How does your game fit the theme?
In this reversed putt-putt game you have almost no control over the putt, but you have control over lil' scoocher bugs in the course itself who will help you guide the ball to the hole!

Neat control scheme, I thought it was a fun challenge although I can see how it would be difficult for many people, maybe limiting the controls to 2 keys per hand would make it easier? I got stuck on course 9 though with the ramp jump, I tried for a couple of minutes but could not make the gap unfortunately. This was the only large difficulty spike I encountered though, the rest of the levels had a good increase in difficulty. I also can't get the title out of my head. Thanks for letting me play Lil Scoochers, I enjoyed my stay :D

Interesting game mechanic!

I like the controls a lot! It works pretty well, I don't understand the link with the theme though.

Weird concept which I liked, but I don't really understand how this fits the theme though?

It reminds me of monkey ball in a way.

Fun game

This was bananas. Not sure how much I really enjoyed playing it, but it was definitely interesting to figure out how best to scooch. Well done coming up with something I never thought I needed in my life.

Haha love the creativity with the controls! Hard though, but fun for sure!

Cool game!

Quite a tactile control scheme. Did not feel as though there was a putter besides me with regard to the actual gameplay of it. Could have been interesting trying to do much the opposite to really land on the theme. Play the little bugs that try and scooch the ball out of the path of the hole the real golfer tries to target.  Nice putting game at present.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! To fit the theme I originally planned to have the initial putt be done by a really sloppy AI, and then you'd do the scooching from there. Unfortunately that just wasn't as fun to play as the current implementation. I'm not sure if that's a design issue or an implementation issue, I'd like to do some more tests but it takes so much time and effort lol. I like your idea, it would take some really good course design to make it difficult for you to stop the ball from going in the hole that I'm not sure I could do.

I really struggled with the control scheme :( sorry

Developer

No problem, thank you for giving it a try still! Trying to teach how the control scheme works was a huge challenge and if I had more time I'm sure it could be done better.

Super interesting concept and fun to play! I love how well-made the "tutorial" / helping graphics are.

Really fun to play! The weird controls make it really fun, not only is it challenging but it feels great.

The movement is not conventional but it feels awesome, really good job!

Controlling the game is enjoyable, but the roles are not reversed. The player still scores the ball and directs its movement.

I appreciate the ability to control the ball mid-hit, which enhances its strength and role in the game's design.

Overall, great job on the mechanic and controls concept.
