thanks a lot for the feedback!! i do not plan on updating this game in the near future, but that's always good to know. the glitches are the game's fault i didn't have time to fix this issue during the jam.

i was thinking of the basic one that walks back and forth between two walls, when the player gets closer it starts speeding up and i sometimes felt it was impossible not to take damage while trying to kill it, it was a bit frustrating. and the bat that fly across the screen was hard to avoid at times but that's probably a skill issue. anyway this was only a small issue in an otherwise great game!

cool take on the theme, there's some improvement to be made on the ui and placing blocks (a little tedious sometimes) but it's quite fun!

insane scope for this jam, nice visuals and sfx! i wasn't really into how the combat worked, but i enjoyed getting lost in this (not so) little metroidvania!

really cool graphics and while i think it could be easy for the controls to be very unpredictable, they actually felt very nice! the gameplay loop is simple but enjoyable, great game!

lovely visuals and nice controls, i really like all the little hidden paths it's always a joy to stumble upon them!! i thought the enemies were unfair sometimes but other than that i had a fun time!

nice chill game, i like the fact that you have to deal with the star goal being affected by gravity too. the controls still need work (especially the flip ablity which was pretty inconsistent) and even though the visuals on their own are fine, i'm not a fan of stretched graphics (some platforms for example)

the lag is unfortunately the game's problem. and i don't really know what aesthetic i was going for besides a "funk vibe", so 90s/2000s cartoon is one i'll gladly get behind, thanks for those kind words!

weird and fun little roguelike, cool style (i like the different palettes that you can choose too!). maybe a bit difficult at times but it was fun!

excellent idea, good graphics and level design, but i think the difficulty is high probably too soon

very cute and clean game, so polished and tight (both in level design and in character controls) it's really impressive!! i especially love the way we understand how the empty blocks work only with the level design. about that, i feel the enemies' design could be a bit more goomba-style, because i didn't realize i could kill them by stomping on them and maybe a more rounded head could help with that. still, congrats on this great entry!

incredible indeed especially considering that i've never played a sonic game in my life haha. i realized only while i was developing it that it was a sonic-like, so i'm happy to know you've liked it to the point of wanting to try an actual sonic game! thanks!!

i'm absolutely in love with this artstyle it's so much fun to look at!! it's pretty hard to get used to the controls (maybe the folded version could be less floaty idk) but once you do it's a cool ride up there!

great execution of a great concept! the character is cute and i love the way the sfx integrates with the music!!

nice controls and mechanics, and the number of levels is pretty impressive! the platforming is good but can be frustrating sometimes (i feel that more generous checkpoint could help).

also i like the background art.

glad you noticed the jump-into-ball animation it was my favorite one to make!! and without it i don't think the speed would feel as good.

great game! right in the sweet spot of difficulty where it's challenging while being fun. some sfx are a little repetitive but that's probably the only downside i could find

thanks for the gift, it was a lot of fun!! the atmosphere is great (sfx and music are really well put together), using the bow and shooting arrows everywhere is really cool, there's a lot of upgrades and smart mechanics (although the anti-gravity ability is a little hard to use), and the metroidvania level design is neat! i think there's a lot to improve on the controls, they're fine but kinda slow and sometimes frustrating. otherwise it was a great time, i hope you had fun as well and have a great christmas!

(also i got every achievements except one, which i suspect have something to do with broking all the lamps but idk. i love all the little references you added btw!)

hi! thanks a lot! yes i plan on adding some stuff (i overscoped so a lot of things didn't make it here for now). also i'm aware of the out of bounds visual issue (just fixed it) i rushed the final hours of the jam so there's a lot missing haha. and thanks for pointing out this blind jump, i tried to account for it by placing a platform near by so you can watch what to do before doing it but i'll try another solution
