I'm normally not a big fan of idle games, but I can see the work put into this and the effort towards trying to create something that fits the theme.
All impressive stuff, from the visuals, the sound and the AI on the workers.
I can see why this one is a bit of a crowd favourite, great work.
Loved it! Super addictive and the game overall is really polished, my only two points were that I'd like to keep hearing the music, and I think the collector algorithm is a little weird (like, most of the time they all run towards the same coconut), but, besides that, awesome submission!
Thanks for the feedback and I agree on those points!
I maximized profits, I optimized worker workflows, when someone said "What could a coconut cost? $10?" I said "$100!" But at what cost? At what cost?
This was excellent, very chill and satisfying gameplay loop that was really fun to max out. Everything felt really polished and I approve of the message. Great submission, sunburnt CEO for the win!
When I started this video game, I only had the intention to vote another video game for this video game jam but nothing could have prepared me for the life changing moment I would have to face. I was put into this position at the right time and at the right place, I was working alone and I bought more trees. Just when it was 3 trees, I wanted to explore more mechanics of this particular video game so I did, I bought a shaker and then I bought a collector and then in the blink of an eye, I bought better speed and better growing of coconuts. I do not know why but the game did not even tell me to do this, it simply displayed options of exploitation on a menu and I gave into it. It shows the power of power, the brain is beyond corrupted when it is given choices at such easy pace. And you know what I did after? I bought more speed, better coconut growing and more trees. I was addicted you could say, no other game in this jam pulled me in more than this. Exploitation is not fun, but fictional exploitation? now that's something a true entrepreneur can consider. Anyway good game, I thought I'd write some bull crap to show appreciation. Sounds are pretty quiet when the volume is max and the speed of the character should have been much faster, maybe a run button at the minimum and other than that, 9/10 game. Good work.
Thank you for sharing this, happy you had fun!
This was a fun game to have open while rating other games, it's a bit too slow to focus on but as a passive idle game it's great! The graphics are very cool and I liked the player character changing over the course of the game...
okay I just finished the game and 10 MILLION COCONUTS! - uh I mean... I'm a responsible coconut CEO I'm not evil I swear!!!
10 million coconuts and a really bad sunburn later ... What did it all mean .... what are you gonna do with all those coconuts? You couldn't eat them all if you lived to be 1000.
The graphics were super coherent, the gameplay was solid but a little too long for my tastes in number go up games. Good job on the entry!
I started playing it for a quick look at 1 AM and then ended up watching my company grow until 2:30 AM. I probably would have played longer, but I accidentally clicked off and was devastated to lose my progress. Overall, I loved it. I would definitely play something like this if it were expanded into a bigger project. It fit perfectly with the Stronghold Crusader grind I’d been on.
A unique approach to clicker games, I spent much more time on it than I’d like to admit.
Thanks for checking it out!
Dude the full on CEO vibe with the suit got me, haha! The start was a bit slow, but something did keep me interested, might have just been the suit xD
Feels pretty well rounded, specially for a jam game, good job!
The game loop feels really good. As CEO my first decision was to stop working after i hired my first shaker and collector and to solely supervise the shaking and collection process while holding a coconut in my hand so the workers dont get the feeling im slacking :D
I maxed out all upgrades(except multiplier) and 10 million is currently the goal :D
Really cool game :)
I thought this would be a nice game to get back to every few minutes, but I kept playing it for longer than initially thought, really well made!
My well being is fine, thank you. The FPS is not fine however :P.
I loved this game!!! I wish I can play it better with one hand.
Good idea!
I spent more time on this that I thought I would lol. Fun and simple, one of the only times I've ever seen an idle game with 3d graphics.
Really great job with this one! The low-poly visual style works really nicely, and I especially enjoy the detail of the CEO getting ridiculously sunburnt over time. The gameplay loop is fun and intuitive, and the anti-consumption message comes across clearly.
Very well done!
Thanks for playing! The sunburn is my favorite part, I was cracking myself up while implementing it lol
