Really good game. But really difficult. I know it's my fault when I mess up but it's just too hard. I'd suggest increasing the recharging speed and acceleration of the thruster slightly.
Thanks so much for playing! Definitely tuning the difficulty and working on an introductory level to ease players into the mechanics. I appreciate the feedback!
Man, this game is hard
Yeah, those gravity mechanics are tricky - working on widening up the gaps and adjusting things. Thanks for the feedback!
couldn’t keep the space ship under control but like the idea!
Thanks so much for playing!
seems interesting
Thank you!
Found it really imposibe to manouver, frustrating even. Wanted to use the pull but kept on getting offseted.
Thanks for the feedback, sorry it was frustrating! Trying to find that right balance of challenging but still rewarding/satisfying.
I used the same planet assets on my game, that was weird to see.
Nice game, really like the idea.
Thanks! They're good assets. Your game was fun as well, a nice twist on a standard incremental!
Interesting
Control is a bit difficult
The music is great
Thanks for playing! I really enjoy the music as well and was happy to have found it. I am going to do some work on cleaning up the controls a bit. Thanks for the feedback!
good music choice to match the action. momentum controls were nicely balanced. good work!
Thank you so much! I appreciate you taking the time to play and provide feedback. Glad you enjoyed it.
very fun game, interesting take on the theme and i love it! i was struggling to make a similar orbitting mechanic so its nice to see it done well!
if you have time, id really appreciate it if you could give me some feedback on my game (https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2025/rate/3780834) - its my first game jam and im looking to get better!
Thanks! It was definitely tricky and all came down to balancing the gravity and thrust, lots of trial and error to get it to feel "right".
I will definitely check your game out tonight when I get done with work. This was my first game jam as well, congratulations to you for finishing!
This is incredibly difficult, but messing around with gravity like this is always such a fun concept !
Thanks! I really appreciate the feedback.
difficult, very fun to play tho ^^
Thank you! Will definitely be looking to address the difficulty curve in the near future. Cheers!
Started off by maxing the thrusters every time but I ended up either crashing or drifting off into space in a short time. Then I realized it’s all about small adjustments and carefully maintaining position. Once that clicked, the game felt totally different. Really nice depth built from simple mechanics!
I have done that to myself countless times while testing as well! Full-speed usually wrecks the entire run. Thank you so much for taking the time to play and provide feedback.
Very clean and enjoyable game, I really like how the controls work in a way that it is difficult to counter the ship's momentum, really makes the player think about each move.
Thank you! I was trying to see if I could use very simple mechanics to create a compelling "loop"! I really appreciate the feedback.
Had a similar feeling to the first time I played Lunar Lander! A fun time, but the controls are a little unforgiving for a new players
Thank you very much for the feedback. That is the #1 response I have gotten so far, and will be looking to build a better "intro" level so players can get used to the mechanics.
Took a bit of getting used to before I could even survive, let alone collect the junk.
Why does the music sound like the macarena hahaha
The difficulty curve definitely needs a bit of tuning. I didn't detect the macarena at first, but it was also 2am the night before submissions were due when I finally picked out music haha
Difficult yet addictive high score chaser, good stuff!
Thank you so much! I am glad you enjoyed it.
It's a nice game, difficult yet fun to play.
Thank you so much! I appreciate you!
Nice, kept hitting planets lol. Great work, was fun to control
Yeah, that happened to me a lot as well. I think I might try to spread things out a bit more - at least early on. Thanks so much for taking the time to play and provide feedback!
Great stuff! Difficult, but that made it addicting too, haha.
Thank you! That's how I felt while playtesting as well. I appreciate your time and feedback!
I like the idea, it's a kind of faster simpler (hence more immediate) Kerbal Space Program. It's quite tricky, but after a few utter failures I was able to get to a minute and a half before crashing. I had almost full fuel, but kinda fell into the sun... Damn those intersectional orbits!
It's very complete for a jam game. You've got smooth controls, graphics, sound effects, status UI, high score table... That's great time management right there.
I'd like to be able to tune the ship. Turn speed, thrust power vs fuel usage etc. Lots of potential here.
Thank you so much for the time and valuable feedback! Now that I have a little time to breathe, I will be looking to incorporate some ship tuning into the mix. Something to spend all that hard-earned space junk on. :)
