Yeah that makes sense.

Gload to hear this is going to make a full game out of this, good luck with the development 😎

great artstyle and it was really fun getting the upgrades (especially the volume up one 😁).

interesting concept, lovely artstyle. Was definitely lacking in player feedback (sound effects, visual effects to connect the nodes) but as a gamejam entry, still well done. great work.

Interesting concept. I ran out of dogs eventually but after that, the character developed a life hack where he could eat infinitely and not gain weight. was fun, great work.https://i.gyazo.com/132751aabbca9664b93336806c96c764.jpg

edit: I think all the weight got transferred to this screenshot

interesting take on the loop concept and a good challenge trying to keep to the beat to increase damage. nice work :)

the artstyle was great, if this is expanded on after the gamejam it would be great to get powerups (like movement speed etc) or perhaps a way to upgrade between waves. good work on the gamejam overall :)

interesting concept, had fun getting the ball bouncing at high speed and then nuking the target for like 25k 😮😁

unique take on loops and a more visual novel style gameplay. great work.

great use of the clone concept, was fun solving the puzzles.

interesting take on the loop theme, great work :)

Well thought out puzzles and I liked the use of shadows especially with how they would also loop too. Great work :)

Interesting concept, the visuals were amazing. Well done :)

Awesome take on the loop concept, loved how the music and the commands were in perfect sync.

on top of that the visuals were so good too, great art style. (The retro game style voice for the announcer/narrator was a nice touch too).

such a unique take on loops, great work 😎

Great concept, visuals and sound design. Really relaxing to play, easy to lose track of time. Definitely something I can see being a full fledged game outside of the gamejam :)

Great take on loops (also a big fan of games like wipeout and thumper so enjoyed this even more).

Loved how chaotic it gets as you speed up. great work :)

I couldn't figure out how to use the instruction symbols. Only button that did anything for me was space bar (speeding time up).

the visuals and and motion was so nice and polished. Great entry.

Great take on the loop theme.

easily one of the most craziest concepts I've seen in this gamejam xD great work 😁

I've got your game lined up on my playlist so I'll definitely get round to playing it today.

But since this is your first jam too, I hope you take part next year (I think we will for sure) so it'll be fun checking eachothers entry out again next year. 🫡

The time loop mechanics were great and were utilized well.

There was one room I found a speedrun skip though, I believe it was the 3rd or 4th room where there's a switch overheard and a switch on the ground with a single box. I was able to jump on to the railing and move around the gate and reach the door.

Great work on this jam entry :)

Refreshing, unique and fun take on the loop concept. I thought the puzzle design was really smart.

Great work ^_^

Thanks for playing.

yeah, we 100% wanted to add more, we wanted to have more camera switchups based on different attacks coming from different directions and being able to move the looping track higher or lower. We just couldn't add a lot of it in the gamejam time limit.

Thank you, glad you liked it.

Thank you. (your game entry was great, really enjoyed the style of it. gave it a positive rating 😎)

Thank you 🐢

Thank you for playing our entry 🙇‍♂️

Thank you so much.

Yeah, there was a lot we wanted to add but ran out of time. One big lesson we learnt is to lock the idea in early. We spent most of the first 2 days trying to come up with an idea which resulted in less time actually making the game.😭Was the first gamejam for 3 out of 4 of us(2nd time for one but 1st time in a group) so lots of good lessons learnt😁

Thanks 😊

whilst researching barnacles on turtles, lots of nightmare imagery 😆

Thank you for playing and happy to read you liked it :)

Thanks, glad you liked it :)

Thank you so much.

There was some discussion about their being pickups, but wasn't something we could put time into implementing for the jam.

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it 😁

Thank you 😊

Thank you so much.

The eels definitely needed some more work, had we more time, especially since it was unclear to players that they don't harm the player but just fly towards the turtle to attach to them. If this gets expanded on beyond the jam, they'd definitely be more refined and I think having some kind of melee attack would be pretty neat to hurt them (just imagining the sage batting them away with the bamboo surf board or something along those lines 😁)

Thank you and I agree with your feedback.

Readibility of attacks was something lost in the gamejam limitation but something that would be corrected in a full game release, and yeah disabling the tutorial after first run would have been good too.

Thank you 😊

Thank you :)

wow, that means a lot. thank you so much.
