I really enjoyed this! Very cute little puzzle!

I think the character controller was a bit annoying at start especially since it kept gliding across surfaces but I got a hang of it later.

The art style and puzzle design is very nice though! Great job

the game is really fun but as other people have pointed out, its literally impossible to win without taking powerups.

You turn too slowly to catch up to any enemy and fire at them!

But otherwise really fun mechanics!

Really cute game. Reminds me of crazy taxi.

I think it'd be cool to have some background music.

It'd also be nice if the car went faster by default!

Just the task of handling a team this big is impressive!

Kudos to yall

I really enjoyed this!

The math of the balancing is a little too harsh though!

I can get 100 and win (with 1 dice) - Get 110

or I can get 100 and lose (with 1 dice) - Lose 200

It feels a little too unforgiving. But still good fun

Very cute game! Lots of fun

I like the interpretation of the theme!

The game doesnt really fit the jam but its still cute

That's a fascinating take. Really interesting

I think what I was trying to do was more focus on the idea of "media manipulation bad" where you dont actually WANT to be good at outreach and stuff lol.

If you get past week 1 or so you'll notice that! But I do like the idea of creating this as an editor of a single newspaper and competing against other companies!

Thanks for playing and for your feedback

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I only seem to be able to do W to go up. None of the other keys work?

I tried both Arrow keys and WASD!
Let me know if I need to be doing something different to control the snake

This was really fun!

I think you should update the bio or something to include the controls because its confusing to know what the dials too and what the pegs at the top mean
From my best guess, it's supposed to be position rotation and scale at the top and the bottom two radial controls are for x and y??? But then Idk what the other dial does?
This is just a guess though.

The concept is really fun but I think as the other person mentioned, a tutorial level and maybe labels on the controls would go a long way to make it more enjoyable!

Fun lil game! I enjoyed it

Thanks for playing.

What stage did you get to (or act)

I think you'd understand the lack of dopamine a little into week 2 or week 3 😂

But I definitely could've improved the feel and stuff!

This was such a fun idea. I would've enjoyed the ability to increase the speed overall but I had a lot of fun trying to manage all 4 snakes at once lol

Would've really liked a way to speed up the flow. Like one you kinda get the hang of the game it gets a little slow to wait to get to the next loop. I got to almost 3k points without losing a single life lol.

Great concept though. Good job overall! Very unique idea

It's very funny to get ahead of yourself only to remember you took a boost last round and watch your ghost just ram you from the back.

Great fun. 10/10!

Thanks a lot
I really appreciate it

This was such a creative take on the game! I really enjoyed it

The controls were a ton of fun

Had a lot of fun! Really good puzzles.

Incredibly polished game especially given the time frame. I like how it all seems pretty easy starting out and 4-5 rules in you're stressing lol

Very well made. Good job!

Thanks a lot for playing. I really appreciate your feedback.

You're absolutely right. I did want to give some direction in either of those levels and expand the sci fi levels to maybe do a few different sci fi game inspirations instead of just one.

Also glad I was able to waste at least a minute of your time reading that whole pause menu lol. I genuinely dont know what I was thinking

Hahhahah thanks a lot for playing. I'll be honest, I didnt even realize the idea of being able to take the cube with you.

If I go back to it, I bet it could be a mechanic in itself. Bring something along from a previous level to finish the current one.

Glad you enjoyed your lil play date

Thanks a lot for playing! I really appreciate it. And thanks for the support. All the positive compliments is really motivating me to do more game jams!

The art is adorable! I really enjoyed this idea. I've played a few other music games through the jam but this really stands out in its execution!

I came from the devlog. I had a lot of fun playing this. Its a simple but effective idea.

As the days get longer, I think it'd be better to see like... an option to speed up the travel of the witch for example? I also think freshness could be a fun addition. Where you incentive picking up certain ingredients over the others first.

Great job tho (on the video and the game)

Amazing Puzzle game

I love it so much. The puzzles are so well designed with a ton of polish. Fantastic execution

Surprisingly the first ouroboros game I've seen his jam!

Absolutely Adorable. love it!

This is a brilliant platformer! I really would like you to make this into a full-fledged game! This has a lot of potential

Had a lot of fun with this. It's a great idea! Good job

This game is adorable!

The difference in drawing styles like long loop, snake etc are really cool. Add a nice twist to the game. Really enjoyed it.

Also the music is insanely cool!

Oh my god! I really appreciate the in depth feedback. I cant explain how much that means to me!

It's fascinating that having to constantly restart and retry the game still kinda just... fits the theme lol. Because after you submit the game, it does indeed just loop back to the start. But I'm honored you gave it so many tries!

You're totally right about finding a mechanic first though. I was too indecisive the first two days so kind of just threw this together at the end because I was so stressed out about nothing working. The goal was to submit a game no matter what. For the future though, I will definitely try and be more organized!

Regarding 2D however, I have no gift for art. I'm a developer at heart. I would've benefitted from a team where we can share expertise but given the last minute nature of this jam for me, I couldn't do that.

I'm glad you read the whole pause menu lol. It was just me doing stuff on the last day as an excuse while I should've been adding music to everything :)

Thank you so much for playing and providing feedback!

Its a cute idea. The game got stuck on like level 4 i think where it would just loop my main character again and again, and never go to the next stage.

I love the concept though and I'm sure given more time you could make it into an interesting project! Good job

Thanks a lot!

Good game. Very similar vibes to Exit 8. I do think given how simple the mechanic is, having an almost 1GB download is a little insane lol. But I get that you couldnt really focus on optimization and stuff during the jam!

Great attempt though. I enjoyed it

This is such a creative take on the theme.

I really enjoyed it. There is a TON of reading involved lol. But i think that comes with the theme itself.

The controls feel great. The music doesnt get annoying. Overall a great job!

I really enjoyed the art style of this. It's so cute.

The game is very polished especially for one made in 3-4 days. Love the SFX too!

This is so well refined. I would've loved it to be longer. I think you can definitely make more levels for it.

I really enjoyed this

The car controls are very interesting. It feels like a remote control car which I think was the vibe you're going for. It adds an extra level of difficulty around the lap!

Would be cool to see a ghost of your previous lap so it feels more like a race?

Great attempt though!

This game is so trippy! I love it
The art style, the camera constantly rotating is all so disorienting.

Such a unique game! I'm so impressed

Hahah Yea I bet the inner dialogue is what most people in this jam were going through.

But Ayy you're the first person who actually paused and read the whole thing. Thanks a lot lol

And thanks for playing. I really appreciate it

Thanks a ton for playing! I really appreciate it
