The graphics are nice in-game, and the opening title sequence really does a good job of setting the mood/atmosphere!

I'm not sure the long cutscenes added so much to the game compared to how much effort they took. I actually ended up exploring the whole map, exiting the game, then coming back once I realized I had to press E to start doing things. I also mistakenly hit E a 2nd time on the crew capsule and it went through the entire loading bar again. This felt more like a story that I was pressing E to play through (which isn't bad), but the slow movement and big empty space meant that there were long gaps of doing nothing between the main story beats.

good game. ggs

I like low-poly visual style and rich atmosphere. The plot is short but intriguing. The game reminded me of Signalis and Solaris. Хорошая работа!

Game has very nice graphics and audio, but the waiting times for tasks are way too long, also walking from one place to another.

It is apparent that with style it was heavily inspired by 2001 Odyssey. But the overall art style is interesting, I know characters are purposefully made this way to abomination, but I am just not big fan of this style 😃 And then you have this nice lighting/post processing and animations and at the same time half of the audio is missing.

Also I would just make the spacebar skip more input responsive and I would really love some basic UI indicators where to go/if something is interactable/etc.

Also the menu is broken when I press ESC in game and it cannot be closed afterwards and some mission text is overlapping.

But you probably know all that. If it was more polished and you had more time, it could turn out to be great!

The characters hahahahhahaha that was cool. Maybe some more bug fixing after the jam :)

Love the fun look of the character, I faced the same bug with the main menu as others said. nice game!

Very cool art, music and story, but the game is slightly buggy, "Fix the ship" and "space to continue" overlap, menu buttons resume and controls doesn't work. The story is interesting and probably would've been slightly better expanded a little, Also, the text being automatically continued makes reading it (gameplay wise trivial) difficult

The selling point of this experience is the story and the aesthetic. The 3D work is very nice (with the exception of the visible border on the right), and you definitely feel sad for the MC.

Now, there are a few important issues: The first one is that doing anything takes too long, the second one is that there's not much to do anyway. This is more of a visual novel than a game, though not a bad one!

Things that are too slow: Walking, interacting or fixing things, dialogue, finding stuff, transitions (fade-in, dade-out).

Mechanically-wise: The martian slow walk is nice, but everything is too far apart. There's no way to tell what you can interact with, or where it is. When I had to obtain a mineral sample, there was no indication that the drill had spawned beside the ship.

On the story: For the most part it was great, the cutscene in the space ship, the dialogue when landing, etc. But at one point it's mentioned that the planet is alive, yet that is never elaborated on.

I believe too much focus and time was likely spent on dialogue systems, low-poly models, animations, etc., and not so much on gameplay.

Regardless, congrats! If taken as a interactive short movie, it's definitely going somewhere.

The sound design is really spectacular in this game! The aesthetic and visuals are really great and fit well together. The cutscenes and story was so unexpected from a game jam game but highly impressing and cool. The story seems to be pretty intriguing and in depth definitely the best part of the game along with the as ethic coming in close as second.

I don't really have any problems with the cutscenes besides maybe a little faster, but I think almost the entire game as a whole needs to be faster. Everything feels slow to do with walking from place to place, interactions with a slow bar, and slow cutscenes with slow transitions. Just making everything faster would keep me far better engaged. Another problem is that more gameplay is just needed there wasn't a lot to do from what I could see. Adding more interactions, mini games for those interactions, or adding entirely new mechanics like a sprint or a way to dig up the resource you're supposed to be getting would make it a lot more enjoyable experience.

Great work on the ambient music, sfx and visuals. Cutscenes and text could be a tad faster imo. Very enjoyable!

Great visuals, love the look of the characters in the first cut scene! Got stuck on the menu though :( Buttons wouldn't interact. Is there another canvas on top of them with the same or higher order in layer that's blocking the click maybe? Either way couldn't progress any further. I got past fixing the ship. This could use a mini-game I think, just something very simple like constantly click mouse would make it more interactive. Overall great aesthetic, good job!

Hello, great ambiance and story! It was fun, but a little bit too slow. Maybe adding something to do during the tasks, like mini-games, could help keep the pace engaging! By the way, feel free to check out my game! 😊

Greqt story and ambiance. Interaction maybe a little too slow. Great job !

Played and rated :) really loved the low poly visuals, especially the faces in the intro scene, but the gameplay was very basic, fixing the ship was just watching a progress bar fill up very slowely, i made it to the next task and saw it was another progress bar and have to admit thats as far as i got. Really good atmosphere though, and still a solid effort in a one week jam

Game looks awesome! Ran into the same menu problem as others already said.

Solid work!

Same menu problem as others mentioned. Also, I wasn’t sure how to progress after completing 2 or 3 missions. I couldn’t find anything new in the area. By the way, the intro animation is really interesting! I love their faces so much lol!

Very well made graphics and audio, got stuck on menu. Interaction could be faster or more interactive.

Had a play, and I like the concept; Short-sweet and with a moral dilemma. Gameplay wise it was a bit slow with the progress bars; the time wasn't the issue its the lack of interaction- something like a little mini-game or something with a bar going back and forth, pressing "E" at the correct moment and getting some sort of boost in time would have made that just a bit better. Also for interacting with stuff, I figured it was "E" since that's pretty common place but it would have benefited with an action prompt above the intractable for more casual people. Overall it had a pretty captivating story, and I enjoyed the lonely-sort of creepy feel the game had

The audio and visuals are amazing! I also got stuck on the pause menu :(
