Are you ready to put your platforming skills to the test? This game jam is all about making a unique platformer with your own spin on mechanics in ONE WEEK!, albeit it be a physcis based platformer like sonic, or a accurate rage game like i wanna be the guy, a sidescroller, 3d or top down platormer, as long as it classifies as it then it counts

How does it work?

• The jam starts when the theme is revealed. Your game must incorporate the theme in some way!
• Once the jam ends, all submitted games will be rated by fellow participants.
• You'll get to play, rate, and give feedback on other submissions, helping everyone improve their craft!

Never made a platformer before? No worries! 🚀

This is the perfect opportunity to experiment and learn! Even if you don’t finish in time, you’ll gain valuable experience. 

Can I work in a team? 💪

Yes! Teaming up is encouraged . While there’s no limit on team size, i recommend keeping it small for easier collaboration.

• Any game engine or framework is allowed.
• You can use third-party assets, but you must have the right to use them and provide proper credit.

Judging Criteria 🏆

Games will be rated in six categories:

💖 Fun – Is it enjoyable to play?

🎮 Gameplay – How well do the mechanics work?

💀 Uniqueness – What makes your game stand out?

💡 Theme – How well does it fit the jam theme?

🌟 Visuals – Does the art enhance the experience?

🎧 Audio – How does sound contribute to the game?

The highest-rated game overall will be crowned the Ultimate Platformer Champion by ME!
