This idea is really good and fun. I look forward to you making it into a finished game. One small complaint is that I can't quite find where the judgment starts, but I figured it out as I played.

Very cool and creative game! Was a lot of fun and once the slower rings got involved also pretty hard. My biggest pain point with the game is that the samples you used for the drum kit are a bit ear-piercing and kinda low quality. I had to turn down the volume when the hi-hats started coming in because it was a bit rough on the ears. I think having some more pleasing samples could really benefit this game.

Anyways, good game, would play again.

interesting take on the loop theme, great work :)

I loved the idea! Very simple to understand (kinda) puzzlegame, where it's hard to even rage as you vibe with the rhytm lol, there are some bugs, like when I returned to the home screen and then reselected level 1 it didn't let me play, and also if you click on submit just before the next round you can sometimes skip a level! Nice work, tho, just wanted to let you know about these bugs so you can fix them laterr!

Also the UI should be more reactive to the mouse overing in my opinion, as right now it is veeery subtle, and the loop should show you were it starts, as the first level got me pretty confused, good job again!

I really like the concept of the game, and the levels provide a nice challenge. I did get a bit confused about the starting position of the loop, and I noticed that the number of allowed connection points varies between loops. One had a maximum of 4, another 8. It wasn’t immediately clear what the amount per ring was.

Wow, great idea! I really enjoyed it! The art is great! I'd love to see a more developed version. So great! Good job!!!

Thank you for playing! I’m glad you enjoyed it ^-^

This is so cool!! In our brainstorming session at the beginning of the jam I also thought of some kind of music loop reproducer game, this is basically a great implementation of that idea! Very simple and straightforward but well done!! Love the audio effects, UI style, animation, just superb! I could easily see this game extended to diff kinds of musical instruments (only got to lvl 7 so i might not have seen all of them, but by 7 there are a lot of sound sources already which is neato). Great job!

Developer

Thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed playing the game!

The default resolution was much bigger than my computer screen, luckily I was able to switch to fullscreen from the settings to still play. I got stuck on the first one with beatboxing because as far as I could tell I was replicating it perfectly but it insisted I was wrong. I tried a couple configurations to see if I could get it but never got past that level, unfortunately.

Developer

Thank you for playing, the game starts the loop at the right center of the rings. When grading, it will check if the element plays at the correct beat. This will also mean that rotated solutions (which sound identical but they don’t start at the right center of the ring) will be denied because I could not get rotations working in time for the deadline. (which is probably what happened to you).

Nice game. Allowing me to make my own beats as while looking for the right one is nice. And I appreciate freeplay

Developer

Thanks glad you enjoyed it!

Insane game. Very creative

Thank you for playing and rating!

I really liked the concept of having to find out what the beat is! I had a problem where my computer screen wasn't big enough to see the whole game at once and I had to use the scroll wheels on the page to move around to see different parts of the game. Could you add to option to fullscreen? Other than that I had fun playing! Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing, on the fullscreen. When you go to the home menu and press options, there is a button in there to toggle fullscreen. When playing it will keep track of the levels you cleared so you won’t loose progression. If you played the windows build instead of the web one, it will even remember your progress across playthroughs. I will try to make the button more obvious next time. Thanks for feedback!

Submitted

Alright! I’ll give it another try!

The interface feels very like what someone would actually make for a webpage of this concept! Locking the icons into the rings is intuitive. Some more instruments would add some more flavour. Nice job!

Developer

Thank you for playing and the compliments ^-^

Submitted

Loved making my own little beats, with a freeplay mode to boot! Some other instruments in the backgrounds to accompany you would make this go a long way. Still an enjoyable rhythm matching game

Developer

Thanks for playing! I’m glad you enjoyed the freeplay mode ^-^

Very nice concept but i cant hold one drum on third level

Developer

Thanks for playing, I’m not sure why the drum was broken for you, but I hope you enjoyed the part you could play nonetheless.

Art and music are both very good!

I agree with people saying that it would be nice if the start of the loop was labeled, but that's mostly a non-issue once you figure out where the loop starts. Some of the later levels get very complicated so there's definitely a lot of potential for more here!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing!

Submitted

Sick! It matters that the start of each loop is the rightmost node it seems like, so it'd be nice if that was labeled somehow, but once i figured out that it won't accept a rotated solution it was pretty fun.

Developer(+1)

Yes! The start is at the right center of the nodes. I wanted to label it, but I had to start building since only 10 minutes remained until the jam deadline. (Could have done it in the extension, but that’s cheating haha)

Thank you for playing!

Submitted

I feel that, good job getting it in on time!

Love the idea
Stop at level 8 cuz I was finding it too hard, but that's a me issue

Thanks for playing!

didn't know where the loop starts. Aside from that the game is very polished and has a fun and simple idea

Developer

The loop start on the right center of the circle. Definitely should have added an indicator for it but sadly ran out of time. Thanks for playing!
