Are you ready to put your platforming skills to the test? This game jam is all about making a unique platformer with your own spin on mechanics in ONE WEEK!, albeit it be a physcis based platformer like sonic, or a accurate rage game like i wanna be the guy, a sidescroller, 3d or top down platormer, as long as it classifies as it then it counts

How does it work?

• The jam starts when the theme is revealed. Your game must incorporate the theme in some way!
• Once the jam ends, all submitted games will be rated by fellow participants.
• You'll get to play, rate, and give feedback on other submissions, helping everyone improve their craft!

Never made a platformer before? No worries! 🚀

This is the perfect opportunity to experiment and learn! Even if you don’t finish in time, you’ll gain valuable experience. 

Can I work in a team? 💪

Yes! Teaming up is encouraged . While there’s no limit on team size, i recommend keeping it small for easier collaboration

🎮 Game Jam Rules

1. 🎯 Platformer Required — As stated in the jam title, your game must be a platformer or reference the concept in some way. Any style of platformer is welcome — be creative!

2. 🤖 AI Asset Use — If you use AI-generated assets, you must clearly state it in the game description or within the game itself.

3. 🧠 Be Original — Create your own game, ideas, and assets! Using free or open assets is okay, just give proper credit.

4. ⏰ Stay on Time — Submit before the deadline! Late entries may be accepted for a short grace period, but don’t push your luck.

5. 👥 Teamwork Allowed — You can work solo or in a team. Just make sure everyone involved is properly credited.

6. 🚫 No Cheating — Don’t submit old projects. Everything should be made during the jam (unless otherwise stated). General-purpose assets like music or art can be reused or created beforehand.

7. 🧼 Keep it Clean — No hateful, offensive, or NSFW content allowed.

8. 📌 Follow the Theme — You’ll be rated on theme usage, so make sure your game fits in some way!

• 🧱 Custom Engines Allowed — Premade custom engines are totally fine, as per the general assets rule.

The highest-rated game overall will be crowned the Ultimate Platformer Champion by ME!
