I appreciate it, i had a person i met online swoop in to save me for all the music and sound effects, then had one of my friend step in on the last day to help me with some of the art as well so it saved me from what was going to be a missed target lol. I had bigger plans for the game including a underwater section where you could catch other types of sea creatures, but never had time to finish them so had to scrap a large part of what i set out to do, but overall it was still very fun to make!
If i get to work on this game any more in the future there will be some balancing to the fish a little more, but overall each fish has a "mental strength" attribute that is a multiplier. The more jumps they do, the higher chance that they give up from getting too tired, but only on "bad jumps". Just a little hidden mechanic to make certain games less certain, since i didn't want you catching one good fish and sweeping from then on lol. Would probably go about this a different way in the future, but for now hopefully it wasn't too frustrating. Thanks for playing!
really cool idea, pretty game as well. I like the powerup animations, and like how fast the character runs. The combat system is pretty cool, i do wish you would eventually make this into a dungeon crawler type game where you're a little more incentivsed to kill all the enemies and go through levels, cause with this art style and that combat that would be super fun. Very cool game!
Thanks for the feedback, I am still learning Godot, as i have never used it before this jam, and I am still teaching myself programming with this being my second game, so there are some obvious bugs. I spent a lot of this project simply assembling everything that I was sent, as i've never worked with a team, so this was definitely a good learning experience for me haha. Next time i would like to spend more time actually getting to program, and less time doing other things haha

I definitely want to go more into detail with some of their dialogues if I ever get a chance to work on this more in the future, as I like making characters and goofy designs for different characters, so hopefully in the future Ill get the chance to work more on the game! I love this game's idea! Its a very cool and relaxing game, the only suggestion I really have is to add in the ablility to turn on a "difficulty" to where it would add a timer or something to make the game have a little more stakes, as it didn't seem like there was any reason not to just do it super slow and look around, as I think it would be a really fun game idea to add in a timer for each word, or a timer to get out of the maze. Fun idea overall, and love the menu's and the vibe of the game!
