I don't understand but I felt this.
Interesting! On the first screen, I managed to get out of the house and walked into the void—I thought there was a hidden second ending, haha! Great writing, and I love the minimalist art style (though I’d watch out for the readability of the fonts).
Thank you for sharing this!
That font was difficult to read at the end.
Interesting project! o0
I liked the writing, it’s very somber yet somehow hopeful. the silence gives it a certain mood, though I think it’d be even moodier with a soundscape. the minimal 1-bit art fits well, but the transparency of things made it look a bit messy. I tried going outside the room for a while… is there really nothing for us out there? I think it’s cool how the whole thing loops back on itself — my conclusion is that we should try again, and keep growing!
As someone who tries to make video games, I really felt this. Nice work.
You’re not trying to make video games, you are making video games! The proof being the one you just submitted! :P
This is a cool interpretation of the theme! only mildly upsetting but i think thats what you're going for.
This achieves what you're going for but it does lack some audio. I think a lot of people will relate in some way to how the character is feeling.
I quite liked the art style, really gels well with the type of game.
Wasn't able to get audio in bc I had been working on another project before scrapping it and had other things 4 the weekend. Wish there was time for it. glad you liked the art!
artistic, short and simple, gj!
Poetic.
This is an avant-garde work of art. Truly. A window into the experience of being in a dark place.
I don't understand but I think that's why I liked it so much. good job!
Wow, this one hit hard. I really loved this - it's a good depiction of how this stuff really feels. This is a nice example of how gaming and poetry and/or prose can be used together.
i was confused on the controls at the beginning since there’s no instructions besides starting with space. i walked out of bounds off the path and just kept going because i had no direction or objective in-game. while i like the moody concept, i wish i had an idea of what i’m supposed to do. - ANTIHERO Shiloh
