Yo, I beat the game, it was extremely fun! You added a very unique mechanic to a top-down shooter and it turned out great. I also like the design, each enemy was kind of shaped in a way it would be shooting, so it was easy to understand what everyone will try to throw at me! I bet this would be a very good speedrunning game, since it requires a lot of strategy to think about which enemies should you leave on the board to shoot everything else much faster. Looking forward for any updates :)

Fantastic game! I really like the concept of purchasing upgrades with your time, it really made me strategize which ones would allow me to pick faster routes, and which ones were just a waste of, well, time xD. I fully enjoyed the game and I am looking forward for an expansion in the future, if you ever decide to make one :)

That was very nice to play, thanks! I especially enjoyed the graphic style and the music playing in the background, great card game atmosphere! For me the hardest thing to understand was the scoring system, sometimes when I had bad luck I passed the level nonetheless, where as sometimes I thought I was cooking with some four of a kinds and straights but then I saw that I did not get enough points xD. I guess maybe that's because I don't play poker that much, but maybe a small tutorial at the end would have made it much better. Anyway, thanks for the game, I really enjoyed it :)

Glad you liked it, thanks :)

Very enjoyable to play, the design is simple which really allowed me to focus on the gameplay, which was fast-paced and required thinking, I love it! Could not beat the boss unfortunately, at the end there were like 20 enemies on me and I could not finish that last healthbar part xD

It's a pretty satisfying game, I enjoyed it! I think it is a little unoptimized, since my file crashes after a bit of playing and it's consistent, but otherwise, great game :)

I really like the game's atmosphere, the visuals are spot on and create a nice experience for the player! I think the gameplay could have been a little more fast paced though, I enjoyed looking for different weapons and fighting enemies with them, but then I had to look for the exit for like a few minutes before the next level, which was pretty annoying. Overall, great game, thanks for making it :)

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Thanks for playing! I guess I didn't think about that, cause the way I played the game myself was always charge > jump > release, never together. I think that's the easiest, but I understand people like to play differently. Glad you enjoyed the game though :)

Hey, that's a really fun game to play! The artwork and the dialogs both create a great atmosphere, I immediately knew what my task was and could go straight into solving. One small bug I found is that the dialogs sometimes repeat, like for instance the introduction one is also present on level starts sometimes. The puzzles were really creative, level 3 got me cause I didn't really understant what to do there xD. I surrounded the bomb with boxes and it still exploded and I lost xD. Thanks for the game :)

Glad you enjoyed the game :). To be fair I don't play basketball either xD, but I'm very honored that you gave it your best :)

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it :)

Glad you liked the game :). Again, I agree about the controls, I should have added a customizer, I didn't have time for that during the jam unfortunately

Thanks for the feedback :). About the velocity, I tried that approach at first, but it was very difficult to land shots quickly because you had to get your velocity down to shoot accurately. I believe the current one works better, but I guess that's preference. I'll definitely explore that idea more :)

For me it was quite fun, but the beginning was definitely too slow. I am not a huge fan of idle games, but this one was a pretty nice take on the theme, thanks :)

Insane graphical quality for a game jam, amazing job for that! The puzzles themselves were also designed cleverly, for me it was super challenging to be able to think how should I rotate the die or which path is better, but it was super satisfying once I found a solution!

I really like it, it's a nice take on the theme, having to count fast quickly became challenging, but doable :). One thing, I think sometimes the system did not count some arrows which to me looked like they were pointing down, I guess that was a pretty difficult thing to implement though. Great job, I had a lot of fun!

(1 edit)

I beat it, 8:17 final time! Very cool game, it was difficult to complete the challenges, and they were many variations, so they did not feel repetitive. Thanks :) I also admire the artwork, it's an art style that I am trying to learn, simple yet good looking!

I really like this! The levels are very challenging and well designed, one level when I had to collect 7 green squares got me unfortunately xD. I see great opportunities for expanding this, great job :)

That was fun! The axe throwing mechanic is very satisfying to pull off, and the heart escape is a great move too! Only thing I would change is that for me the game felt a little too easy. When I stopped playing I had like an hour on the timer and it felt impossible to lose xD. Other than that, nice experience, thanks :)

Some of those ads were actually interesting and I wanted to watch them xDD. Fantastic theme interpretation, the game had me focused for the entire duration! I tried to get top 3 but, well, I could only get 4th place in the end :)

Super fun game! I really like the big map, all of the artwork and the upgrade system! At the end I had like 5 bullets per shot with 2.6 fire rate and explosive rounds and it was very nice watching every single living thing disappear in a second xD. I guess maybe the only thing I would add is harder slimes at the end, maybe some shooting ones, maybe even minibosses, looking forward for any updates :)

Hey, that was super fun to play! It's incredible what You managed to make in such short time, the atmosphere feels very real, and the gameplay is simple but strategic, having to strategize when to clean, when to serve and when to recover your stamina was a challenge! Fantastic experience, thank you :)

The audio is peak xD. It was short but enjoyable, great sound effects add onto the falling experience :)

Honestly, this is genius! I enjoyed every second, even though I don't know all of the languages, you could still pass those with generic keywords like "if", "true", "for" etc. And those which I knew I decided to challenge myself to not use them! It's a very cool game, impressive how You managed to also add explanations to keywords in such a short time, it helped me learn something new!

Yo, I finally managed to beat the game! It was really nice, I like that one popular bomb defusing game, so this was a very nice suprise in the jam! Ofc it would be nice to have some randomness, like for instance the matrix could be random, but that's a fantastic start and I am waiting for an update :)

That was very fun to play! It's quite impressive that you managed to make such a nice map like this for a game jam, I like how I had to revisit old zones with new powers in order to progress, that's a good metroidvania experience :) The art is very cute as well!

That was a fun game, I like seeing 2 player games in the jam. It's like a perfect simple to understand yet very competitive browser game to play on a boring comp science lesson with a friend :). Thanks!

Very clean graphics, the game is nice to look at, and the audio is very simple but matches the game perfectly :). I think maybe those targets could be a little more spaced out, or maybe even outside the circle with the player having to walk, cause to be fair I beat the whole thing in like 2 minutes without fully understanding the challenge. I would love to play an updated version, looking forward :)

Really fun! I love fast paced games like this, where I can never be sure what the next challenge will be, and the pixel art was very fitting as well :)

Very nice variant of a popular puzzle, it really makes the game different when you have to take time into consideration xD. The graphics are really smooth and good looking, I enjoyed the experience :)

Yo, great take on the theme! Also the phone emulator works really smoothly, especially the music player :)

I really enjoyed it, tried to get all yellow gems but run out of time, I remembered I have to rate other games as well xD. A count digging down is a genius take on the theme, and the puzzles were very well-designed, I had to think a lot, which I love :)

I love this game, I managed to beat all areas. I am a big fan of Crypt of The Necrodancer, this kind of reminded me of it, really cool take on the theme! Also I startet from Area 0 cause I thought it was the easiest xD, I had a nice suprice afterwards

Pretty cool start, I like the game and the artwork, especially the illusion xD. I think maybe a way to extend the countdown would be cool, like for instance some special kind of food, looking forward for any updates :)

It's a great start, I like it! It's actually impressive that You made a game like this in such few lines of code, I would love to learn pygame so thanks for the code as well :)

I really like it! A count going down is a genius take on the theme, the game is simple to understand and replayable, which is a perfect combination. I think maybe it could go a little faster after a while, cause I had like a 5 minute run where I felt like I could go forever without losing (unfortunately I had to sneeze so the run ended xD). Shaw!

I like it, the idea of a candle running out of fuel is a nice take on the theme, and the main character is very cute xD. If you ever decide to expand the game I would love to play it, it was a little short, but that's how it is in game jams :)

Yo, very fun puzzle! I really admire going for 3D in such short time, I couldn't do that myself xD. The puzzles were very creative and I managed to beat them after some thinking. Also I think the graphics are really nice and match the game's atmosphere

Hi, thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed the game :)

I guess you are right, there should be more options for the jump and shoot buttons. I only thought about the way of controlling the player that felt natural to me, but I understand some people prefer a different control style. I'll definitely add more input options after the jam
