took me a while to figure out what I was meant to do, the game is quite unique but the game does feel stale after a while. the art is good and audio is at a good volume and feels good. The viewport looked weird in browser, Maybe if you had a full screen button or changed the width/height it would be slightly better.

Damn, this game arts. Seriously though what an incredible vibe, everyone has already mentioned the art so I don't need to go over how amazing it is too much, the extra details like the banner art just being very pretty and itch page having really subtle but animated twinkles is very nice! Great ambiance too, delayed, reverb meows are peak sound design. Gameplay is nice and simple, however I do have one complaint which is actually the same as another game that allowed you to go around (360) a planet, which is it's really hard to tell which direction moving left or right will go sometimes, some way of making this very easy to understand no matter where you are on the planet would be great! Nice idea for the flipping to the other side of the planet, as I said if you could tell which way you were going easier all the clutch saves would feel very cool when flipping! Awesome game!
I really enjoyed the game! The presentation is stunning, it gives the game a cosmic, surreal feeling. It actually reminds me a bit of that one area in Animal Well (won't say which one because of spoilers). I got slightly above 1600 points and lost shortly thereafter. Immediately after losing, I pressed space so the game restarted and I didn't take a screenshot of my final score, but I did take one mid-game at 1544 points:
Going to tell my dealer not to bother, i've found a new way to experience what it's like to be on copious amounts of drugs. Jokes aside, this was a fun arcade game and I love the vibes and aesthetic. The gameplay does feel a tad repetitive, didn't really get harder between planets, so might be worth scaling up the difficulty a bit later on (not too much of course).
Anyways, we love cats, we love this game!
i feel like I have been sucked into the void and the void is cats all the way down

lol great work. loved the art and sound design!
Love the style and ambience of the game, interesting looping mechanics and gameplay.
I have to admit that the steering was a bit confusing for me, I would love shooting to be separated from direction keys (maybe a mouse trigger)? My record was 2 points (negative 70 if we count that hahaha), but looking at other's people scores it might be a skill issue in my case lol
Either way congrats, well done!
Vibes are immaculate, cats are cute, shooting could have felt a bit more punchy, game was pretty fun
Great job on submitting!
Wow that was trippy as hell :)
Had a great time and played for a lot longer than I expected! The art and shaders and music and reverb-laden meows create an amazing atmosphere, and the gameplay, while simple, benefits from a lot of nice little design decisions; I liked the markers indicating where the purple orbs line up with your gun to help aim shots, and I liked the expression on the Cat God's face representing your overall health.
You two did a really good job with this one, good stuff!
Like the others said, the visual aesthetic and sound design are really good! I do wish the mechanic had some more depth to it though. Once I figured out what to do, the limitation was how long I could do it without getting bored which is a bad look for an arcade loop. It definitely needed some kind of ramp up in difficulty at the very least. Some other general remarks I have:
- Sometimes I destroyed an asteroid off-screen but it was hard to tell if I did or not because there is no feedback.
- The controls somehow don’t feel fluid. It might just be a matter of throwing in some tweens and tweaking but it felt a bit stiff.
- The UI for score and health were way to dim so I didn’t see them for a while.
Otherwise I still had a good time but again, it would’ve been neat if there was an increase in difficulty over time.
Cute little game, took me a bit to understand what was happening, but once I did I had fun with it. Well done!
no idea if this is a good score but i felt like i was cooking so hard with that round just wanted to drop it here. loved this game, constantly stressful and you have to just keep going every second. it was awesome (i may go back to try and beat 1000, also very curious what you guys' high scores are :)))
I love the ethereal nature of this game. Flipping across the planet is a nice addition, but it sometimes felt a bit to strict on the hitbox of the beam.
This game looks and sounds amazing. It feels really otherworldly and it is very difficult too haha. I really wonder if there is an end goal to reach or if I am playing for a high score.
The artwork looks great, loved the cat theme. The glow could be a little bit less intense it made the arrow next to the character a bit hard to see. Controls wise it felt good, maybe instead of rotating the player rotate the level? I found it hard to hit the asteroids when i moved really quick. The overall idea's with the planets being like tiny levels was very cool, though a visual hint when the player is close could make that feel more intuitive. Great job!
This is a very good entry ! ^^
I just find that the art was awesome and the game was very polished and clean, the only thing is thatthe gameplay is very very repetitive, but I still had fun playing it. ^^
Congratulations !
I JUST LOVE THE ART. The idea is really good and the art was amazing. Good job!
Lovely art, the rotation feels super slick. Sound was awesome too. Gameplay is maybe a little too simple, but there’s lots of space to do more there!

Super cute artstyle!!! I love it
