Loved it! Can't wait the hard mode.
The game is good, but I found it too easy. The branches spawn in almost the same position, and the leaf doesn’t speed up or anything like that. I also want to note that the physics of the leaf itself is a little strange, when it crashes into a branch or when I press W, it rises up, and then suddenly falls down in an unrealistic way. Overall the idea is good, but there is some work to be done.
I really enjoyed dancing with this small leaf.
Unfortunately I got stuck between 2 branches that spawned too close to each other.
Other than that, it was delightful.
I'm sorry that happened! I tried to program a fix for that but I guess it did not work, will keep at it!
Nice little game, the controls feel great, the flip is neat! Feels a little bit empty, maybe other leaves that interfere with yours or some variety on branches..? Feels calming cus it's kinda difficult to lose, but i didn't feel any pressure because of it! Great job!
I agree with the comment below that hitting the branches should probably end your run. Especially since you can float up to avoid them. But the game was good and fit the theme well so very good job!

Thank you for your input. I thought about having the branches end your run, but since this was a cozy game jam I wanted the gameplay to be more simple and relaxing. I think I will add a hard mode that adds a game over on branch hits after the jam is over!
nice! it would have been more interesting with like different types of enemies like birds, and maybe powerups, but still pretty cool :)

Thanks for playing! There actually is a little bit of an off screen area where you can still control the leaf so maybe it was still alive? Hahaha
