Fantastic cover and a great map. Very reminiscent of Jack Vance, so ties nicely into the Appendix N theme. Looks like it would be fun to run. Nice job.

This is a fantastic adventure that perfectly captures a whimsical, yet dangerous, Appendix N feel. The central premise of exploring the petrified guts of a dragon-wizard is a brilliant hook. The writing is a real highlight; its evocative and efficient prose, such as the yawning cave with its rough tongue of a path, guides the GM perfectly. The mechanics are cleverly tied to the anatomy, from the gusting lungs to the acidic stomach, making the dungeon feel like a living environment.

The art has a great charm, and the thematic map is a standout feature. The layout is clear, but the map is so effective it could easily serve as a centre-spread with the location keys arranged around it. This is a minor thought on an otherwise fun and thematically fitting adventure. Well done!

Thanks for the nice review! I was definitely thinking about arranging the keying around the map, I think that would work well. But I'm so on the idea of printed books/zines, I was worried about the map living right in the gutter of the centerfold =D.

I completely get that. If you wanted to reissue this into a zine or book, you'd be contending with the void of no return.

The cover is great. I love the extra little touches to make it look like an old paperback.

Honestly, all of the aesthetics are great. The cream-colored paper, the font choices, the art. All great.

Incredible job of laying out an interesting dungeon (although that brain is not where I'd expect it to be) in one page and change, along with an evocative map and a single page of background and interesting monsters.

I don't see a system stated anywhere in the PDF. Is this for Cairn? A delightful adventure, no matter what.

Thank you!! Oops, it is statted for Cairn, I totally should have mentioned that--thanks, making a note to update.

I loved the cover and the map. A cave made of an ancient sorcerer turned to stone, cool. Simple and straightforward, the design and text are clean and clear. Very good.

Excellent use of space and layout. The art and maps are stellar. I wish there were a few more proverbial buttons and levers for the party to mess with scattered throughout, but everything presented seems well thought out and in-line with the story. I especially appreciate that you took the time to discuss your inspirations on the project page. This is a standout entry.

Very clever set up. This is well designed and easy to follow. Nice!

Smashing art and sweet map.  In my head canon a "rough tounge" is like a mythical measurement of tonnage.  Stone-Lice are a great idea.  I like that this doesn't try to do too much - good work.

Clean layout and a really cool idea for an adventure, the art in this is fantastic and I love that map, awesome work!

I like this premise: the dragon has become the mountain itself and its innards have become the caverns being explored. 👍 So if the pin is pulled and the PCs are still inside after 30 minutes... ?

Developer(+1)

...then they're probably toast, before too long! Unless they can cut their way out, or get Vylziangk to puke, sneeze, or... otherwise eject them. Maybe they'll come up with something clever!
Thanks for your comments, glad you liked it =).

Great cover. Easy to run. Would like to know more about the Puskans. Maybe add somedetails about the NPCs.

Good job.

The art and layout is great. Loved the dungeon and the possibility of fighting Vylziangk itself!!!

Such a great concept, absolutely obsessed with the cover art!!

Love the idea of pulling the Stone Pin and just completely flipping a campaign on its head!

Very vancian! This might be my favourite one yet! Good to see such a bevvy of Appendix N authors listed as inspiration, especially Lieber, When The Sea-King's Away was an inspiration for my entry too. Good luck!
