How is this game a platformer, what spin does it bring to the genre?
This game is a platformer because jumping on platforms is one of the main mechanics of the game, the spin that it brings is the reversing gravity every time the character jumps
How does this game fit the theme?
Gravity gets reversed every time character jumps.

It's a simple game based on simple controls but it's one of the more effective ways to use the gravity mechanic. I like how I was discovering new things like how the empty blocks work or the fact that I can jump over enemies. You did a great job!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it :)
probably the only thing that i don't like is that it's an idea that other people submitted. however, that doesn't change that it is a good submission. the art and audio styles are consistent and fit together. well done
Thanks! I guess reverse gravity is the most obvious thing for people
very cute and clean game, so polished and tight (both in level design and in character controls) it's really impressive!! i especially love the way we understand how the empty blocks work only with the level design. about that, i feel the enemies' design could be a bit more goomba-style, because i didn't realize i could kill them by stomping on them and maybe a more rounded head could help with that. still, congrats on this great entry!
Thank you! I had more ideas for the game but not so much time, still 15 levels is already very much for a game made in 7 days. I think technically you can complete the game avoiding killing enemies but I'lltry to change the enemy design in the next update
The best gravity-flipping game in the jam I have played so far and the robots are the cutest - very suitable for the art style. Awesome work!
Thank you :D
Fun and aesthetic game!
Thank you!
I really liked the audio and the gameplay. Fun game
Thanks! ;D
Looks like a very polished finished game, rare thing in a jam.
Now i dream about reaching that level of quality. Thanks for that game, amazing clean visuals, sfx and vfx.
I need to go and study that game some more, so the next time i can do something that remotely good :)
Can you tell how you did water animation? Just animated sprite with some sort of a death collider?
Thank you so much! This game came out surprisingly close to what I had in mind before making it. I had some more ideas for levels with new mechanics but I had to finish the game in time so despite making it smaller I feel like this is the one that came out very good. Maybe having a clear vision of how the game looks, plays and feels helps.
Water is actually the first obstacle I made. I drew a wave, used color bucket to fill up the lower part and made 3 different frames. Then set the speed to 16 frames per second and made it deadly for the player on collision. Normally water takes 2x2 blocks of space but in some places I hid it behind the blocks so only 1x1 tile is visible. Also I rotated it upside down in some places so it looks cool. That's really it, nothing too crazy, think I overexplained it but here is a closer look if you need
Yeah, game turn out great. Thanks for detailed answer :)
Awesome game. Too many scenes, beatiful effects, music and SFX. I like it. And completely researched theme of game jam
Thank you :D
Great visuals and fun puzzles here! I think your art style is simple and effective—the stretch on those sprites is so perfect. Thanks for making and sharing!
Thank you, glad you liked it!
Really cool game, I like the snapiness of the gravity inversion a lot it feels great. Cool level design with the bridges and screen wrapping. Awesome job!
Thanks!
Very VVVVVV, but still very very good. I like how tight the gravity flip feels, the SFX are amazing, and the level design is impeccable. Rooting for this one to win outright
Wow, thank you so mich!
reminds me of games i have on my old small console (one in type of 9999 in 1)
Sounds interesting
Do you know if it is playable somwhere?
i meant - it's good
Oh, okay. Thanks!
