Good job finishing your first game! It's my first one too, in fact, we had some similar ideas!
The game feels really nice to play and the only thing I would add is more enemy variety and maybe increase the pace a little. Great work!

Great game. Who doesn't love being able to fling infinite fireballs? I enjoyed the time crunch and having to balance killing enemies in hopes of getting extra time and saving time running by them. It was irritating when enemies spawned on top of me during a boss fight to kill me, though. Regardless, great job with how little time you had to make this!
The enemies spawning on you was probably the only thing I really feel I failed at. The bosses were (and still are) too easy for ranged and I was hoping to find a way to balance them for melee. Hindsight and all that. Thanks for playing though, it was tons of fun to make. The time was mildly inspired by the time crunch we were all under during the jam to make our games lol
Fantastic game. The art was nice, the music was nice, the movement felt high quality, and the game was really fun overall. I really enjoyed playing this!
Simple but fun, for some reason gives a bit binding of Isaac vibes, but not in a bad way at all. The levels were nicely challenging at times and the gameplay was well, entertaining :D Keep it up!
Really cool game ! Nice mechanics and polishes
You kept the scope well under control for the jam, yet some ways I would improve it :
All of those things were definitely in the original plan, but like you said, I choose to keep the scope small. I wanted to focus more on polishing out a game and finishing because, if I'm honest, this is my first finished game. I usually just let myself add way to much and increase the scope to well beyond what I'm capable of. For sure will be looking to improve this in the future. Thanks for playing!
Wow, if you made the art and music from scratch for this gamejam I am impressed.
Great to have little things like choosing the gender of your character in gamejams :) Good job.
Just be careful with naming your game though :( http://www.towerfall-game.com/ A very popular and successful game with the same name already exists.
Naw I didn't make the majority of the art or any of the music unfortunately. Not within my skillset.
Also, oh no. I was too involved in making it I didn't think to double check the name. Guess I'll rename it after the jam is finished. Or before? Not sure if thats allowed.
Thanks for playing though! It was a fun project to work on.
Great game all around. Tough but fair and rewarding to beat. Beautiful pixel art too!
