Thanks so much for the kind words! We’re really glad you enjoyed the gameplay and the twist. We had a lot of fun designing the game! At the start of the game, the AI comes up with a pancake order, and then repeats it every day to create a small loop and make the player question what’s going on.
The controls are listed on the itch page, though we understand not everyone checks there first. We’ll definitely make them clearer in-game next time.
We were working on background music but didn’t manage to finish it before the deadline. It might still make it into a future update.
And about the syrup and powdered sugar… we might add it.
Thanks for playing

The art style is amazing, and the music fits the feel of the game! Wasn't sure what to expect from the game, but this one hit! Did the normall and hard modus, but the hard was a bit too hard for me. I will have to send it to my other dev (he makes a anti rhtyhm game).
Sometimes the key pressed registered twice for me, because the input checks on the key being held.
Overall amazing experience!
Thanks so much for your thoughtful comment! It means a lot to us that you gave the game multiple tries and stuck with it. We really wanted to mess with expectations. What starts as a chaotic cooking game slowly unravels into something a little stranger.
We know about the high sensitivity, and we were glad you found the option in the settings menu. The toggle to hold surely makes a big difference.
As for the scroll wheel, I checked it out and at first it seemed to work, but later in the game it broke. We will be fixing this in the next update after the jam.
Thanks again for playing and for diving into the mystery!

Thanks! The controls could be better for sure. This was the first project we fully relied on physics. Sadly the 4 days wasn't enough to polish the controls (the controls were even worse when we started), however we added a sensitivity slider that hopefully will improve the game. Did you uncover the pancake mystery?

I really like the concept of the game, and the levels provide a nice challenge. I did get a bit confused about the starting position of the loop, and I noticed that the number of allowed connection points varies between loops. One had a maximum of 4, another 8. It wasn’t immediately clear what the amount per ring was.
Thanks for the feedback! Sorry to hear the physics gave you trouble. WebGL lag and motion blur can definitely make things feel a bit off. The pan has a mind of its own sometimes (we're suspicious too 👀). As for the customers, there is a counter where you can drop the plate. Only the customer who ordered can take that plate. I guess what happened is that your order failed, and the second customer checked the counter and found his plate.
Now… for the sake of the story: someone’s watching you. I noticed some cables leading to a strange place. If I were you, I’d probably follow them. 😉

Please remove made by 2 suckers on your main page. Calling yourself a sucker is bad. Making a game in 4 days is kinda hard. I don't know your experience making games, but you tried to make a game. Life has ups and downs, and this is a learning moment. Next year better! Try improving your skills in the meantime!
A good challenge is continuing to work on this! I would love to play it when its finished!
Let me say this first: I like the concept of the game, and it feels like a fun game to play. I like the way the ability system feels, but the game needs some changes to make it more enjoyable. First of all, increase the price of the cards. 1 coin is just really cheap, and I got "maxed" around wave 4 (a bit early, I guess). I got to a point where shooting was really fast, but the auto aim was just slow. If you improve these points, the game will be in a great state!
Daam, I feel disturbed. The fish eating sushi and your using the fish to create sushi to give them sushi to create sushi to give them sushi to create new sushi and to give them new sushi and then they eat the sushi and you create new sushi to give to them.
I like the fact that they get fat when eating too much sushi. Great game nice work!
