Amazing pixel art, I think it looks super polished. It took a while to figure out all the mechanics, but I got the hang of it! I would love to see the theme a bit more though .
Very well-made and strong puzzle mechanic. The last level is where the game really tests the player's attention.
This was so good, I spent like 30 minutes, quit at level 4, but I would play this if it was a full game
Very fun, especially once I got into the strategy.
Also, love the music!
Super fun game! I love the idea and the art, its super unique!
If you could play me and my teammate's game and rate it, that would be very nice of you!
Spent more time than I'd admit playing this, haha. Fun as an incremental and as a brain-teaser! I don't really see the theme of the jam implemented in the mechanics, but maybe that's just me!
What a unique puzzle mechanic. It has a gorgeous aesthetic, and a good amount of strategic depth. Haven't seen anything quite like it. Well done!
Wow truly an amazing and very fun game! The pixel art visuals look beautiful and the sounds are nice too. It was sometimes really hard to see if a space was safe or not if there for example also was a tractor beam at the same location which made things a lot harder and felt unfair especially in the last level. Still a very great game tho!
What an amazing game! Incredibly creative mechanics, nice pixel art and a lot of polish. Even more impressive that you made it alone. Think there is a bug though with the tractor beams that push in all direction, when you fly through them they get collected, but you still get pushed. The last two levels feel a bit too long in my opinion, it is frustrating to loose that much progress when you make a mistake. Those are nitpicks though, great job!
Thanks! Yeah, I had to choose between removing the tractor beams of enemies you destroy before or after you reach your final destination. If I remove them before, then the square could change to be a different direction of tractor beam, which would change your final location which might be deadly. So I went with keeping the direction that was shown when you initiate the move so you can always plan for the results, which doesn't make sense if you destroy the ship on the way there. I do agree that the level length could use some fine-tuning and the longer ones needed something to mix them up a bit.
This game is very creative and a great concept of the theme, also had a lot of fun playing it and making moves trying to get upgrades, fun game!
The level generation feels just right for levels 1 and 2. The ratio of enemies to obstacles made me think about my turns. Not sure if it is just that I am bad at diagonals, but I got stuck at late level 3. Sometimes I anticipated that the enemy wouldn't push me because I scrapped another but I'd get pushed anyways.
The gems are a treat that I have to work towards and not just another piece that spawns on the map. Sometimes they're in a dangerous area, and I get one of those cheap thrills when I fly by to pick one up. The range of movement offered and their upgrade paths kept me engaged in that "one more run" feeling. The sound effects bring a nice pop to the game too. Love the shooting into space animation!
Thank you! The tractor beams only effect you if you end your move on their square and the final square was not an enemy or a pickup. Level 3 and 4 ramp up the difficulty pretty hard, I probably should have had the difficulty change within the area as well so it's a another transition.
Amazing game, had a lot of fun! Great visuals! It took me a while to understand how the tractor beam things work, at first I thought they would continuously boost you until you land on a space without an arrow, but after getting that it was fun to work out the movement!
I loved the upgrade system and how it helped me maneuver those weird red squares, Amazing game with great visuals!
impressive incremental game that requires a good amount of thinking ahead! Very nice visuals and audio too
Fantastic job, one of my favorite board games of all time is Onitama, and this felt similar enough with the static movement choices that it hooked me really quickly! Well play tested too and felt fair and captivating throughout. Thank you for making this!
Great board game, gorgeous graphics and animations, good luck!
Great work! One of the most polished ones so far 💪
Great puzzle game! Took me a moment to figure out how exactly to play but once I realized I had movement cards on the right it all clicked. All of it from visuals, gameplay, and sfx worked really really well together. Great project!
Loved it! Can't stop playing :D
Looks like you put a lot of work into this.
