreciated in a jam where games aren’t judged across multiple categories designed for more conventional entries. This was unlike anything I’ve played and certainly an experience that stood out, a game that could easily inspire many others. Nice one!

It was very unusual and fun!! I was really afraid to make a mistake in the keys so as not to lose) I would definitely recommend someone to play this game!

Thank you

This has to be the most unique entry into game jam ever. I was so confused by the screenshots, but how do you even build a page and market something like that, haha. But seriously, this was some funny writing and performance.

If anything this game could win the Innovation category just because how unique the experience was. And probably won't win in the enjoyment with the constant dying and resetting (skill issue). How do you even rate the visuals here? I guess it's 5/5 for a blind person.

It's maybe not the best jam game, but the most fun absolute!

Awesome idea, the voice acting is pretty funny. Though, having to wait for the intro dialogue each times is a bit of a chore if failing multiples times, maybe each at each restart makes the player begin  running, or maybe checkpoints?

Well, overall it is a pretty unique and fun experience.

Great concept and really cool core gameplay - had a lot of fun!
At first, I wasn’t sure when the actual game started, but then it clicked :)
Solid work!

Interesting game, I really like that you included voices! I agree with some of the previous comments that it would be nice if you didn't have to wait through the intro each time you restart.

voice over was really cool idea and that kind of games is really cool, would make it really awesome for co-op game to play with a friend.

It's pretty funny. Would be nice if I could skip the start dialogue instead of having to listen and wait every time I die.

Game concept is pretty cool, I would love to see some track distance to see how far we got, and a menu would be nice too!

After the intro text, everything goes dark and my PC tries to fly to the moon but nothing happens.
What am I doing wrong?

Developer

I guess you are doing noting wrong. But maybe you computer can't run the game. The issue can also be that you have turned of the audio on your computer. The game is mostly audio, and there are nearly no graphics.

Checked everything and re-installed.
Sadly no difference.
My PC could run it for sure.

Thank you for trying.

Just found the issue as I was trying another Unreal Engine Game. In my audio settings the speakers where set to 32bit,  384000hz. After setting it to 16bit, 48000hz the problem went away. Will retry the game in a bit.

The game is very original, but the theme isn’t too notable. If you lose a few times, hearing the same audio gets old. I think something like save points could help, but I’m not sure.
