I played all the games
I like the idea! Some of the looooooooong jumps were damn near impossible. And that was at the beginning of the game. Now, i don't mind a challenge at all, but the harder parts should be near the end of the game :D. Awesome job though!
Haha, trust me, it gets harder..... i liked you liked the game!
Love the voice over! I included it in my XanderJam 3 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
Solid game. It was slightly tricky to figure out in the beginning, but then I got going. Eventually got stuck in a section and fell down the pit in process, so I'll need to give it another go later. Good work.
Interesting but very hard. I was not able to overcome the 4th obstacle. Air controll is very hard. I have read that when you make a game jam as you play the game so much for test you are better than the average player so don't hesiate to reduce a bit difficulty. At least let players overcome the first screen so they will see more variety of your game and get more engaged. Me i give up on the first screen of the game after one hour of trial.
Thanks for the feedback, but streamers that have played my games, and my playtesters, and most of them after 5 min playing, they get really good, and they beat almost all of the game if not all of it
I understand. Streamers may be better than average. I don't say your game is too difficult i think it's good to have this challenge. I just say that it miss a reward for noobs like me. Just a first reward to help being engaged with your game.
okay in fact i give it another try and i found why i was strugling. For the first big jump i was waiting for the top of the curve arc to do the second jump and my velocity was almost 0 so i don't jump higher. That's why i'm stuck.
Interesting mechanics. I wish I had a touch screen to play on because I bet it would feel amazing. This would be a neat mobile rage game.
The voice was DEEP! I don't know if the game was though.
Amazing Game, reminds me of Drag n' Boom, without the dragon and the firing, would love some slo-mo action to make it more EPIC! Well Done!
the mechanics feel great! the idea is really cool, and the level design doesnt feel incredibly punishing. you fall just enough to want to get back up there. very simplisitic yet very effective. perhaps ill come back and finish this game some day
please do, there is a surprise for whoever finishes the game, but no one has discovered it so far
I loved the idea of this game, similar premise to Getting Over It, but with golf. But boy did I struggle. It probably took me a solid 5 minutes before I managed to even get past the first couple of screens. I eventually got some rhythm going and made it to the start of the grass section but I slipped and fell down right to the beginning. It was then I rage quit, but I suppose that's the point of the game! :)
Btw. Would love to see a video of the game being completed. Very curious to see what's at the end.
sorry, fue to the secret ending, I can post videos of the game being completed, but not of the final secret ending, once you discover the secret ending, you’ll understand why :) good luck...... and persevere 😉
technically proficient. i enjoyed the voice over, liked the style etc…just couldn’t understand the mechanics of it. i’m bad at games, so thats on me more than the game i suspect.
i did try for about 15 mins tho!
Cool idea
really simple and fun! At first i was frustrated... then I switched to a drawing tablet lol
Didn't get too far as i rage quit but was enjoyable
So I have conflicted feelings about this one. To start off I'll say that I'm playing this on a laptop and it probably works a lot better with a mouse. The main problem is that the ball doesn't actually shoot off in the direction you want it to. It's got some really great Getting Over It vibes and the art and voice overs are really well done. Because the ball doesn't go in the direction you shoot though, it can be frustrating when you get what feel like cheap falls. I understand frustration is a part of the game, but it's tough when launching in a direction can basically just feel like a gamble.
Oh, yes, the only control of this game is the mouse, the controls actually work fine on a variety of different devices, meybe you could try playing the game in your tablet/ phone, thanks for the coment though!
So I tried it on the phone and it works MUCH better, I think the track pad on the laptop was just weird for some reason.
I´ve looked at it again, and the ball actually shoots in the direction intended. Maybe you´re shooting it the other way!
