Congratulations on the project! We had a similar idea hahaha Nice! xD

Really solid game and a creative concept!

To be honest, at the start I thought it is going to be another "use your body as platform" platformer; however, you explored the clone concept quite well and really mixed together so many good mechanics. I haven't beaten a bit of the levels yet---it is late on my side, but I will try to beat them when I have time post jam. Really loved the mechanics!

The core mechanics are really nice; however, some small changes on the details could be improved a bit. The big box at one of the levels feels really light to push. In addition, maybe add a visual effect on the bomb's explosion time could be a good indicator as well. However, these are just small suggestions.

Great job!

Thank you so much! We were actually in the process of adding a bomb timer sound/effect when the jam ended LOL!

Had a lot of fun! Really good puzzles.

Nice game, quite a clever puzzler

Solid puzzler and nice execution of the theme. Feel like it was a very overused mechanic for this jam but you managed to make it your own and the game felt fresh! Good stuff :)

Its fun it works and I had a blast. Actually managed to beat all levels! Only issue that I had where the controls, idk wich room but at a certain point I needed to go right catch bomb and throw but they all use the same finger. Other then that nothing I would change its great!

Nice! Having to worry about how to end your current loop and not being able to just end it when you want is a nice touch. Great game!

Fun to play

Good idea for design using "yourself" !

Loved it! I really enjoy puzzle games and this reminded me of Life Goes On

Actually replaying the movements of the previous lives is a nice twist from other games in this jam (where they may just stay at the death spot). Nice!

Great puzzle platformer and you used the classic mechanic of using your previous lives really well. Playing the game was fun, good job making it.

Very fun game, not the only one using the concept but was still fun to play

Submitted(+1)

Cool execution! I saw quite a few games do this exact same idea, but this was fun to play nonetheless. :)

It's one of my favorite entries of this game jam! I really love the concept, and levels 10, 11, and 14 make great use of the mechanics you implemented. With some UI improvements and a few physics bug fixes, the game could be fantastic! Great job 10/10 !

This was a really fun puzzle platformer. I was super impressed with the amount of good puzzles you created in such a short amount of time. Fantastic stuff!

i am so in love with this game!! i absolutely adore the art style (im such a fan of the little robots!!) <3 the difficulty scaling and introduction of mechanics of this game were spot on. absolutely phenomenal work <3!!

Developer(+1)

I was extremely worried about the game difficulty ramping up too slowly! Thank you so much!

I love your idea and the execution, and great art ! Reallyy really good game, congrats

This was actually one of my ideas but I went with something completely different because I didn't have time to figure out how to code all this

Developer

A lot of fighting with the unity physics engine LOL

Submitted (1 edit)

Yeah I guessed as much. I also wanted to ask, is there a proper solution to level 6? I kinda just spammed clones to beat that level LMAO

Developer

Well, you're supposed to put two clones on the right side of the pulley, which jump off to their death when at the bottom. The key is to delay them jumping on the pulley a bit, so that in the third life you can jump down to the left, flip the lever, go back on the pulley, go up since there's twice the weight, and on the right side, and then jump into the goal! But I'm glad there are multiple solutions to the levels, even if they're technically bugs :D

Submitted

Oh wait sorry, I meant level 7, level 6 was easy haha, was pretty straight forward. In level 7 I just flooded the lower area with a bunch of clones until I could climb up to the next platform

Developer

Oh! You can jump on top of the doors when they're down! So one of your clones just flips a lever every few seconds and you jump on the doors as they go up and down :D

It's surprising to see some of my team's initial ideas manifest in other dev's game. We originally thought clone puzzle game would be hard to do level design and come up with interesting mechanic. But apparently you did what my team thought was too difficult so applause to you.

Developer

Yeah, messing with the levels to make them fair was actually probably one of the hardest parts of the prohect! Thanks
