Such a wacky game XD difficult to control but I suspect that was on purpose, to make absolute sure my valued customers got mustard blasted into their faces every time. Had lots of fun playing it!

Resources & Tutorials (optional)
***Bug if you cant get passed the tutorial*** If you miss the first cup of coffee and dont place it on the dog you wont be able to progress through the tutorial so back out to the title screen and try it again. SORRY!
Oof... so many resources used. Figured the best time to make use of all those assets I bought is during a gamejam so I used a bunch! They're listed in the about section of the game. Started the jam a bit late...wish I had more time. Have to submit early due to circumstances out of my control! Have a great jam everyone!

So fun to play! Love the crazy controls and the difficulty. Had a great time making a mess and serving my customers. Well Done!
LOL! What a silly game with simple yet hilarious mechanics. I missed the tutorial the first time but once I saw that spacebar grabs things then I figured it out. I loved the twist mechanic cuz I sprayed my customer with mustard. Apparently the customer loved it because I won the game. Tutorial could use a little polish but a well done submission!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Can I ask what part of the tutorial you missed? Or rather what part of the tutorial would have made it clearer? There is a bug that wont let you start the game if you drop the first coffee cup on the ground before dropping it on the customer. I've since patched this and a few other little bugs but I have to wait for the judging to end to fix it.
its really fun, but the controls feel a bit weird. everything else is great!
LOVE the slapstick humor. It's so chaotic but it has such a nice vibe. Great submission!!
Really fun and goofy, I played with some friends watching me and we were all laughing the whole time.
Maybe adding a timer to represent the customers patience or something like that would have made it more frenetic, but it really was a fun experience and i'll probably keep playing it, it's very replayable.
Also really nice atmosphere and i liked the touch of having to use the hand to play music.
Oh thank you for the kind words! I'm glad it gave you and your friends a laugh. Originally, I had planned more things for the customer to do, different animations depending on if they received the right food or not. Ran out of time for that stuff, but a patience meter would be a great idea! I also liked some other suggestions of being able to steal the food from other customers tables. Lots of possibilities, but thank you for playing!
Hilarious and cute. Love the artwork. Being able to swap out the vinyl was a nice touch, and the music definitely added to the cozy vibes. Really loved the funny details—I accidentally grabbed the mustard when reaching for doughnuts and the squeezing sound effect got me! The chaotic control thing is funny, but I needed more time to get used to it than I was ready for.
I liked the idea of controlling the cat’s paw, but it was a little difficult for me, I was constantly dropping and spilling something.. :) I also want to note how the soundtrack change through the records was implemented, it’s cool. Overall a great game. Good job.
Hehehe this is great! I like this take on the coffee shop games, I laughed more than I'd like to admit. The lo-fi vinyls somehow made this whole mess feel a bit cozy. and the artstyle is cute! Now that Im thinking about it, you somehow made a game be cute, cozy, and chaotic... how the hell did you even manage to pull that off? Overall I enjoyed my time playing this game and this game has probably given me the most laughs so far, amazing job!
Ayyyy! I had a few more hours before the deadline so I tried to just fit in some atmosphere and make it seem more like a cafe. It's actually not that much, I copied the main character, changed up the outfits, duplicated them, put a sit animation on them and spread them around the cafe. I wanted to add the ability to actually mix and create drinks like pour the milk into the coffee and make a cafe latte but...yeah not enough time, too ambitious a scope! Thanks for playing! Itching for the next jam! Already signed up to one hahaha!
Damn this arm is a crazy one!
It was a bit hard to get used to controls but once I got hang of it I could start playing.
It certainly was an unique gameplay experience.
I like the gameplay. It reminds me of those hand simulator games and the physical claw arcade games.
The controls took a little while to get used to, as I kept thinking left-click was the grab item button instead of space. The respawning items is very helpful, as I would sometimes move the kitten's arm too quickly whilst the hand is lowered and knock everything off the table.
I like the aspect of having to serve items to gain customer satisfaction. I think a timer or bar that represent a customer's patience would be useful, as I wasn't sure how much time I had to give the items. I like the comments a customer gives when they leave the serving area and the constant background chatter. These help build the cafe ambience.
A pleasant coffee and snack serving game.
Yes, I actually built the same hand interaction as Surgeon Simulator in the 2nd iteration of the game but it was getting complicated very quickly trying to figure out all the grab points between which fingers and tracking joints etc. Knocking everything off the table and making a mess was very much intended but there are some physics issues that I didn't get a chance to fix before release. I did have left click as pickup for most of development but I found that I would often hold both the right mouse button and the left mouse button at the same time instead of letting the right mouse button go and returning the arm back to its original position. I will probably let people choose their control scheme next time! Thanks so much for the feedback!
It took me some time to get used to the controls. Some animations look a bit janky especially the twist of the cat arm but that’s all stuff that’s to be expected anyway. I love the concept and the other patrons of the cafe made me laugh. great job!
Was a bit hard to control, but it was goofy and I got a nice chuckle while also relating to my own cat for a moment. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for playing! Yes there are a lot of physics hijinks going on that I didn't get a chance to resolve before I pushed the game out, but I figured it lent to the chaotic nature of the coffee shop. I've already got a patch to fix a bunch of bugs when the judging is over and I think I'll tackle the interactions next for sure! Thanks!
Bro im crying, this arm is so weird yet funny. And all the silly custmers with their orders, real fun, I like the idea and how it worked out! Great job!
Such a cool game, really loved the asthetic of this one, and loved that you could change the music with the record palyer. Can't wait to see how you progress as a developer!
