Themes
I used a few, but they're a bit of a SPOILER.
(opposite day, player is replaced by ai, liberate, just one button, the floor is...)
Team
I mostly worked alone, but Nexusnecromance helped make music on the last few days.
Jam
I really enjoyed it! I got to work on an idea I had years ago, but only remembered recently. Unfortunately, I didn't remember it until halfway through the jam.
This is such a great entry! The puzzles were really clever and you really have to think outside the box to solve them. You incorporated a lot of variety which keeps the gameplay engaging and interesting. The artwork and little effects are fantastic too!
Really creative, nice job! Would have been fun to use the pencil more.
Amazing little puzzle game, from the master of puzzles! Smart foreshadowing on a few rooms, and an absolutely nasty trick at the end, which will make you go “AHAAAAAAA” when you find that.
Graphics were simple, but cute and charming, I kinda wish we had more to do with the pencil and eraser.
Music and sfx are nice, that said, the repetitive nature of the sfx when the green clicks away at the 999 is too much for me.
Otherwise absolutely amazing entry!
This is so cool, love this kind of game, the puzzles were creative and there was a good sense of progress. Perfect length for a jam game, but I would totally play a longer version as well. The art was great and the music/sound effects were incorporated perfectly. Very well done
Holy cow what a clever game! And such juicy presentation.
I got stuck twice: At the first enter-three-digits puzzle, didn’t realize I’d be entering them left-to-right (was assuming it would be the order of travel, right-to-left). And then was completely stumped by the upside-down cursor puzzle, had to look in the comments to find the answer to that one!
Probly the best I’ve seen here so far, great work!
Definitely my favorite game from this edition of the JAM. A beautiful, precious, and well-made masterpiece. Hats off to you. First place, no doubt about it. Does it count as cheating that when you had to flip the mouse, I decided to turn my mouse upside down on my desktop? HAHAHAHA, you didn't see that coming, did you? HAHAHAHA. I feel dirty for cheating a little. You definitely came to teach us a lesson.
This an incredibly well polished game! Some very creative puzzles that require thinking outside of the box - I was truly stumped on the upside down cursor puzzle and had to resort to checking the hints. I also got stuck on the first puzzle of pressing the buttons in the correct order for an embarrassingly long time; I unfortunately assumed the blank buttons were null/zeros!
All in all, very original idea and incredibly well executed little game!
Great game, brings me back to old flash puzzle games. Loved the art style, really polished for a Pico-8 game, and a great use of the resolution!
Amazing concept! Nice art and sound!
The puzzle were a bit hard. I got stuck on the first one, If I weren't streaming I would have given up pretty quickly. More hints would be useful. Some design flaws could be polished. For example the settings did not seem like part of the puzzle. I wanted to like the execution more. Some testing with more people and getting feedback might help to make the game fantastic!
Over all very strong project!
