Cool stuff! Got some issue with the mouse offset so I kept having to find the right way to drag it.

Good work though :)

Developer

yeah unfortunately this had a fix during the jam but the build was finished 2 minutes after the deadline :( thanks for playing though!!!

12/11—loved it!

Very creative idea with a touch of game jam junkiness (tiles not tiling was a bit too much of a hint 😛).

I did a playthrough without reading anything—so yeah... the red one gave me a headache 😅 But I think I solved the teal one properly (or at least I hope so... I might still be in the dark 😉).

Was it inspired by The Witness? Yes. Do I care? Not at all! The puzzle is unique, and I’d honestly love to play a full release of this game. 😄

It's a shame it only has 19 ratings at the time I'm writing this.

Well done!

Developer

aw, thanks! this is a very nice comment! Yeah some of the puzzles were a little janky, not quite as forgiving as they should have been - but that's something we plan to push an update for now that the jam is over!

Very impressive! I love the witness inspiration and the art was wonderful! One nitpick: I think the tolerance for what counts as having a puzzle solved was a little too forgiving, although that does mean I was able to complete everything! Thanks for making this game!

Developer

thanks for playing! I’m actually fascinated the puzzles seemed too forgiving to you - in my own playtests (and other people who have commented) it seems like it was the complete opposite! Nonetheless, thank you so much for playing, and glad you were able to complete it!

A REALLY REALLY COOOOOOL GAME! I love it very much! It will be my favorite game in this jam so far! It's hard to imagine that you all accomplished such an outstanding job in one jam! It reminds me of the witnesses, as well as extremely outstanding indie games like Outerwilds and Tunic where puzzles blend into the environment. The environmental art is just right, and the sound effects are also excellent! Although I spent half an hour only passing the 7/11 puzzles, some of the puzzles were indeed a bit difficult and I didn't quite understand why they still couldn't be aligned with E. I sincerely hope that you can continue to develop this idea!

Developer

Wow this is so nice! Thank you so much for playing. Unfortunately some of our puzzles are not very forgiving and require conditions which are a little bit TOO precise to be achieved by the average player, which we’re looking at fixing and updating once the review period is over. Still, really glad you were able to play and enjoy nonetheless!!

Great job! Had some trouble with the mouse as you said but it was still a fun time. The ambiance was great with the choice of music. Reminds me a lot of The Witness which is very impressive in a short time frame. Nice job!

Developer

Yeah, unfortunately mouse issues were an issue, one we actually were able to get some kinks worked out of but couldn’t get built until 2 min after the end of the jam! We were definitely looking at the witness as inspiration/reference, so glad we succeeded with that!

Love the idea! The controls were a bit hard, but oh that was so fun! But right now I am completely stuck at the red painting and I just really want to finish the game :')

Submitted

I want back on my other tab were the game was open and it magically finished the red one for me! Finished the game, it was so fun to play, thank you !

Developer

Some of the puzzles are a little jankier unfortunately - as another member of our team noted in another comment we had a major bug-fixing build that didn't finish until 2 minutes after the jam. Still, glad you were still able to enjoy and complete!  Thanks so much for playing and leaving a nice comment!

Dudestack was one of my favorite games from last year's jam, so I was glad to see that you made a new game for this. Aside from the mouse pointer doing its own thing, I really liked this game! I think the puzzles had interesting and creative solutions and the music was fitting and set the mood! I had some problems with the yellow puzzle as I wasn't sure where to stand to get it lined up correctly. Maybe some indication of where to stand would had been good? Other than that, getting the Press E text felt rewarding and I had a good time!

Developer

So awesome to hear dudestack made an impression on you! Yeah, for some of the puzzles, we weren't able to get as much wiggle room as they needed, so the conditions needed to solve it are really difficult to achieve. We're looking into making changes in what the game registers as close enough to maintain the puzzle difficulty without giving solutions away! Thanks for playing!

Love these puzzles!

The camera was a bit hard to manoeuvre but I love all the ouroboros images :)

Developer

🧩Thank you!🧩 We worked hard to make them the best we could (even though we didn't have time to fully render all of them)

Sorry about the camera jank! But I'm glad to hear you enjoyed :-]

Had a problem with mouse but still good game.

Developer

We appreciate it!

We're still kicking ourselves because we implemented a fix for it, but we couldn't get it to build before the deadline. 2 minutes late!!  ( ಥ_ಥ)

Cool game! Such an interesting mechanic. I really enjoyed it despite the mouse issues :)

Thank you thank you! You made it through all our puzzles!

Sorry abt the cursor 😭

Submitted(+2)

Really creative and cool concept. There were some issues with the mouse grabbing mechanic (at least on the web version) but overall it was an amazing experience. The day-night one was creative and the cloud one. Overall I loved it. Sick art too.

Developer

thanks! got a little too ambitious with this one and didn't get to make it as seamless as I'd have hoped (nor was it feasibly replicable given time constraints lol)  - but glad you enjoy and thanks for leaving a comment!

Developer

(●'◡'●) Thank you very much!

Yes, playing in browser makes the cursor ignore us locking it to the center of the screen >:[  I hope it wasn't too frustrating!

But I'm very glad you were able to experience all of the puzzles! And very glad you enjoyed :)

Submitted(+2)

Really cool concept! I like the idea of doing puzzles that focus on looping. Only complaint is the fov or controls are kind of hard to get a grasp of. Also totally agree with the witness comment

Developer

Thank you!

The camera and mouse controls were/are very frustrating to deal with >:[ (from a developer and player standpoint). Building for WebGL really threw off some things regarding the mouse that were working perfectly in engine, but alas! Thank you for playing!!

I wish I could have played more but I got motion sick :( . I really like the vibes of the game. If you were going for something like The Witness you absolutely nailed the vibe!

Developer(+1)

Sorry to hear about the motion sickness! We were having some spotty issues with framerate dictating mouse sensitivity, so apologies if that's what did you in :(
But thank you! That is some serious praise! The witness was definitely a big inspiration (For 1/5 of our teammates (me 😌))

Submitted

It might have contributed a bit, but I had similarly bad motion sickness with The Talos Principle, so my running theory is that the camera movement required for this sort of gameplay just reacts badly with my brain. And yeah, you should be really proud of yourselves! The atmosphere of the game was great, and I thought I spotted one of those 'using the environment to complete the path' style puzzles that I loved so much in the Witness before I had to dip, which is awesome!
